Transliteration-2
sayaqūlu laka l-mukhalafūna mina l-aʿrābi shaghalatnā amwālunā wa-ahlūnā fa-is'taghfir lanā yaqūlūna bi-alsinatihim mā laysa fī qulūbihim qul faman yamliku lakum mina l-lahi shayan in arāda bikum ḍarran aw arāda bikum nafʿan bal kāna l-lahu bimā taʿmalūna khabīra
Will say to you those who remained behind of the Bedouins, "Kept us busy our properties and our families, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, "Then who has power for you against Allah (in) anything, if He intends for you harm or He intends for you a benefit? Nay, is Allah of what you do All-Aware.

Those of the bedouin who stayed behind will say unto thee: “[The need to take care of] our chattels and our families kept us busy: do then, [O Prophet,] ask God to forgive us!” [Thus,] they will utter with their tongues something that is not in their hearts. Say: “Who, then, has it in his power to avert from you aught that God may have willed, whether it be His will to harm you or to confer a benefit on you? Nay, but God is fully aware of what you do
Those of the wandering Arabs who were left behind will tell thee: Our possessions and our households occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us! They speak with their tongues that which is not in their hearts. Say: Who can avail you aught against Allah, if He intend you hurt or intend you profit? Nay, but Allah is ever Aware of what ye do
The desert Arabs who lagged behind will say to thee: "We were engaged in (looking after) our flocks and herds, and our families: do thou then ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: "Who then has any power at all (to intervene) on your behalf with Allah, if His Will is to give you some loss or to give you some profit? But Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do

The ones who are left behind will say to thee among the nomads: Our property and our people occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us. They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: Who, then, has sway over you against God at all if He wanted to harm you or wanted to bring you profit? Nay! God had been aware of what you do.
Those desert Arabs who have held back will tell you: "Our property and our families have kept us busy. Seek forgiveness for us!" They say something with their tongues that is not in their hearts. SAY: "Who controls anything for you against God, if He should want to cause you any harm, or wants to offer you some advantage? Rather God is Informed about whatever you are doing!
The nomadic Arabs, who stayed behind, will say to you ˹O Prophet˺, “We were preoccupied with our wealth and families, so ask for forgiveness for us.” They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, “Who then can stand between you and Allah in any way, if He intends harm or benefit for you? In fact, Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
The Dessert-Arabs who stayed behind [when you went to battle] will say to you, "We were preoccupied with our properties and our families, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, "If God intended harm for you or intended benefit, who can intervene for you? God is fully aware of what you do.
Those of the Bedouins who stayed behind will say to you: “Our possessions and our families occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us.” They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. The desert Arabs who stayed behind will say to you, ‘We were busy with our property and our families: ask forgiveness for us,’ but they say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, ‘Whether it is God’s will to do you harm or good, who can intervene for you?’ No! God is fully aware of everything you [people] do
Those who lagged behind of the desert Arabs Will presently say Unto thee: our properties and our households kept us occupied, so ask thou forgiveness for Us. Those of the Bedouins (dwellers of the desert) who (did not respond to your call to participate in the Minor Pilgrimage Campaign and) stayed behind will say to you (by way of excuse): "Our possessions and families kept us busy, so ask God for our forgiveness." They speak with their tongues that which is not in their hearts. Say (to them): "Who is there that can intervene on your behalf with God if He wills harm for you or if He wills a benefit for you? (Whatever excuse you offer, bear in mind that) God is fully aware of all that you do."
The Bedouins who were left behind will tell you, ‘Our possessions and our families kept us occupied. So plead [to Allah] for our forgiveness!’ They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, ‘Who can be of any avail to you against Allah, should He desire to cause you harm or desire to bring you benefit? Rather Allah is well aware of what you do.&rsquo

The bedouins who lag behind in taking part in the battle say to you, "Ask forgiveness for us; we were busy with our property and household." They speak what is not in their hearts. (Muhammad), tell them, "Who will help you against God, if He intends to harm you, who will prevent Him from benefitting you? In fact, God is Well Aware of whatever you do"

Those bedouins [nomadic Arabs staying in small oases in the desert and not in cities like Makkah and Medina] who remained behind [and did not accompany the Prophet in his mission] will say to you [Prophet], "Our properties and our families kept us engrossed, so seek Allah's forgiveness for us." They will say with their tongues what is not in their minds. Say, "Who then can intervene in the least on your behalf with Allah, if He wills to inflict any harm on you, or to give you any benefit? Allah is but well aware of all that you do."

Say, "Who can protect you from GOD, if He willed any adversity for you, or if He willed any blessing for you?" GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.

So ask forgiveness for us from Allah.’ They utter such (words) with their tongues that are not in their hearts. Say: ‘Who has the power to save you against (the decision) of Allah if He intends to do you harm, or if He intends to do you good? But Allah is Well Aware of what you do

Mark well. O Muhammad what the stay-at-home desert Arabs will say to you: " We were unable to be part of your expedition and join battle (if there is any) on account of our constant attention to our commercial transactions and to our families, and we seek your help in invoking Allah': forgiveness on our behalf". They speak with their tongues in their cheeks and what they utter and what their hearts forge do not together accord. Say) to them: " who is he who has power to restrain Allah from a contemplated action and prevent the coming-on of a calamity or of prosperity? But indeed Allah has been well acquainted with what you were doing"
Those of the desert Arabs who were left behind will say to you, “Our wealth and our people kept us occupied, so seek protective forgiveness for us.” They say with their tongues that which is not in their hearts. Say, “Then who can control anything for you against Allah, if He intends to harm you or intends to benefit you? No, Allah is informed of that which you do.”
