76:1  Was there not a time in history when man was nothing to be mentioned?
76:2  We created man from a drop of mingled fluid, to test him, and We endowed him with hearing and sight.
76:3  We guided him on the path, be he grateful or ungrateful.
76:4  For the unbelievers, We prepared chains, shackles, and a blazing inferno.
76:5  The righteous will drink from a cup whose mixture is camphor.
76:6  A spring from which the servants of God will drink, causing it to gush abundantly.
76:7  They fulfill their vows and dread a Day whose evil would be widespread.
76:8  They feed, for the love of Him, the destitute, the orphan, and the captive.
76:9  “We feed you only for the sake of God; we desire neither compensation nor thanks from you.
76:10  We fear from our Lord a frowning, grim Day.”
76:11  So, God will protect them from the woes of that Day and grant them radiance and happiness.
76:12  And He will reward them, for being patient, with a garden and silk.
76:13  Reclining therein on adorned couches, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor severe cold.
76:14  Its shade hovering over them, with its fruit clusters hanging low.
76:15  They will be served from vessels of silver and crystal-clear cups.
76:16  Silver cups, they measure them precisely.
76:17  They will be given to drink a drink mixed with ginger.
76:18  From a spring therein named Salsabil.
76:19  And there will circulate among them eternalized boys, when you see them, you would think they are scattered pearls.
76:20  When you look around, you will see bliss and a vast kingdom.
76:21  Upon them will be garments of fine, green silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will give them a pure drink.
76:22  “This is your reward. And your endeavor has been appreciated.”
76:23  It is We who revealed the Quran to you gradually.
76:24  So be patient for your Lord’s judgment, and obey neither the sinner nor the ungrateful among them.
76:25  And remember the name of your Lord morning and evening.
76:26  And during the night, prostrate yourself to Him, and glorify Him long into the night.
76:27  These people love the fleeting life, and they leave behind a heavy day.
76:28  We created them and strengthened their frames. And when We will, We will replace them with others like them.
76:29  This is a reminder. So, whoever wills, may take a path to his Lord.
76:30  But you cannot will, unless God wills. God is Ever-Knowing and Wise.
76:31  He admits into His mercy whom He wills. But for the evildoers, He prepared a severe punishment.
