55:1  The Compassionate (Allah)
55:2  Who taught the Qur’an
55:3  created ma
55:4  and taught him how to convey his feelings and thoughts
55:5  The sun and the moon move along their computed courses
55:6  The shrubs and the trees prostrate in adoration
55:7  He has raised the heaven on high and created the balance
55:8  don’t ever tamper with this balance
55:9  Therefore, you also establish weight with justice and do not give less measure
55:10  He laid out the earth for His creatures
55:11  with all its fruits and palms having sheathed clusters
55:12  and grain with husk and scented herbs
55:13  So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:14  He created man from sounding clay similar to pottery
55:15  and created jinns from smokeless fire
55:16  So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:17  He is Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests
55:18  So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:19  He has made the two oceans apparently meeting together
55:20  yet between them is a barrier which they cannot cross
55:21  So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:22  He produces pearls and coral from both of them
55:23  So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:24  His are the ships looming up like mountains on the sea
55:25  So, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:26  All that exists on the earth will perish
55:27  but the Face of your Lord will remain full of Majesty and Glory
55:28  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s glories will both of you deny
55:29  All who dwell in the heavens and the earth, implore Him for their needs, every moment He is busy in some mighty task
55:30  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s honors will both of you deny
55:31  O you, the two burdens (jinns and mankind)! Soon We shall find the time to call you to account
55:32  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:33  O you, the assembly of jinns and men! If you have the power to get away from the boundaries of the heavens and the earth (to escape from His punishment), then get away! You cannot get away except with Our Own authority
55:34  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s authorities will both of you deny
55:35  The flames of fire and molten brass will be unleashed on you both, jinn and men, and you will not be able to defend yourselves
55:36  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:37  When the heaven will burst and will become red like red hide
55:38  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:39  On that Day neither man nor jinn will need be asked about his sins
55:40  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:41  Because the sinners will be recognized by their faces and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet
55:42  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:43  It will be said to them: "This is the hell which the culprits denied."
55:44  They shall wander to and fro between fire and hot boiling water
55:45  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s warnings will both of you deny
55:46  For those who fear the time when they will have to stand before their Lord there are two gardens
55:47  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:48  Having shady trees with lush green branches
55:49  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:50  Each of them will be watered by two flowing springs
55:51  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:52  In both of them there will be two pairs of every fruit
55:53  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:54  They will recline on couches upholstered with rich brocade while the fruit of the gardens will be within their easy reach
55:55  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:56  Therein will be bashful virgins, whom neither any man nor jinn has touched before
55:57  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:58  So beautiful as though they were rubies and corals
55:59  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:60  Could the reward for goodness be anything but goodness
55:61  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:62  And besides these two there shall be two other gardens
55:63  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:64  Densely shaded with dark green trees
55:65  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:66  In both of them there will be two gushing springs
55:67  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:68  Each planted with fruit trees, dates and pomegranates
55:69  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:70  In each of them, there will be chaste and beautiful virgins
55:71  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:72  Huris (beautiful damsels) sheltered in their tents
55:73  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:74  Whom neither man nor Jinn has ever touched before
55:75  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:76  Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets
55:77  Then, O jinn and men, which of your Lord’s favors will both of you deny
55:78  Blessed be the name of your Lord, His Majesty and His Honor
