5:1  O you who believe! Fulfill the contracts. Beasts of the cattle are made lawful for you except those which are rehearsed unto you [as exceptions] and not violating the proscription of hunting while you are in a state of pilgrimage. Truly Allah decrees what He wills.
5:2  O you who believe! Do not violate the rights of Allah nor the sacred month nor the consecrated gifts nor the garlanded animals nor those who are aiming for the sacred house seeking the bounty from their Lord and goodly pleasure. But once you are free from the pilgrimage rituals then hunt and let not the hatred of people incite you to evil doing only because they had barred you from the sacred mosque that you transgress [against them]. And assist one another unto the piety and unto Allah’s reverence and do not assist one another unto impiety and unto transgression and revere Allah. Truly Allah is Severe in chastisement.
5:3  Declared unlawful upon you is the dead-meat and the blood and the flesh of the swine and all the sacrifices which were invoked in other than the name of Allah and the strangled animals and the one beaten to death and the one fallen from high and the one gored to death and the ones eaten by beasts of prey except ones that you have slaughtered [before their death] and all those which are sacrificed on the altars of immolation and that you divide by means of the raffles; all that is a renegation. Today those who disbelieve have lost all hopes about your religion therefore do not defer to them but defer to Me. Today I have perfected your religion for you and I have completed My blessings on you and I have chosen submission to Allah as a religion for you. But whoever is driven by necessity through extreme hunger not through inclination to impiety then truly Allah is Oft-Forgiving, All-merciful.
5:4  They ask you regarding that which has been made lawful for them. Say, “Lawful for you are all the good things and the animals of hunt – as trainers - you teach them from that which Allah has taught you” -; therefore eat from that which they hold onto for you and mention Allah’s name on it and revere Allah. Truly Allah is Swift in reckoning.
5:5  Today all the good things have been made lawful for you and the food of those who were given the scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them and the free women from the believing women and the free women from those who were given the scripture before you when you give them their dowries as chaste men not as fornicators nor as takers of secret lovers and whoever disbelieves in the faith then truly his deed has come to naught while he will be of those who are in loss in the hereafter.
5:6  O you who believe! When you stand for prayer then wash your faces and your hands till the elbow and rub your hands over your heads and wash your feet till your ankles and if you are ritually impure then ritually cleanse yourself. And if you are sick or on a journey or one of you has come from the call of nature or you have intimately touched the women and you do not find water then you should perform dry ablution from a clean sand and rub your face and your hands from it. Allah does not intend to put any restriction on you but He wants to purify you and to complete His blessing on you so that you may offer gratitude.
5:7  And remember blessing of Allah on you and His solemn covenant which He ratified with you when you said, “We hear and we obey” and revere Allah. Truly Allah is All-knowing about the essence of the bosoms.
5:8  O you who believe! Be those who stand for Allah witnesses to the uprightness and let not the hatred of a people incite you to evildoing that you do not act in justice. Act justly that is nearer to Allah’s reverence and revere Allah. Truly Allah is All-acquainted about all that you do.
5:9  Allah has promised those who believe and work the righteous deeds, for them there will be forgiveness and a reward most magnificent.
5:10  As for those who disbelieve and belie Our signs, they are the people of the hellfire.
5:11  O you who believe! Remember blessing of Allah on you when some people resolved to lay their hands on you but He held their hands back from you and revere Allah and let the believers put their trust in Allah.
5:12  And Allah indeed took the solemn covenant from the children of Israel and We raised among them twelve leaders and Allah said, “I indeed am with you as long as you establish the prayer and you give the sanctifying dues and you believe in My messengers and you support them and you give a goodly loan to Allah then surely I will remove from you your evils and I will surely make you enter gardens beneath which the rivers flow.” And whoever disbelieves after that from among you, he indeed has gone astray from the right way.
5:13  Because of their violation of their solemn covenant, We cursed them and We made their hearts hard. They bias the word from its rightful disposition and they forgot a share from that which was given to them as a reminder and you will continue to discover treachery from them except from a few among them but pardon them and turn away in a nicely way. Truly Allah loves those who act in excellence.
5:14  And from those who say, “We are Christians” we took their solemn covenant but they forgot a portion of what they were reminded with so We kindled enmity to rise between them and a rancour till the day of the resurrection and in time Allah will inform them about all that they used to fabricate.
