75:1  Nay, I swear by the ‘Day of Resurrection’!
75:2  Nay! I swear by the reproachful- ‘Human Self’
75:3  Does man think that We are incapable of constructing his bones?
75:4  Yes indeed; We are capable of shaping again his own fingertips.
75:5  But man desires to continue in sin.
75:6  He asks: "When will be the ‘Day of Resurrection’?"
75:7  When the vision will be dazzled,
75:8  And the moon will be eclipsed,
75:9  And the sun and the moon will be brought together,
75:10  Man will say on that day: "Whither to flee?"
75:11  Nay, there will be no refuge.
75:12  Unto your Lord that day is the refuge.
75:13  Man will be informed, on that day, of what He has sent forward, and of what he left behind.
75:14  Nay, man is an intelligible evidence against himself,
75:15  Even if he offers his excuses.
75:16  (O' ‘Muhammad’), move not your tongue concerning (the ‘Qurʾān’) to make haste therewith.
75:17  It is incumbent on Us to collect and to promulgate it.
75:18  When We recite it, follow its recitation attentively.
75:19  Afterwards, It will be incumbent on Us to explain it to you.
75:20  Nay, indeed, but you are in love with this transient life,
75:21  (75:21)
75:22  Faces on that day will be glowing brightly,
75:23  Looking steadily and intently on their Lord!
75:24  Faces on that day will be gloomy,
75:25  Thinking that a crushing calamity is about to fall on them.
75:26  Nay, but when the soul comes up into the throat,
75:27  There will be a cry: “ Where is the enchanter who can save him”.
75:28  Then man will come to know that it is time to leave.
75:29  Leg is intertwined with (other) leg.
75:30  Unto your Lord on that day will be the driving (of the souls) .
75:31  Neither did he acknowledge (the Truth), nor did he pray.
75:32  But in fact, he gave no credence to (the ‘Qur’ān’), and took no heed.
75:33  Then he went to his family, walking with a haughty look.
75:34  Woe unto you and woe unto you!
75:35  Again woe unto you and woe unto you!
75:36  Does man think that he will be left without purpose?
75:37  Was he not a semen-drop, which was emitted?
75:38  Afterwards he became a clinging substance; and Allâh formed and molded him,
75:39  And made of him pairs, male and female.
75:40  Is not He then capable of bringing the dead back to life?.
