| Arabic | | وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ الرَّسُولَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ الْهُدَىٰ وَيَتَّبِعْ غَيْرَ سَبِيلِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ نُوَلِّهِ مَا تَوَلَّىٰ وَنُصْلِهِ جَهَنَّمَ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرً |  |

| And whoever | | waman | | وَمَنْ | | م ن | |
| opposes | | yushāqiqi | | يُشَاقِقِ | | ش ق ق | |
| the Messenger | | l-rasūla | | الرَّسُولَ | | ر س ل | |
| (has) become clear | | tabayyana | | تَبَيَّنَ | | ب ى ن | |
| (of) the guidance, | | l-hudā | | الْهُدَى | | ه د ى | |
| and he follows | | wayattabiʿ | | وَيَتَّبِعْ | | ت ب ع | |
| other than | | ghayra | | غَيْرَ | | غ ى ر | |
| (the) way | | sabīli | | سَبِيلِ | | س ب ل | |
| (of) the believers, | | l-mu'minīna | | الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | | ا م ن | |
| We will turn him | | nuwallihi | | نُوَلِّهِ | | و ل ى | |
| he (has) turned | | tawallā | | تَوَلَّى | | و ل ى | |
| and We will burn him | | wanuṣ'lihi | | وَنُصْلِهِ | | ص ل ى | |
| and evil it is | | wasāat | | وَسَاءَتْ | | س و ء | |
| (as) a destination. | | maṣīran | | مَصِيرًا | | ص ى ر | |
