Today's Ayat for Friday, 2023-12-08 / Jumada I 24, 1445 AH
...Verily, God does not change men's condition unless they change their inner selves; and when God wills people to suffer evil [in consequence of their own evil deeds], there is none who could avert it: for they have none who could protect them from Him
-- ar-R`ad 13:11
This, because God would never change the blessings with which He has graced a people unless they change their inner selves: and [know] that God is all-hearing, all-seeing.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُغَیِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ یُغَیِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡۗ وَإِذَاۤ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوۡمࣲ سُوۤءࣰا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ
ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمۡ یَكُ مُغَیِّرࣰا نِّعۡمَةً أَنۡعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ یُغَیِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمࣱ
