45:1  Ha.Mim.

45:2  The revelation of the Book is from God, the Mighty, the Wise.

45:3  Indeed, in the heavens and the earth surely are signs for the believers;

45:4  And in your creation and what He disperses of creature, are signs for people who are sure;

45:5  And the alternation of the night and the day, and what God sent down from the heaven of provision, then with it He gives life to the earth after its death, and the veering of the winds are signs for people who are intelligent.

45:6  Those are the signs of God We recite them to you in truth; so in what story after God and His signs will they believe?

45:7  Woe to every sinful liar,

45:8  He hears the signs of God recited to him, then he persists proudly as if he did not hear them, so give him glad tidings of painful punishment.

45:9  And when he knows anything of Our signs, he takes it in mockery. Those, for them is shameful punishment,

45:10  Behind them is Hell, and what they earned will not avail them anything, nor what they took as patrons besides God; and for them is great punishment.

45:11  This is guidance. and those who disbelieved in the signs of their Lord, for them is a painful punishment of a plague.

45:12  God is the one who subjected to you the sea that the ships may sail in it by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and perhaps you may give thanks.

45:13  And He subjected to you what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, all together, from Him; indeed, in that surely are signs for people who think.

45:14  Say to those who believed that they should forgive those who do not hope for the days of God, that He may recompense people for what they used to earn.

45:15  He who did good works, then for his soul, and he who did evil, then against it; then to your Lord you will be returned.

45:16  And surely, certainly We gave the children of Israel the Book and the judgment and the prophethood, and We provided them of the good things, and We favoured them over the worlds.

45:17  And We gave them clear proofs of the affair, and they disagreed not except after the knowledge came to them, envy between them. Indeed, your Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that in which they were disagreeing.

45:18  Then We put you upon a law of the affair; so follow it, and do not follow the lusts of those who do not know.

45:19  Indeed they, they will not avail you anything against God; and indeed, the wrongdoers, some of them are patrons of some; and God is the patron of those who fear.

45:20  This is an insight for mankind and guidance and mercy for people who are sure.

45:21  Or those who committed evil deeds thought that We would make them like those who believed and did good works, equal in their life and their death? Evil is what they judge.

45:22  And God created the heavens and the earth in truth; and that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.

45:23  So have you seen he who took his lust for his god, and God made him go astray upon knowledge, and He set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, and He put a covering upon his eye? Then who will guide him after God? Then will you not remember?

45:24  And they said, 'It is not except our worldly life, we die and we live, and nothing destroys us except time.' And they have no knowledge of that; they do not except guess.

45:25  And when Our signs are recited to them, clear proofs, their argument is not except that they say, 'Come with our forefathers, if you are truthful.'

45:26  Say, 'God gives you life, then He causes you to die, then He will gather you to the Day of Resurrection.’ There is no doubt concerning it; but most of mankind do not know.

45:27  And for God is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and on the day the Hour will stand, on that day the vain-doers will lose.

45:28  And you will see every nation kneeling, every nation will be called to its book, 'Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.'

45:29  This Our Book speaks to you in truth; indeed We, We used to transcribe what you used to do.

45:30  Then as for those who believed and did good works, then their Lord will make them enter into His mercy; that, it is the clear success.

45:31  And as for those who disbelieved, then were My signs not recited to you and you were proud and you were sinful people?

45:32  And when it was said, 'Indeed, the promise of God is true, and the Hour there is no doubt concerning it;' you said, 'We do not know what the Hour is, we think not except guess, and we are not sure.'

45:33  And the evils of what they did will appear to them, and what they used to mock at will surround them.

45:34  And it will be said, 'Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this your day, and your abode is the fire, and there are no helpers for you.

45:35  That is because you took the signs of God in mockery and the worldly life deceived you.' So today they will not be brought forth from it, and they, they will not be regarded with favour.

45:36  So for God is the praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds.

45:37  And for Him is the greatness in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