5:15  O people of the scripture! Indeed Our messenger has come unto you. He makes clear for you a lot of that which you used to hide from the scripture and he pardons a lot. Indeed has come to you from Allah a light and a book most evident.
5:16  Allah guides through it whoever follows His good pleasure through the ways of the peace and He takes them out of the darknesses to the light by His leave and He guides them to a way most upright.
5:17  They indeed have disbelieved those who say, “Truly Allah is the Messiah son of Mary” Say, “Who then can prevail with Allah in anything if He intends to destroy the Messiah son of Mary and his mother and whoever is in the earth altogether?” For Allah is the dominion of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them. He creates what He pleases and Allah is All-powerful over everything.
5:18  The Jews and the Christians say, “We are the children of Allah and His beloved ones” Say, “Why then does He punish you for your sins?” Nay! You are but mortal human beings from among others that He has created. He forgives whom He pleases and He punishes whom He pleases and for Allah is the dominion of the heavens and of the earth and what is between them and unto Him is the place of final ending.
5:19  O People of the Scripture! Indeed Our messenger has come unto you making clear for you after an interval of the messengers lest you say, “No bringer of glad tidings came unto us nor any warner” Now indeed has come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a warner and Allah is All-powerful over everything.
5:20  And when Moses said to his people, “O my people! Remember the blessing of Allah upon you when He appointed among you prophets and He appointed among you kings and He gave you what He gave to no one from among the peoples.
5:21  O my people! Enter the sacred land which Allah has ordained for you and do not turn back on your heels, [if you do] then you will return as those in loss.”
5:22  They said, “O Moses! Truly therein are people of giant statures and we will never enter it until they go out from it. And if they go out from it, we surely are then going to enter.”
5:23  Two men said from among those who fear [their Lord] and Allah had blessed them, “Enter upon them through the door for if you enter it, then you surely are going to be the ones who overcome and put your trust in Allah if you indeed are believers.”
5:24  They said, “O Moses! We will never enter it as long as they are there. Therefore go you and your Lord and fight both of you, we are going to be here sitting.”
5:25  He said, “O my Lord! I indeed have claim over no one except myself and my brother, therefore part between us and the people who are the renegades.”
5:26  He said, “Then it is forbidden unto them - forty years - they will wander in the earth” Therefore be not sorrowful for the people who are the renegades.
5:27  And relate unto them by the truth the news of the two sons of Adam when both of them offered an offering but it was accepted from one of them and it was not accepted from the other. He said, “I will surely kill you” He said, “Allah only accepts from those who revere Him.
5:28  If you stretch your hand to me in order for you to kill me, I surely am not going to stretch my hand to you in order for me to kill you. Truly I fear Allah Lord of the worlds.
5:29  I indeed want that you go back with my sin and with your sin so that you become of those who are people of the fire.” And that is the reward of those who wrong their own souls.
5:30  But his ego made killing of his brother look agreeable to him so he killed him thereby he became of those who are in loss.
5:31  So Allah sent a crow digging in the earth to show him how to bury the body of his brother. He said, “Woe unto me. Am I so helpless that I cannot be like this crow so that I can bury the body of my brother?” Thereby he became of those regretful.
5:32  Because of that We wrote on children of Israel that whoever kills a soul without [killing] a soul or without committing corruption in the earth it is as though he had killed the mankind altogether and anyone who gives it life [one soul] it is as though he had given life to the mankind altogether. And indeed Our messengers came unto them with clear signs but lo! Many of them after that surely became those who went on wasting their own souls in the earth.
5:33  The reward of those who make war against Allah and His messenger and propagate corruption in the earth is but to be killed or to be crucified or that their hands and feet to be cut from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That for them is a humiliation in this world and in the hereafter there will be for them a punishment most awful.
5:34  Except those who repent before they come under your power then know that Allah indeed is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
5:35  O you who believe! Revere Allah and seek the mean to Him and strive in His way perhaps you will prosper.
5:36  Truly those who disbelieve, even if all that is in the earth altogether and the like of it with it belonged to them so that they may ransom themselves with it from the punishment of the day of resurrection, it will not be accepted from them and for them there will be a painful punishment.
5:37  They will want to get out from the fire but they surely are not going to get out from it and there will be for them an abiding punishment.
5:38  And the man who steals and the woman who steals, then cut off both the hands of both of them as a just reward for what they have earned and as an exemplary punishment from Allah and Allah is All-mighty, All-wise.
5:39  But as for him who repents after his wrongdoing and makes amends, then truly Allah will accept his repentance. Truly Allah is Oft-Forgiving, All-merciful.
5:40  Do you not know that indeed for Allah is the dominion of the heavens and of the earth. He punishes whom He pleases and He forgives whom He pleases and Allah is All-able over everything.
5:41  O you the messenger! Let not those who hasten to disbelief aggrieve you from among those who say, “We believe” with their mouths but their hearts did not believe and from among those who have adhered to Judaism. Often keenly listening to the lie, often listening to other people who have not come to you. They bias the word from after its right disposition. They say, “If you are given this then take it but if you are not given it then beware” and whoever Allah intends to try with His tribulation, then you will never prevail with Allah in aught for him. Those are the ones whom Allah has not intended to purify their hearts. There is ignominy for them in [the life of] this world and there will be for them in the hereafter a punishment most awful.
5:42  Often listening to the lie, often devouring the illicit gains. So if they come to you then arbitrate between them or turn away from them and if you turn away from them, then they will never harm you in aught but if you arbitrate between them then arbitrate between them with uprightness. Truly Allah loves those who are upright.
5:43  But how can they ask you to arbitrate when with them is the Torah wherein is the judgement of Allah but then they turn away after that, for those are not the believers.
5:44  We have indeed sent down the Torah, in it there is guidance and light. The prophets who have submitted themselves to Allah deliver judgement through it for those who adhere to Judaism and so do the Rabbis and the sages because of what they were entrusted from the book of Allah and they were witnesses over it. Therefore do not defer to men but defer to Me and do not sell My signs for a trifling price and whoever does not judge by that which Allah has sent, then they are the ones who are the disbelievers.
5:45  And We have written therein upon them that the life is for the life and the eye is for the eye and the nose is for the nose and the ear is for the ear and the tooth is for the tooth and the wounds by retribution. But whoever foregoes it as a charity, then that is an absolution for it and whoever does not judge by that which Allah has sent down, then they are the ones who have wronged their own souls.
5:46  And in their wake We sent Jesus son of Mary testifying to that which went before him from the Torah and We gave him the Gospel in it there is a guidance and a light testifying to that which went before it from the Torah and as a guidance and as an admonition for those who guard their own souls.
5:47  So let the people of the Gospel deliver their judgement through that which Allah has sent down in it and whoever does not judge by that which Allah has sent down, then those are the ones who are the renegades.
5:48  Then We sent unto you the book by the truth testifying to that which went before it from the book and superseding above it. Therefore judge between them by that which Allah has sent down and do not follow their vain desires departing from that which has come to you from the truth. For each one of you We have appointed a law and a way and had Allah so willed, He certainly would have made you one nation but it is that He may try you through that which He has given you therefore vie with one another in the good things. Unto Allah is your place of returning altogether and then He will inform you about all that wherein you used to disagree.
5:49  And so do judge between them by that which Allah has sent down and do not follow their vain desires and beware of them lest they cause you tribulation about some of that which Allah has sent down unto you but if they turn away then know that Allah only wants to take them to account for some of their sins and truly many among the human beings are surely renegades.
5:50  Are they seeking the judgment of the era of ignorance? But who is better than Allah in judgment for a people who have certitude.
5:51  O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are allies of one another and whoever from among you takes them as allies, he then is one of them. Truly Allah does not guide the people who wrong their own souls.
5:52  You will see those in whose hearts there is sickness competing with one another for them. They say, “We are wary lest a turn of misfortune befalls us.” But perhaps Allah will bring the victory or a command from His own presence, and then they will become sorrowful over that which they harboured within themselves.
5:53  And then those who believe will say, “Were these not the very ones who swore by Allah with their solemn oath that they indeed were surely with you?” Their deeds have come to naught and they have become those who are in loss.
5:54  O you who believe! Whoever recants his religion from among you, then in time Allah will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him; they are gentle towards the believers and they are firm towards the disbelievers; they strive in the way of Allah and they do not fear the blame of any blamer. That is the favor of Allah, He gives to whom He pleases and Allah is All-encompassing, All-knowing.
5:55  Your allies are but Allah and His messenger and those who believe.. those who establish the prayer and give out the sanctifying dues while they bow down.
