5:1  O you who believed! Fulfill with the contracts. The livestock animals are permitted (Halal) for you, except those which are recited upon you, not being permitted (Halal) hunt while you are in the state of Ihram. Surely, Allah governs what He wants.

5:2  O you who believed! Do not permit (Halal) Allah’s symbols, nor the Sacred Month, nor the gifts, nor the garlands (that mark out such animals), nor those who are heading for the Sacred House seeking from their Lord’s bounty and satisfaction. And if you became out of Ihram state, you could hunt. And do not let the hatred of a kinfolk who hindered you about the Sacred Mosque, criminalize you to transgress. And aid upon the devotion, and the piety, and do not aid upon the sin and the aggression. And show the piety of Allah. Surely Allah is severe in the punishment.

5:3  Forbidden upon you are the dead, the blood, the flesh of swine, and animals which exalted for other than Allah with it; and the suffocated, the beaten to death, the killed by a fall, the butted to death, and the eaten by the wild animals (lion) except what you have slaughtered, and animals sacrificed on the stone altars; and [prohibited is] that you seek a decision through the divining arrows. That it is debauchery. Today, those who disbelieved have despaired from your religion, so do not awe of them, and awe of Me. Today I have completed your religion for you, and have fulfilled My graces upon you, and have accepted the Islam as a religion for you. So, whoever is compelled in a famine, without inclining purposely to sin. So, Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.

5:4  They ask you what is permitted (Halal) for them. Say, “Permitting halal for you are all the good things, and what you have learned from the hunting animals (Dogs and falcons) which they catch for you.” You teach them from what Allah has taught you. So, eat from what they catch for you, and mention Allah’s name over it. And show the piety of Allah. Surely Allah is Swift in reckoning.

5:5  Today all the good things are permitted (Halal) for you. And food of those given the book is permitted (Halal) for you, and your food is permitted (Halal) for them, and the fortified among the believing women, and the fortified women among the people who were given the Book before you, if you give them their wages, aiming fortification neither promiscuous, nor taking paramour. And whoever disbelieves with the faith, so already his work is inhibited, and in the Hereafter, he is among the losers.

5:6  O you who believed! If you stand for the prayers. So, wash your faces and your hands to the elbows, and wipe with your heads, and your feet to the ankles. And if you were impure (after a sexual act), so purify yourselves. And if you are diseased, or on travelling, or one of you returns from the toilet (for defecation), or you had contacted the women (by sexual relations), so you could not find water, so perform Tayammum with good ground and wipe therewith your faces and hands among it. Allah does not want to set upon you, a critical, but He wants to purify you, and to fulfill His graces upon you, perhaps you may be thanking.

5:7  And remember Allah’s graces upon you, and His charter which He chartered you with; when you said, “We hear, and we obey.” And show the piety of Allah, surely Allah is Knowledgeable with the chest's ego.

5:8  O you who believed! Be establishers for the sake of Allah, witnesses with equity; and do not let the hatred of a kinfolk criminalize you upon not being justice. Be justice, that is nearer for the piety; and show the piety of Allah. Surely Allah is with what you are working, An Expert.

5:9  Allah has promised those who believed and worked the righteous deeds: for them are forgiveness and a great wage.

5:10  And for those who disbelieved and falsified Our verses, those are the Hellfire’s companions.

5:11  O you who believed! Remember Allah's graces upon you; when a kinfolk intended to extend their hands toward you, so He restrained their hands about you. And show the piety of Allah, and upon Allah, so let the believers rely.

5:12  And already Allah took a charter from Israel’s Children, and We missioned from them twelve captains. And Allah said, “I am with you; if you established the prayers, and gave the alms, and believed in My messengers and assisted them, and lent Allah a fineness loan; I will atone your bad deeds about you, and enter you, paradises underneath which the rivers are running. So, whoever among you disbelieved after that, so he has already strayed from the pathway’s soundness.

5:13  So, with breaking their charter, We cursed them, and set up their cores, hard. They interpolate the words from their (right) places, and they forget a share from what they were reminded with it. And you will still disclose upon traitors among them, except a few from them. So, pardon them, and condone. Surely Allah loves the benefactors.

5:14  And among those who said, “We are Christians,” We took their charter, so they forgot some from what they were reminded with. So, We have stirred up the enmity and the detest among them till The Resurrection Day, And Allah will then inform them with what they were making.

5:15  O the book's people! Our Messenger has already come to you, demonstrated for you much among what you hid from the Book, and pardoning about much. Already A light from Allah has come to you, and an obvious Book.

5:16  Allah guides with it, whoever follows His satisfaction to the peace’s pathways, and He exits them out from the darkness into the light, with His permission, and He guides them to a straight path.

5:17  Already they disbelieved those who said, “Allah is The Messiah, Mary's son.” Say, “So who owns from Allah a thing, if He willed, to destroy The Messiah Mary’s son, and his mother, and whoever is on the earth altogether?” And for Allah the sovereignty of the skies and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates whatever He wills, and Allah is over everything competent.

5:18  And the Jews and the Christians said, “We are Allah’s children, and His beloved.” Say, “So why then does He torment you with your misdeeds?” Nay, but you are humankind among whomever He created. He forgives for whoever He wills, and He torments whoever He wills. And for Allah the sovereignty of the skies and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the destiny.

5:19  O the book's people! Already Our Messenger has come to you, to demonstrate for you, after an interval period of the messengers. Lest you say, “None among a preacher has come to us, nor a warner.” So, already a preacher has come to you, and a warner; and Allah is over everything competent.

5:20  And when Moses said to his kinfolk, “O my kinfolk, remember Allah’s graces upon you, when He set up within you prophets, and set up you kings, and gave you what He has never given to a one among the worlds.”

5:21  “O kinfolk, enter the holy land which Allah has written for you, and do not turn on your back, so you will overturn, losers.”

5:22  They said, “O Moses, surely there are mighties kinfolk in it; and surely, we will not enter it until they exit out of it. So, if they exit out of it, we will be entering.”

5:23  Two men among those who feared Allah’s graces upon them, said, "Enter upon them through the door, so when you have entered it, so you will be overcomers. And upon Allah so you rely, if you are believers."

5:24  They said, “O Moses, we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are in it. So, go ahead, you and your Lord, so fight. Surely, we are sitting right here.”

5:25  He said, “My Lord! I don’t own anything except myself and my brother, so separate between us and between the debauchees’ kinfolk.”

5:26  He said, “So it is forbidden upon them for forty lunar years. They will be wandering in the land. So do not sorrow upon the debauchees’ kinfolk.”

5:27  And recite upon them news of Adam's two sons with the right: when they both offered an oblation, so it was accepted from one of them, and it was not accepted from the other. He Said, “I will kill you.” He Said, “Surely Allah accepts only from the pious.”

5:28  “If you extend your hand to kill me, I will not extend my hand to kill you; surely I fear Allah, The Worlds' Lord.”

5:29  “I want you to be incurred by my sin and your sin, so you become among The Fire 's Companions. And this is the oppressors’ penalty.”

5:30  So His soul obeyed for him, his brother killing, so he killed him, so he became among the losers.

5:31  So, Allah missioned a crow search in the land, to show him how to bury his brother's corpse. He said, “Woe for me! I was unable to be like this crow, so I buried my brother's corpse.” So, he became among the regretful ones.

5:32  For that We have written upon Israel’s Children: that whoever killed a soul without a soul (The requital) or spoiling in the earth, so it is as if he killed the whole people altogether; and whoever revived it, so it is as if he revived the whole people altogether. And already our messengers came to them with the proofs, then after that, surely many among them on the earth are extravagant persons.

5:33  Surely, a penalty for those who fight Allah and His Messenger, and are striving on earth for spoiling, is only that they be killed, or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides or be exiled from the land. That is for them in the Dunya a disgrace; and for them in the Hereafter a great torment.

5:34  Except those who repented before you empowered on, them. So, know that Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.

5:35  O you who believed! Show the piety of Allah, and seek the means of approach to Him, and effort in His pathway, perhaps you may be gaining.

5:36  Surely those who disbelieved, even if for them is whatever on the earth, and the like of it with it, to ransom with it (Themselves), from The Resurrection Day torment, it would not be accepted from them. And for them is a painful torment.

5:37  They want to exit out from the Fire, and they will not exit out from it. And for them is a resident torment.

5:38  And the male thief, and the female thief, So cut their hands as a penalty with what they have earned as an exemplary punishment from Allah. And Allah is Mighty, Wise.

5:39  So, whoever repented after his oppression, and repaired, so surely Allah will repent upon him. Surely, Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.

5:40  Do you not know that for Allah is the sovereignty of the skies and the earth? He torments whoever He wills, and He forgives whoever He wills. And Allah is over everything competent.

5:41  O Messenger! Do not grieve you, those who are hastening in infidelity among those who said with their mouths, “We believed,” and their cores did not believe; and among the Jews, who are listening to the lies, listening to another kinfolk who did not come to you. They interpolate the words from after its positioning, they say, “If you are given this, so take it; and if you are not given it, so be cautious.” And whoever Allah has wanted, his infatuation, so you will not own a thing for him from Allah. Those are the ones whom Allah does not want to purify their cores. For them is a disgrace in the Dunya (world), and for them is in the hereafter a great torment.

5:42  Listeners for the lie, eaters of illicit-gain. So, if they come to you. So, judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they will not harm you, in anything. And if you judge, so judge between them with equity. Surely, Allah loves the equity persons.

5:43  And how will they make you judge, and they have the Torah, in which is Allah’s judgment? Then they turn away, after that. And those are not the believers.

5:44  Surely, We have sent down the Torah, within it is guidance and a light, would judge with it the prophets who are submissive for those who are Jews, and the Lord’s worshippers and the priests, with what they kept among Allah’s Book, and they were witnesses upon it. So do not be in awe of the people, and awe of Me. And do not purchase with My verses for a little price. And whoever does not judge with what Allah has sent down, so those are the infidels.

5:45  And We wrote upon them, in it: that the soul is for the soul, the eye is for the eye, the nose is for the nose, the ear is for the ear, the tooth is for the tooth, and the wounds is a retribution; so, whoever gives alms with it, so it is an atonement for him. And whoever does not judge with what Allah has sent down, so those are the oppressors.

5:46  And in their footsteps, We followed up Jesus, Mary’s son, confirming of what between his hand from the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, within it is a guidance and a light, and confirming of what is between his hand among the Torah, and a guidance and a admonition for the pious.

5:47  And let the Gospel’s people judge with what Allah had sent down within it. And whoever does not judge with what Allah has sent down, so those are the debauchees.

5:48  And We sent down to you the Book, with the right, confirming with what is between its hand from the Book, and domineering upon it. So, judge between them with what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires away from what has come to you from the right. For each of you We have set up legislation and a method. And if Allah had willed, He could have set up you a single community, but He tries you within what He has given you. So, race in goodness. To Allah is your return, altogether; so, He will inform you with what you were differing within it?

5:49  And surely judge between them with what Allah had sent down, and do not follow their desires. And be cautious of them, lest they infatuate you away from some of what Allah has sent down to you. So, if they turn away, So know that Allah wants to inflict them with some of their misdeeds. And surely many among the people are debauchees.

5:50  So is it the judgment of the ignorance that they seek? And who is judgment better than Allah for a kinfolk who certain?

5:51  O you who believed! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as guardians; some of them are guardians of some others. And whoever among you guardians them, so he will be among them. Surely Allah does not guide the oppressor kinfolk.

5:52  So, you will see those in whose cores is a disease hastening within them. They say, “We are awed that a turn will inflict us.” So, perhaps Allah will bring with the conquest, or a matter from Himself; so, they become upon what they secret within themselves, regretting.

5:53  And those who believe say, “Are these the ones who swore by Allah with their effort oath that they are with you?” Their works were inhibited, so they became losers.

5:54  O you who believed! Whoever among you returns back about his religion? So, Allah will bring with a kinfolk He loves them and they love Him, they are lowness upon the believers, mightier against the infidels. They effort in Allah’s pathway, and do not fear blame, a blamer. That is Allah’s bounty; He gives it to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing, Knowledgeable.

5:55  Surely your guardian is only Allah and His Messenger, and those who are believed, those who establish the prayer, and give the zakat, while bowing down.

5:56  And whoever his guardian is Allah and His Messenger, and those who are believed, so surely Allah’s party is the overcomers.

5:57  O you who believed! Do not take those who have taken your religion in ridicule and play from those who were given the Book before you and the infidels as guardians. And show the piety of Allah, if you are believers.

5:58  And if you called to the prayers, they took it as a mockery and a play. That is because they are kinfolk who are not reasoning.

5:59  Say, “O the book's people! Are you resenting, from us except that we believed in Allah, and in what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down from before; and surely most of you are debauchees?”

5:60  Say, “Shall I inform you with eviler than that a requital with Allah? He whom Allah has cursed, and He (Allah) became angry upon him; and He made from them the apes, and the swine, and the false god’s worshipers. Those are eviler positions, and furthest astray from the pathway’s soundness.”

5:61  And if they came to you, they said, “We believed,” and already they have entered with infidelity, and they have exited out with it. And Allah is a knower with what they were muting.

5:62  And you see many among them are hastening in the sin and the aggression, and in their eating of the illicit-gain. How wretched is what they were working.

5:63  Why do not the Lord worshippers and the priests prohibit them, about their speaking the sin and eating of the illicit-gain? How wretched is what they were making.

5:64  And the Jews said, “Allah’s hand is cuffed.” Their hands were cuffed and were cursed by what they said. Nay, but His hands are extended; He spends as He wills. And many from them would increase what was sent down to you from your Lord, in tyranny and infidelity. And We threw between them the enmity and the detest, till The Resurrection Day. Whenever they kindle a fire for the war, Allah extinguishes it. And they are striving to spoil the earth. And Allah does not love the spoilers.

5:65  And if the book's people believed and showed piety, We would atone for their bad deeds, and enter them the bliss paradises.

5:66  And if they established the Torah, and the Gospel, and what was sent down to them from their Lord, they would have eaten from above them, and from beneath their feet. Among them is a moderate community, and many among them are bad, what they are working.

5:67  O the Messenger, notify what was sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not do, so you did not notify His message. And Allah makes you infallible from the people. Surely, Allah does not guide the infidel's kinfolk.

5:68  Say, “O the book's people! You are not upon a thing until you established the Torah, and the Gospel, and what was sent down to you from your Lord.” And many among them would increase what was sent down to you from your Lord in tyranny and infidelity, so do not sorrow upon the infidel's kinfolk.

5:69  Surely those who believed, and those were Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians, whoever believed in Allah and the Last Day, and worked a righteous deed, so there is no fear on them, nor are they grieving.

5:70  We already took Israel’s Children charter, and We sent them messengers. Whenever a messenger came to them with what their souls did not desire, a team they falsified them, and a team they were killing them.

5:71  And they considered there would be no infatuation, so they blinded and deafened. Then Allah repented upon them, then many among them blinded and deafened. And Allah is with what they are working, Seer.

5:72  Already, they disbelieved those who said that “Allah is the Messiah, Mary's son.” And the Messiah said, “O Israel's children, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, so Allah has already forbidden upon him paradise, and his shelter is the Fire. And for the oppressors is none from the supporters.”

5:73  Already they disbelieved those who said that “Allah is third of three.” And there is none of God except One God. And if they do not end, about what they are saying, it will touch those among them who disbelieved, a painful torment.

5:74  So, will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.

5:75  The Messiah, Mary’s son was not except a messenger, had already passed away before him the messengers, and his mother was a saint. They both were eating the food. See how We demonstrate the verses for them; then see So, how will they be fooled?

5:76  Say, “Do you worship, without Allah, what does not own a harm or a benefit for you?” And Allah: He is Al-Sameiu(The Hearer), Al-Aalim (The Knower).

5:77  Say, “O the book's people! Do not hyperbole in your religion rather than the right; and do not follow kinfolk’s desire who already were straying before, and strayed many, and strayed (themselves) from the pathway’s soundness. ”

5:78  Cursed are those who disbelieved among Israel’s Children on David’s tongue and Jesus, Mary’s son. That is with what they have disobeyed and were transgressing.

5:79  They had been not prohibiting each other from a denial they did, and how wretched is what they were doing.

5:80  You see many among them are guardians of those who disbelieved. How wretched is what their souls forwarded for them. that Allah's wrath is upon them, and in the torment, they are immortals.

5:81  And if they were believing in Allah and the prophet, and in what was sent down to him, they would not take them guardians. But many among them are debauchees.

5:82  You will find the people of strongest enmity towards the believers are the Jews and the polytheists. And you will find the nearest affection for the believers are those who said, “We are Christians.” That is because among them are saints and monks, and they are not arrogant.

5:83  And if they heard what was sent down to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears, from what they have recognized from the right. They said, “Our Lord, we have believed, so write us with the witnesses.”

5:84  “And why should we not believe in Allah, and in what has come to us from the right, and we covet that our Lord will enter us from the righteous kinfolks?”

5:85  So, Allah rewarded them with what they said, paradises beneath which the rivers are running, immortals therein. And that is the benefactors’ reward.

5:86  And those who disbelieved and falsified with Our verses, those are the Hellfire’s companions.

5:87  O you who believed! Do not forbid good things of what Allah has permitted (Halal) for you, and do not transgress. Surely, Allah does not love the transgressors.

5:88  And eat among what Allah had livelihood for you Halal, Good; and show the piety of Allah, the one Who you are believing in him.

5:89  Allah does not censure you with the chatter in your oaths, but He censures you with what you are knotting of the oaths. So, for its atonement is feeding (Ten) needy persons from the average of what you feed your families, or clothing them, or freeing a slave neck. So, whomever did not find (The means of this) so he shall fast three days. That is atonement for breaking your oaths when you have sworn them. So, keep your oaths. Thus, Allah demonstrates His verses for you, perhaps you may be thankful.

5:90  O you who believed! The intoxicants, the gambling, the idolatry altars, and the divining arrows are only an abomination among Satan’s work. So, avoid them perhaps you may be gaining.

5:91  Satan wants only to occur between you the enmity and the detest in the intoxicants and the gambling, and to hinder you about Allah’s reminder, and about the prayers. So, would you be ending?

5:92  And obey Allah and obey the messenger and be cautious. So, if you turn away So know that upon Our Messenger is only the obvious notification.

5:93  There is no misdemeanor upon those who believed and worked the righteous deeds in what they may have eaten, if they showed the piety of Allah and believed and worked the righteous deeds, then showed the piety and believed, then showed the piety and excelled. And Allah loves the benefactors.

5:94  O you who believed! Allah will try you with a thing among the hunts which your hands and your spears will obtain, that Allah will know whoever fears Him with the unseen. So whoever transgresses after that, so for him is a painful torment.

5:95  O you who believed! Do not kill the hunts while you are in Ihram state. And whoever from you kills it intentionally, so its penalty is an equivalent of that which he has killed from the livestock, judged with it, two just men among you as a gift [to Allah] to be reached to the Ka‘bah. Or atonement of feeding needy persons, or its redemption of that by fasting, so that he may taste the bad consequences of his matter. Allah pardons about what is past. And whoever returned, so Allah will take revenge from him. And Allah is Almighty, possessor of revenge.

5:96  Permitted (halal) for you is the sea hunts, and its food, as enjoyment for you and for the travelers. And forbidden upon you is the land hunts as long as you are in Ihram state. And show the piety of Allah, the one to Him you will be mustering.

5:97  Allah has set up the Ka’bah, the Sacred House, an establishment for the people, and the Sacred Month, and the gifts, and the garlands. That to let you know that Allah knows whatever is in the skies and whatever is on the earth, and surely Allah is Knowledgeable with everything.

5:98  Know that Allah is severe in the punishment, and surely Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.

5:99  None is upon the Messenger except the notification. And Allah knows whatever you are appearing and whatever you are muting.

5:100  Say: “The malignant and the good are not equal, even though the abundance of the malignant may admire you. So, show the piety of Allah, O you who are possessors of the minds, perhaps you may be gaining.”

5:101  O you who believed, do not ask about things which if they appear to you, it will bad you. And if you are asking about them while the Quran is being sent down, it will demonstrate for you. Allah pardoned it. And Allah is Forgiver, A Clement.

5:102  Already, a kinfolk before you have asked about it, then they became with it infidels.

5:103  Allah did not set up Bahirah, or Saibah, or Wasilah, or of Hami; but those who disbelieved slander upon Allah the lies, and most of them are not reasoning.

5:104  And if it is said to them, “Come to what Allah has sent down, and to the Messenger,” they said, “Sufficient for us is what we have found our parents upon it.” Even if their parents were not knowing a thing, nor were guided?

5:105  O you who believed! Upon you is yourselves. Will not harm you who have strayed if you are guided? To Allah is your return altogether; so, He will inform you with what you were working.

5:106  O you who believed! A witnessing between you when death comes to one from you, at the time of the will, two men of just from you or two others among another's (Men) if you are traveling within the earth, so the calamity of death was inflicted against you. You detain them after the prayers, so let them both swear by Allah if you doubt, "We will not purchase with it (Our oath) a price, even if he was possessors of consanguinity, and we will not mute Allah’s witnessing. Surely, then we would be from the sinners."

5:107  So, if it is found that both of them merit a sin, so let two others stand in their stature, from those who have a merit against the two primes, so they swear by Allah, “Our witnessing is more truthful than their witnessing, and we did not transgress. Surely, then we would be from the oppressors.”

5:108  That will be closer to bringing the witnessing upon its face (True), or they fear that their oaths might be returned after their oath. So, show the piety of Allah, and listen. And Allah does not guide the Debauchees kinfolk.

5:109  On a Day when Allah will gather the messengers, so He says, “What answer have you been given?” They said, “No knowledge for us; You are the unseen knower.”

5:110  When Allah said, “O Jesus, Mary’s son, remember My graces upon you and upon your mother, when I supported you with the Holy Spirit, you speak to the people in the crib, and in middle age. And when I taught you the Book and the wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel. And when you create from clay like the bird’s shape, with My permission, So you blow into it, so it becomes a bird, with My permission. And you healed the blind and the leprous, with My permission; and when you exit out the dead with My permission. And when I withheld Israel’s Children about you when you brought them with the proofs. So those who disbelieved among them said, “Surely this is not except an obvious magic.'“

5:111  “And when I revealed to the disciples that: `Believe in Me and in My Messenger.' They said, `We have believed, and You witnessed that We are submitted (Muslims).

5:112  “When the disciples said, 'O Jesus, Mary’s son, is your Lord capable of sending down upon us a table from the sky? He said, 'Show the piety of Allah, if you are believers.'“

5:113  They said, “We want to eat from it, and our cores be tranquil, and know that you already ratified us and we will be upon it among the witnesses.”

5:114  Jesus, Mary’s son said, “O Allah, our Lord, send down upon us a table from the sky, to be a festival for us, for the first of us, and the last of us, and a verse from You; and have livelihood us; You are the Best of the livelihood providers.”

5:115  Allah said, “I will send it down upon you. So, whoever among you disbelieves thereafter, so surely, I will torture him, a torment I have not tortured it a one among the worlds."

5:116  And when Allah said, “O Jesus, Mary’s son, did you say to the people, 'take me and my mother as two Gods without Allah?'. “He said, “Glorified are you! It is not for me to say what I have no right with. If I said it, So you already knew it. You know what is within my soul, and I do not know what is within yourself. Surely You are the unseen’s knower.

5:117  I did not say for them except what you have commanded me with it: that you shall worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness against them as long as I was within them; so, when you deceased me, You were, Yourself the Observer over them, and surely You are over everything, Witness.

5:118  If You torture them, so they are your slaves; and if you forgive for them, you are Al-Aziz (The Almighty), Al-Hakeem (The Wise).”

5:119  Allah has said, “This is a Day the truthful ones will benefit from their truthfulness.” For them are Paradises beneath which the rivers are running, immortals therein forever. Allah is satisfied with them, and they are satisfied with Him. That is The Great Winning.

5:120  For Allah is the sovereignty of the skies and the earth and whatever is within them. And He is over everything competent.
