| Arabic | | قُلْ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَالْإِثْمَ وَالْبَغْيَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَأَن تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَأَن تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُون |  |

| [the] right, | l-ḥaqi | الْحَقِّ | ح ق ق | |
| you associate (others) | tush'rikū | تُشْرِكُوا | ش ر ك | |
| with Allah | bil-lahi | بِاللَّهِ | ا ل ه | |
| He (has) sent down | yunazzil | يُنَزِّلْ | ن ز ل | |
| any authority, | sul'ṭānan | سُلْطَانًا | س ل ط | |
| you say | taqūlū | تَقُولُوا | ق و ل | |
| (do) you know?" | taʿlamūna | تَعْلَمُونَ | ع ل م | |
