Arabic قَالَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ رَبَّنَا هَٰؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَغْوَيْنَا أَغْوَيْنَاهُمْ كَمَا غَوَيْنَا تَبَرَّأْنَا إِلَيْكَ مَا كَانُوا إِيَّانَا يَعْبُدُون zoom
Transliteration Qala allatheena haqqa AAalayhimu alqawlu rabbana haola-i allatheena aghwayna aghwaynahum kama ghawayna tabarra/na ilayka ma kanoo iyyana yaAAbudoona zoom
Transliteration-2 qāla alladhīna ḥaqqa ʿalayhimu l-qawlu rabbanā hāulāi alladhīna aghwaynā aghwaynāhum kamā ghawaynā tabarranā ilayka mā kānū iyyānā yaʿbudūn zoom

Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad [whereupon] they against whom the word [of truth] shall thus stand revealed will exclaim: O our Sustainer! Those whom we caused to err so grievously, we but caused to err as we ourselves had been erring. We [now] disavow them before Thee: it was not us that they worshipped!&rdquo zoom