5:56  And whoever takes Allah and His messenger and those who believe as allies, then truly the party of Allah are the ones who will overcome.
5:57  O you who believe! Do not take those who take your religion as a matter of jest and sport from among those who were given the scripture before you, and the disbelievers as allies and revere Allah if you are indeed believers.
5:58  And when you call to the prayer, they take it for jest and sport. That is because they are a people who do not understand.
5:59  Say, “O people of the scripture! Do you have grudge from us for other than that we believe in Allah and in that which was sent upon us and in that which was sent before and surely most of you are renegades.”
5:60  Say, “Shall I inform you of that which is worse than this as a reward from Allah?” One that Allah has cursed and is wroth with him and has made from among them the apes and the swine and the votaries of the evil transgressor. Those are worse in station and more misguided from the right way.
5:61  And when they come unto you they say, “We believe” when indeed others have gone in with the disbelief while they came out with it and Allah is All-knowing about all that they used to conceal.
5:62  And you will see many among them racing with one another in impiety and in transgression and in their devouring the illicit gain but surely how woeful is that which they used to do.
5:63  If only the rabbis and the sages would forbid them from their saying words of the impiety and from their devouring of the illicit gains but surely how woeful is that which they used to fabricate.
5:64  And the Jews say, “Allah’s hand is tied.” Their hands are tied and they are cursed for what they say. Nay! Both His hands are wide open. He spends whichever way He pleases but that which has been sent down to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and in disbelief and We have given rise between them to the enmity and the rancour till the day of the resurrection. Whenever they kindle a fire for war, Allah extinguishes it and they strive in the earth spreading corruption and Allah does not love those who spread corruption.
5:65  And if the people of the scripture only believed and revered Allah, then surely We would have rid them of their iniquities and We would surely make them enter into gardens of the bliss.
5:66  And if only they had established the Torah and the Gospel and that which was sent down on them from their Lord, then surely they would eat from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them is a nation which is moderate but many from among them, it is evil what they do.
5:67  O you the messenger! Deliver all that which has been sent down unto you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not delivered His message and Allah will protect you from the mankind and truly Allah does not guide the people who are the disbelievers.
5:68  Say, “O people of the scripture! You are on nothing until you establish the Torah and the Gospel and that which has been sent down unto you from your Lord” and surely that which has been sent unto you from your Lord will increase many among them in transgression and in disbelief so do not sorrow over the people who are the disbelievers.
5:69  Truly those who believe in the entire book and those who have adhered to Judaism and the Sabians and the Christians; whoever believes in Allah and in the last day and works righteous deed, there will be no fear upon them nor will they grieve.
5:70  Indeed We took the solemn covenant from the children of Israel and We sent unto them messengers. Each time a messenger came unto them without something which their souls desire, some of them they belied and some of them they killed.
5:71  And they thought that it will not be a tribulation so they persisted in [their] blindness and deafness then Allah accepted their repentance, then many among them reverted to [their] blindness and deafness and Allah is All-seeing about all that they do.
5:72  Indeed they have disbelieved those who say, “Truly Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary” But the Messiah said, “O children of Israel! Worship Allah, My Lord and your Lord.” Truly whoever ascribes partners to Allah, indeed Allah has forbidden the paradise unto him and his resting place is the fire and there are no helpers for those who wrong their own souls.
5:73  Indeed they have disbelieved those who say, “Truly Allah is third of a three” But there is no deity except one deity and if they do not desist from what they are saying then surely a painful punishment will touch those who disbelieve among them.
5:74  Will they then not repent to Allah and ask forgiveness from Him and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, All-merciful.
5:75  The Messiah son of Mary was no more than a messenger before whom the messengers had passed away and his mother was a true believer. Both of them used to eat the food. Look how We make the signs clear for them but then look how they are turned away.
5:76  Say, “Do you worship besides Allah that which has no power of harm nor benefit for you?” But Allah, He is The All-hearing, The All-knowing.
5:77  Say, “O people of the scripture! Do not be excessive in your religion without the truth and do not follow the vain desires of a people who indeed have gone astray before and they caused many to go astray and they themselves went astray from the right way.”
5:78  Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed on the tongue of David and of Jesus son of Mary. That is because they disobeyed and they used to transgress.
5:79  They did not use to forbid one another from wickedness that they committed. Surely how woeful is all that they used to do.
5:80  You will see many of them allying themselves with those who disbelieved. Surely how woeful is all that their souls have put forth for them that Allah’s anger came upon them and in the punishment they will abide forever.
5:81  And had they truly believed in Allah and in the prophet and in that which was sent down unto him, they would not have taken them as allies but many among them were renegades.
5:82  Surely you will find that of all the people who are most uncompromising in their enmity to those who believe in the entire book are those who adhere to Judaism and those who ascribe partners to Allah and surely you will find that those close in affection to those who believe in the entire book are those who say, “We are Christians.” This is because among them are priests and monks and that they are not given to arrogance.
5:83  And when they hear [the monks and the priests] that which has been sent down unto the messenger [Muhammad], you will see their eyes overflow with the tears because of that which they recognized from the truth. They will say, “O our Lord! We have believed therefore write us among the witnesses.
5:84  What is the matter with us that we should not believe in Allah and in that which has come unto us from the truth when we desire that our Lord should make us enter with the people who are the righteous.”
5:85  So Allah rewarded them for that which they said, with gardens, beneath which the rivers flow to abide therein forever and that is the reward of those who act in excellence.
5:86  As for those who disbelieve and belie Our signs, they are people of the hellfire.
5:87  O you who believe! Do not make unlawful the good things that Allah has made lawful for you and do not transgress. Truly Allah loves not those who are the transgressors.
5:88  And eat from that which Allah has provided for you lawful and good and revere Allah in Whom you are believers.
5:89  Allah does not take you to task for idleness in your oaths but He takes you to task for the oaths that you solemnly pronounce. Therefore its expiation is feeding ten needy ones from the staple diet which you feed your own families or clothing them or freeing a bondsman. But whoever does not find [the means] then let him fast three days. That is expiation of your oaths when you swear and do take care of your oaths. Thus Allah makes clear for you His signs so that you may offer gratitude.
5:90  O you who believe! The intoxicants and the gambling and the erected statues and the raffle through the arrows all are but abomination from the work of Satan. Therefore keep away from it so that perhaps you will prosper.
5:91  All Satan wants is to cause the enmity and the rancour between you through the intoxicants and through the gambling and to hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from the prayer. Will you not then desist?
5:92  And obey Allah and obey the messenger and take your precautions but if you turn away then know that there is nothing on Our messenger except the deliverance the most evident.
5:93  There is no blame on those who believed and worked the righteous deeds with regards to what they ate as long as they revered Allah and believed and worked righteous deeds and then they revered Allah and they believed and then they revered Allah and acted in excellence. And Allah loves those who act in excellence.
5:94  O you who believe! Surely Allah will test you with something from the game which your hands and your weapons might attain so that Allah may mark out who fears Him from the unseen but whoever transgresses after that, for him there will be a painful punishment.
5:95  O you who believe! Do not kill the game while you have consecrated yourself for the pilgrimage. And whoever kills it from among you deliberately, then the penalty will be the like of what he has killed from the cattle decided by two just men among you as a gift to reach the Ka’ba or the expiation of feeding the needy ones or the equivalent of that in fasting so that he may taste the consequence of his affair. Allah has pardoned that which went before but whoever reverts then Allah will exact revenge from him and Allah is All-mighty Master of retribution.
5:96  Game of the sea has been made lawful for you and so is its food as an enjoyment for you and for the traveller. But the game of the land has been made forbidden to you as long as you have consecrated yourself for the pilgrimage and revere Allah unto Whom you shall be gathered.
5:97  Allah has established the holy sanctuary of Ka’ba as a point of reference for the mankind, and the sacred month and the offerings and the garlands [as insignia]. That is so that you may know that Allah knows all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and that Allah is Knower of all things.
5:98  Know you all that Allah indeed is Severe in the chastisement and that Allah indeed is Oft-Forgiving, Most-merciful.
5:99  There is nothing on the messenger except the deliverance of the message and Allah knows all that you reveal and all that you conceal.
5:100  Say, “Not equal are the bad and the good even though the abundance of the bad incite your admiration. So revere Allah, O people of the heart so that perhaps you may prosper.
5:101  O you who believe! Do not ask about certain things which if revealed unto you will cause you consternation but if you ask about it while the Quran is being sent down, then it will be revealed unto you. Thus Allah has pardoned it and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, All-magnanimous.
5:102  Some people before you did ask about them then thereafter they became disbelievers in them.
5:103  Allah has not appointed anything in the nature of a Bahirah or a Sa'ibah or a Wasilah or a Hami (certain kinds of cattle marked out by superstition and set aside from the use of man), but those who disbelieve contrive the lie against Allah and most of them do not understand.
5:104  And when it is said unto them, “Come to what Allah has sent down and [come] to the messenger” They say, “Sufficient for us is that which we found our fathers on” What! Even though their fathers did not know anything nor were they guided?
5:105  O you who believe! Care for your own souls. One who is gone astray will in no way harm you as long as you are on the right guidance. Unto Allah is your place of return altogether. Then He will inform you about all that you used to do.
5:106  O you who believe! Let there be witnessing among you when the death comes unto one of you at the time of the bequests and the witnesses be two from among you who are just or two others from people other than your own when you travel in the land, then the calamity of the death befalls you. Hold back the two of them after the prayer so that the two of them swear by Allah if you are in doubt that we will not sell it [our witnessing] for any price even though it concerns a person of near of kin and we will not hide the witnessing of Allah, [and if we do] then we will surely be of those who are the impious.
5:107  And if it is found later that the two of them had incurred a sin then two others will take their place. Among those over whom the first two were taken in preference, then these latter two will swear by Allah that surely our witnessing is truer than their witnessing and we have not transgressed or else we certainly be one of those who wrong their own souls.
5:108  It is more likely for them to deliver the witnessing in its proper manner or that they may fear that other oaths will be taken after their oaths and revere Allah and listen, for Allah does not guide the people who are the renegades.
5:109  The day Allah will gather the messengers and then He will say, “What were you given as a response?” They will say, “There is no knowledge for us. Truly indeed only You are the Knower of the things hidden.”
5:110  When Allah said, “O Jesus son of Mary! Remember My blessing on you and on your mother when I strengthened you with spirit of the holiness. You spoke to the men in the cradle and also while in a mature age and when I taught you the book, and the wisdom, and the Torah, and the Gospel. And when you used to create from the clay the likeness of the bird by My leave and then you blow into it and it becomes a bird by My leave and you used to heal the born blind and the lepers by My leave and when you used to bring out dead ones by My leave and when I kept the children of Israel from you when you came unto them with clear signs but those who disbelieve from among them said, ‘This is but magic most evident.’
5:111  And when I inspired to the disciples that do believe in Me and in My messenger, they said, ‘We have believed and you bear witness that we are surely those who have submitted [to you].’”
5:112  When the disciples said, “O Jesus son of Mary! Is your Lord able to send down a food bowl on us from the heaven?” He said, “Revere Allah if you indeed are believers.”
5:113  They said, “We want to eat from it and [we want] that our hearts be fully at rest and [we want] to know for certain that you indeed have made true [our good wishes] and [we want] that we may be of those who are the witnesses over it.”
5:114  Jesus son of Mary said, “O Allah our Lord! Send down on us a food bowl from the heaven. It shall be for us a feast for the first of us and the last of us and be a sign from you and provide for us, for you are the best of the providers.”
5:115  Allah said, “I indeed am surely going to send it down on you but whoever disbelieves after that among you then I indeed will punish him a punishment the like of which I will not punish anyone from among the peoples.”
5:116  And when Allah said, “O Jesus son of Mary! Is it you that said to the people ‘take me and my mother as two deities other than Allah’?” He said, “Glory be unto You It is not for me to say anything that is not right for me. If I did say it then You surely know it. You surely know all that is within myself but I do not know what is within Yourself. Truly You only are the Knower of the things hidden.
5:117  I did not tell them except that which You commanded me to ‘that worship Allah my Lord and your Lord’ and I was a witness over them as long as I was among them but when You raised my soul, then You indeed were the All Watchful over them and You are All-witnessing over everything.
5:118  If You punish them then they are indeed Your slaves but if You forgive them, then You are The All-mighty, The All-wise.”
5:119  Allah said, “This is a day when the sincerity of those who are sincere [in their faith] will benefit them.” For them there are gardens beneath which the rivers flow to abide therein forever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him and that is the achievement the most magnificent.
5:120  For Allah is dominion of the heavens and of the earth and of all that is within them and He is All-powerful over everything.
