kadhālika l-ʿadhābu walaʿadhābu l-ākhirati akbaru law kānū yaʿlamūn
Perhaps, our Lord, [that] will substitute for us a better than it. Indeed, we to our Lord turn devoutly."
[But] it may be that our Sustainer will grant us something better instead: for, verily, unto our Sustainer do we turn with hope!"
It may be that our Lord will give us better than this in place thereof. Lo! we beseech our Lord

May be our Nourisher-Sustainer (takes us in mercy and) that He may give instead (an orchard) better than that (which He decided to put in ruins). Truly we, to our Nourisher-Sustainer, (become) those who attach (themselves to His Path).”
