Transliteration-2
wa-idhā tut'lā ʿalayhim āyātunā bayyinātin qāla alladhīna lā yarjūna liqāanā i'ti biqur'ānin ghayri hādhā aw baddil'hu qul mā yakūnu lī an ubaddilahu min til'qāi nafsī in attabiʿu illā mā yūḥā ilayya innī akhāfu in ʿaṣaytu rabbī ʿadhāba yawmin ʿaẓīmi
And when are recited to them Our Verses (as) clear proofs said those who (do) not hope (for the) meeting (with) Us, "Bring us a Quran other (than) this or change it." Say, "Not (it) is for me that I change it of accord my own Not I follow except what is revealed to me. Indeed, I [I] fear if I were to disobey my Lord, (the) punishment (of) a Day Great."

AND [thus it is:] whenever Our messages are conveyed unto them in all their clarity, those who do not believe that they are destined to meet Us [are wont to] say, "Bring us a discourse other than this, or alter this one.” Say [O Prophet]: "It is not conceivable that I should alter it of my own volition; I only follow what is revealed to me. Behold, I would dread, were I [thus] to rebel against my Sustainer, the suffering [which would befall me] on that awesome Day [of Judgment]!"
And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, they who look not for the meeting with Us say: Bring a Lecture other than this, or change it. Say (O Muhammad): It is not for me to change it of my accord. I only follow that which is inspired in me. Lo! if I disobey my Lord I fear the retribution of an awful Day
But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come)."
And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who hope not for Our meeting say: Bring a Quran other than this or change it. Say: It does not beseem me that I should change it of myself; I follow naught but what is revealed to me; surely I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the punishment of a mighty day
When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who do not expect to meet Us say, Bring us a different Quran, or make some changes in it. Say, It is not for me to change it of my own accord. I follow only what is revealed to me. I fear, if I were to disobey my Lord, the punishment on a Dreadful Day
And when are recounted to them Our signs, clear portents, those who hope not for their meeting with Us said: Bring us a Recitation other than this or substitute it. Say: It be not possible for me to substitute it of my own accord. I follow nothing but what is revealed to me. Truly, I fear if I rebelled against my Lord a punishment on the tremendous Day.
When Our clear signs are recited to those who do not expect to meet Us, they say: "Bring some other Reading than this, or else change it!" SAY: "It is not up to me to change it of my own accord, because of whatever I may encounter in it on my own. I merely follow what is inspired in me. I fear torment on an awful day if I should disobey my Lord!"
When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who do not expect to meet Us say ˹to the Prophet˺, “Bring us a different Quran or make some changes in it.” Say ˹to them˺, “It is not for me to change it on my own. I only follow what is revealed to me. I fear, if I were to disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day.”
Whenever Our messages are clearly conveyed to them, those who do not believe that they are destined to meet Us will say, "Bring us a different Qur'an, or change it." Say [Prophet], "It is not up to me to change it of my own accord; I follow only what is revealed to me. I fear the punishment of that Monumental Day [of Judgment] if I were to disobey my Lord."
And when Our clear Verses are recited to them, those who don’t hope for their meeting with Us, say: “Bring us a Qur’an other than this, or change it.” Say (O Muhammad): “It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow that which is revealed to me. Surely, I fear if I were to disobey my Lord, the punishment of the Great Day (of Resurrection).”
And when Our signs are recited unto them as clear proofs, those who anticipate not the meeting with Us say, “Bring a Quran other than this, or alter it.” Say, “It is not for me to alter it of my own accord. I follow only that which is revealed unto me. Truly I fear, should I disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous day.
And when Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who do not wish to meet Us said: "Bring a Quran other than this, or change it!" Say: "It is not for me to change it from my own accord, I merely follow what is inspired to me. I fear if I disobey my Lord the retribution of a great day!"

And whenever Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who hope not for the meeting with Us, say: bring us a Qur'an other than this, or change it. Say thou: it lieth not with me to change it of my own accord; I only follow that which is Revealed unto me; verily I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the torment of the Mighty Day
When Our clear messages are recited to them, those who do not hope to meet Us, say: "Bring a different Qur'an, or make amendments to this one." Say: "It is not for me to change it of my will. I follow (only) what is revealed to me. If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of an awful Day."
When Our Clear Signs are recited to them, those who do not expect to meet Us say, ´Bring a Qur´an other than this one or change it.´ Say: ´It is not for me to change it of my own accord. I follow nothing except what is revealed to me. I fear, were I to disobey my Lord, the punishment of a Dreadful Day.´
When Our Revelations, clear as evidence and in meaning are recited (and conveyed) to them, those who have no expectations to meet Us say (in response to Our Messenger): "Either bring a Qur’an other than this or alter it." Say: "It is not for me to alter it of my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed I fear, if I should rebel against my Lord, the punishment of an Awful Day."
When Our manifest signs are recited to them, those who do not expect to encounter Us say, ‘Bring a Qur’an other than this, or alter it.’ Say, ‘I may not alter it of my own accord. I follow only what is revealed to me. Indeed should I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a tremendous day.&rsquo
But when Our evident Signs (revelations) are recited to them, those who expect not the meeting with Us say, "Bring a Lecture (Quran) other than this; or change it." Say, "It is not for me to, change it of my own accord; I do not follow aug
And when Our Supremely evident ayat (Signs, verses) are recited to them, the ones who do not hope for meeting with Us say, "Come up with a Qur'an other than this or exchange it." Say, "In no way (can) I exchange it of my own accord. Decidedly I closely follow (nothing) except what is revealed to me. Surely I fear, in case I disobey my Lord, the torment of a tremendous Day."
Whenever Our authoritative revelations are recited to those who do not wish to meet Us in the life hereafter, say, "Bring us another book besides this one or change it." (Muhammad), tell them, "I can not change it myself. I only follow what is revealed to me. I fear that for disobeying my Lord I shall be punished on the great (Day of Judgment)
When Our verses are recited to them in all their clarity, say those who do not believe in meeting Us, .Bring a Qur‘an other than this, or make changes in it (to suit our fancies). Say, .It is not possible for me to make changes in it on my own. I follow nothing but what is revealed to me. If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a terrible day
When Our Messages are conveyed to them in all clarity, those who hope not that they are destined to meet with Us, (want to strike a deal with the Messenger). And when Our Clear Signs (verses) are rehearsed on them, those who do not keep their hope on their meeting with Us, say: "Bring to us a Quran other than this, or change this," say: "It is not for me, to change it by myself: I follow nothing except what is made known to me: If I was to disobey my Lord, I should fear the penalty of a Great Day."
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Bring us a Qur'an other than this or change it." Say, [O Muhammad], "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."
When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who entertain no hope of meeting Us say to you: "Bring us a Qur’an different than this or make some changes in it." O Muhammad, tell them: "It is not possible for me to change it myself. I follow only what is revealed to me. Indeed, I cannot disobey my Lord, for I fear the punishment of a Mighty Day."

Those not expecting to meet Us (after death), listen to the unambiguous verses recited to them and they say, "Bring us a different Qur´an or at least change it!" And when Our clear Verses are recited to them, those who expect not to meet Us, say, "Bring a Qur'aan other than this, or change it." Say, "I cannot change it on my own initiative. I follow naught but what is revealed to me. I do indeed fear the punishment of a great Day, if I disobey my Lord."

When My straight forward commandments are communicated to them, those (who do not believe that they will meet Me one day) say: “Why do you not fabricate another Qur’an and put in it such and such things to please us?” Answer: “I have not fabricated this Qur’an so that I may re-write it. I do not follow nothing but what is revealed to me. Indeed I am afraid of disobeying my Lord’s commandments and be sentenced to a punishment on the most awesome Day.&rdquo

When Our revelations are recited to them -to the idolaters- emitting thoughts of piety and divine enlightenment, they react with revulsion of feeling and they insolently say: "Bring a Quran different from this or substitute the words We do not like for others to our taste" Say to them O Muhammad "it is not within my power to make changes of my own accord; I only follow all that is inspired to me, nor do I dare to disobey Allah, my Creator, for the penalty shall be the torment that is suffered on a Momentous Day"
And when Our clear communications are read to them, those who do not hope to meet Us say, “Bring a Quran other than this or change it.” Say, “It is not for me to change it of my own accord, I follow nothing except that which is communicated to me, I certainly fear the punishment of the great day, if I disobey my Fosterer.”
