50:1  Qaf. By the glorious Quran.
50:2  Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner among them; and the disbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing.
50:3  When we are dead and have become dust? That is a far return.'
50:4  Certainly, We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a book guarding.
50:5  Nay, they call the truth a lie when it comes to them, and they are in a confused affair.
50:6  Have they not looked at the heavens above them, how We have built it and adorned it, and it has no gaps?
50:7  And the earth, We have stretched it out and thrown in it firm mountains, and caused to grow therein of every beautiful kind.
50:8  An insight and a reminder to every servant who repents.
50:9  And We sent down from the heaven blessed water, and caused to grow therewith gardens and the harvest grain.
50:10  And the tall palm trees having piled up spathes,
50:11  A provision to servants; and We give life therewith to a dead country. Thus is the resurrection.
50:12  The people of Noah denied before them, and the fellows of Ar Rass and Thamud,
50:13  And 'Ad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot,
50:14  And the fellows of the Grove and the people of Tubba all denied the messengers, so My threat was true.
50:15  Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Nay, they are in doubt about a new creation.
50:16  And certainly We created man, and We know what his soul whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein.
50:17  When the two meeters meet, sitting on the right and on the left,
50:18  Not a word does he utter, but a watcher is by him ready.
50:19  And the intoxication of death shall come in truth. - 'That is what you were shunning.'
50:20  And the horn is blown in, that is the Day of the Threat.
50:21  And every soul shall come - with it a driver and a witness.
50:22  'Certainly you were in heedlessness of this, and We have removed from you your covering, so your sight today is sharp.'
50:23  And his companion said, 'This is what is ready with me.'
50:24  'Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever. -
50:25  Preventer of the good, transgressor, doubter.
50:26  Who set up with God another god; so throw him, you two, into the severe punishment.'
50:27  His companion shall say, 'Our Lord! I did not make him immoderate, but he was in far error.'
50:28  He shall say, 'Do not dispute before Me, and indeed, I sent the threat to you before.
50:29  The sentence is not changed with Me, and I am not unjust to the servants.'
50:30  On the day We will say to Hell, 'Are you full?' And it will say, 'Are there any more?'
50:31  And the Garden shall be brought near to the pious, - not far.
50:32  This is what you are promised, to everyone who is frequent in repenting, who guards;
50:33  Who fears the Merciful in the unseen and comes with a repentant heart.
50:34  'Enter it in peace; that is a Day of Eternity.'
50:35  They shall have what they wish therein, and with Us is more.
50:36  How many a generation have We destroyed before them, they were stronger than them in might. So they explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape?
50:37  Indeed, in that surely is a reminder for whoever has a heart, or gives ear, and is a witness.
50:38  And certainly, We created the heavens and the earth and what is between both of them in six days, and no weariness touched Us.
50:39  So be patient of what they say, and glorify with the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting.
50:40  And of the night glorify Him and following the prostration.
50:41  And listen on the day when the caller shall call from a near place; -
50:42  The day they shall hear the noise in truth - that is the Day of Coming Forth.
50:43  Indeed We, We give life and We cause death, and to Us is the destination.
50:44  On the day when the earth shall be split asunder from them swiftly; - that is a gathering together easy for Us.
50:45  We know best what they say; and you are not over them one to compel. Therefore remind, by the Quran, him who fears the threat.
