And if (had) known Allah in them any good, surely, He (would) have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, surely they would have turned away, while they (were) averse.
For, if God had seen any good in them, He would certainly have made them hear: but [as it is,] even if He had made them hear, they would surely have turned away in their obstinacy
Had Allah known of any good in them He would have made them hear, but had He made them hear they would have turned away, averse

Had Allah perceived any virtue in them He would have indeed endowed them with hearing. Had he made them (those without virtue) hear, they would have turned away and refused to listen
Had God recognized any good in them, He would have made them hear; and had He made them hear, they would have turned away defiantly
And if Allah had known of any charity in them, indeed He would have made them hear; and if He had made them hear, they would have turned back (while) veering away from (His words)

And if God knew (that) in them (there is) goodness He would have made them hear/listen, and if He made them hear/listen, they would have turned away, and (while) they are objecting/opposing
If there was just a little bit goodness in them, God would have done a favor to them, letting the words penetrate in their conscious. However [the way they are], their absorbing the truth [and joining the army of the believers in the fight against the disbelievers] would have caused more trouble
And had Allah found any goodness in them, He would have made them hear; and had He made them hear they would, in the end, have turned away and gone back
And if ALLAH had known any good in them, HE would certainly have made them hear. And if HE now makes them hear, they will turn away in aversion
And had Allah known even a little (inclination towards) good in them, He would (certainly) have made them hear. But (their state of mind is such that) if He makes them hear (the truth), they will (even then) turn away, and they are those who are averse (to the truth)
