General Root Meaning
made/produce fire, allude to equivocally/ambigiously, meant such a thing pretended another, hide/conceal/cover, behind a thing covering/concealing, aider/follower, The Book of The Law (revealed to Moses).
Wuuriya (pp. 3rd. p. m. sing. III.): Had been hidden; Was unperceptive.
Yuwaarii (imp. 3rd. p. m. sing. III.): Hides; Conceals.
Uwaarii (imp. 1st. p. sing. III.): Tawaarat (prf. 3rd. p. f. sing. IV.): Disappeared.
Yatawaaraa (imp. 3rd. p. m. sing. VI.): He hides himself.
Waraa (imp. 2nd. p. m. plu.): Ye strike out; kindle.
Muuriyaat (ap-der. m. plu. IV.): The strikers (of fire).
Tuuruun (imp. 2nd. p. m. plu.) : Ye strike out.
   tawārat   (1)

And he said, "Indeed, I [I] preferred (the) love (of) the good over (the) remembrance (of) my Lord." Until they were hidden in the veil;

   tūrūna   (1)

Do you see the Fire, which you ignite?

   fa-uwāriya   (1)

Then sent Allah a crow, it (was) scratching in the earth to show him how to hide (the) dead body (of) his brother. He said, "Woe to me! Am I unable that I can be like this [the] crow and hide (the) dead body (of) my brother?" Then he became of the regretful.

   fal-mūriyāti   (1)

And the producers of sparks, striking

   warāa   (3)

And (prohibited are) the ones of the women except whom you possess rightfully. Decree (of) Allah upon you. And are lawful to you what (is) beyond that; that you seek with your wealth desiring to be chaste not (to be) lustful. So what you benefit[ed] of it from them, so you give them their bridal due (as) an obligation. And (there is) no sin on you concerning what you mutually agree of it from beyond the obligation. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

And when came to them a Messenger (of) from Allah confirming what (was) with them, threw away a party of those who were given the Book (the) Book (of) Allah behind their backs as if they (do) not know.

And when took Allah a Covenant (from) those who were given the Book, "You certainly make it clear to the mankind and (do) not conceal it. Then they threw it behind their backs and they exchanged [with] it (for) a price little. And wretched (is) what they purchase.

And certainly you have come to Us alone as We created you (the) first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed (on) you behind your backs. And not We see with you your intercessors those whom you claimed that they (were) in your (matters) partners (with Allah). Indeed, have been severed (bonds) between you and is lost from you what you used to claim."

But as for (him) who is given his record behind his back,

Then whoever seeks beyond that then those [they] (are) the transgressors.

But whoever seeks beyond that, then those [they] (are) the transgressors -

   warāi   (2)

And his wife (was) standing and she laughed. Then We gave her glad tidings of Ishaq, and from after Ishaq (of) Yaqub.

O you who believe! (Do) not enter (the) houses (of) the Prophet except when permission is given to you for a meal, without awaiting its preparation. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, then disperse and not seeking to remain for a conversation. Indeed, that was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of (dismissing) you. But Allah not is shy of the truth. And when you ask them (for) anything then ask them from behind a screen. That (is) purer for your hearts and their hearts. And not is for you that you trouble (the) Messenger (of) Allah and not that you should marry his wives from after him, ever. Indeed, that is near Allah an enormity.

And not is for any human that should speak to him Allah except (by) revelation or from behind a veil or (by) sending a messenger then he reveals by His permission what He wills. Indeed, He (is) Most High, Most Wise.

Indeed, those who call you from behind the private chambers, most of them (do) not understand.

Not they will fight you all except in towns fortified or from behind walls. Their violence among themselves (is) severe. You think they (are) united, but their hearts (are) divided. That (is) because they (are) a people, not they reason.

   warāakum   (2)

(On the) Day will say the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women to those who believed, "Wait for us, we may acquire of your light." It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light." Then will be put up between them a wall, for it a gate its interior, in it (is) mercy but its exterior, from facing towards [it] the punishment.

He said, "O my people! Is my family mightier on you than Allah? And you have taken Him, behind your backs. Indeed, my Lord of what you do (is) All-Encompassing.

   warāikum   (1)

And when you are among them and you lead for them the prayer, then let stand a group of them with you and let them take their arms. Then when they have prostrated, then let them be from behind you and let come (forward) a group - other, (which has) not prayed, and let them pray with you and let them take their precautions and their arms. Wished those who disbelieved if you neglect [about] your arms and your baggage so (that) they (can) assault [upon] you (in) an attack, single. But (there is) no blame upon you if was with you any trouble (because) of rain or you are sick that you lay down your arms, but take your precautions. Indeed, Allah has prepared for the disbelievers a punishment humiliating.

   warāahu   (1)

And when it is said to them, "Believe in what has revealed Allah," they say, "We believe in what was revealed to us." And they disbelieve in what (is) besides it, while it (is) the truth confirming what (is) with them. Say, "Then why (did) you kill (the) Prophets (of) Allah from before, if you were believers?"

   warāihi   (1)

From ahead of him (is) Hell, and he will be made to drink of water purulent.

He will sip it but not he will be near (to) swallowing it. And will come to him the death from every side, but not he will die. And from ahead of him (is) a punishment harsh.

   warāahum   (2)

As for the ship, it was of (the) poor people working in the sea. So I intended that I cause defect (in) it (as there) was after them a king who seized every ship (by) force.

Indeed, these love the immediate, and leave behind them a Day grave.

   warāihim   (3)

That I may do righteous (deeds) in what I left behind." No! Indeed, it (is) a word he speaks it, and from and before them (is) a barrier till (the) Day they are resurrected.

From before them (is) Hell and not will avail them what they had earned anything, and not what they had taken from besides Allah (as) protectors. And for them (is) a punishment great.

But Allah from behind them, encompasses.

   warāī   (1)

And indeed, I [I] fear the successors from after me, and is my wife barren. So give [to] me from Yourself an heir

   wūriya   (1)

Then whispered to both of them the Shaitaan to make apparent to both of them what was concealed from both of them of their shame. And he said, "(Did) not forbid you both your Lord from this [the] tree except that you two become Angels or you two become of the immortals."

   yatawārā   (1)

He hides himself from the people (because) of the evil of what he has been given good news about. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the dust? Unquestionably, evil (is) what they decide.

   yuwārī   (2)

O Children (of) Adam! Verily We have sent down to you clothing, it covers your shame and (as) an adornment. But the clothing (of) [the] righteousness - that (is) best. That (is) from (the) Signs (of) Allah so that they may remember.
