Indeed We, We sent Noah to his people that, 'Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment!'
71:2
He said, 'O my people! indeed, I am to you a clear warner,

That serve God and fear Him and obey me.
71:4
He will forgive you of your sins, and will defer you to a named term; Indeed, the term of God when it comes will not be deferred, if you know.'
71:5
He said, 'My Lord! Indeed I, I called my people night and day,
71:6
And my call increases them not except in fleeing.
71:7
And indeed I, every time I called them that You may forgive them, they placed their fingers in their ears and covered themselves with their garments and persisted and were proud, being haughty.
71:8
Then indeed I, I called them loudly,
71:9
Then indeed I, I published to them and I spoke secretly to them, concealing.
71:10
And I said, "Ask your Lord for forgiveness; indeed, He is very forgiving.
71:11
He will send the sky upon you pouring abundantly,
71:12
And He will extend you with wealth and children and He will make for you gardens and He will make for you rivers.
71:13
What ails you, you hope not to God for gravity?
71:14
And certainly, He created you in stages.
71:15
Do you not see how God created seven heavens one above another,
71:16
And He made the moon in them, a light, and He made the sun, a lamp?
71:17
And God made you grow from the earth, plants.
71:18
Then He will return you into it and He will bring you forth, an expelling.
71:19
And God made for you the earth, a carpet,
71:20
That you may go along of it in wide ways."'
71:21
Noah said, 'My Lord! Indeed, they have rebelled against me and followed him whose wealth and child did not increase him except in loss,
71:22
And they have plotted a great plot,
71:23
And they said, "Do not leave your gods, and do not leave Wadd nor Suwa nor Yaghuth and Yauq and Nasr."
71:24
And certainly, they have led astray many. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in error.'
71:25
Because of their sins they were drowned and made to enter fire; and they did not find helpers for them besides God.
71:26
And Noah said, 'My Lord! Do not leave upon the earth an inhabitant of the disbelievers.
71:27
Indeed You, if You leave them, they will lead astray Your servants and they will not beget except a liar, a disbeliever.
71:28
My Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and whoever entered my house a believer, and the believers, men and women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.'
