in kāda layuḍillunā ʿan ālihatinā lawlā an ṣabarnā ʿalayhā wasawfa yaʿlamūna ḥīna yarawna l-ʿadhāba man aḍallu sabīla
He would have almost [surely] misled us from our gods if not that we had been steadfast to them." And soon will know when they will see the punishment, who (is) more astray (from the) way.
Indeed, he would well-nigh have led us astray from our deities, had we not been [so] steadfastly attached to them!” But in time, when they see the suffering [that awaits them], they will come to know who it was that went farthest astray from the path [of truth]
He would have led us far away from our gods if we had not been staunch to them. They will know, when they behold the doom, who is more astray as to the road
"He indeed would well-nigh have misled us from our gods, had it not been that we were constant to them!" - Soon will they know, when they see the Penalty, who it is that is most misled in Path
He would have almost tricked us away from our gods, had we not been so devoted to them.” ˹But˺ soon they will know, when they face the punishment, who is far astray from the ˹Right˺ Way.
He would almost have misled us from our gods had we not stood firmly by them." But soon, when they see the punishment, they will know who is the most misguided.
Indeed, he would well-nigh have led us astray from our deities, had we not been [so] steadfastly attached to them! When they behold the punishment, they shall realize who strayed furthest from the right path
He had well-nigh led us astray from our gods had we not adhered to them patiently! And they will know, when they see the punishment, who is straying farther off from the path
He was about to cause us to go astray from our gods, if it were not that we endured patiently in them! And they will know at the time when they see the punishment, who is one who goes astray from the way.
He almost led us away from our gods, if we had not acted so patient towards them." They will know who is furthest off the track when they see the torment!
He (Muhammad) would have nearly misled us from our deities, had it not been that we were patient and constant in our (worship)!” They will know when they see the punishment; they will realize who actually is most astray from the Right Way!
He would indeed have nearly led us astray from our gods, had we not been steadfast to them.” They will know, when they see the punishment, who is further astray from the way
If he could, surely he will deviate us from our aaliha (gods), if not (it is) that we remained constant in (worshipping) them." And soon they will know when they see the torment, who is more astray from the (Right) Path
Had we not stood firm, he (Muhammad) would have turned us away from our gods." Very soon, when they face the punishment, they will realize who actually went off the Right Path
'He nearly led us away from our gods, had we not patiently adhered to them.' But they will know, when they witness the torment, who is further away from the way
Decidedly he had almost made us, indeed, to err away from our gods, had we not (suffered ourselves) to endure patiently with them." And eventually they will know, while they see the tornment, who has erred further from the way
Had we not been steadfast he would almost have led us astray from our gods." On facing torment they will soon know who had really gone astray
He would have almost led us astray from our gods, had we not been so firm towards them. They will know when they will see the punishment, who is farther astray in his way
He would have led us far away from our gods if we were not staunch to them." They will know, when they see the doom, as to who is more astray from the Path
"He had almost wooed us away from our gods. But we stayed staunch upon them." As soon as they confront their punishment they will find out who had strayed farther away from the path
"Truly, he would have almost misled us from our gods, if we were not unchanging towards them!"— Soon will they know, when they see the penalty, who it is that is most misled from the (true) path
He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way
"He nearly diverted us from our gods had we not been patient for them." They will learn when they see the retribution who is on a path most astray
He might almost have led us astray from our gods if we had not stood so firmly by them.’ When they see the punishment, they will know who is furthest from the path
Well nigh he had led us astray from our gods if we had not persevered towards them. Presently they shall know, When they behold the torment, who, more astray in respect of path
He would have surely turned us away from our gods if we had not adhered to them." They will know soon who is farther away from the path when they see the punishment
He might almost have misled us from our gods had we not stuck to them steadfastly!´ They will soon know, when they see the punishment, whose way is the most misguided.
"Indeed, he would almost have led us astray from our deities, had we not persevered in our attachment to them." But in time when they see the (promised) punishment, they will come to know who it was that strayed too far from the right way
Indeed he was about to lead us astray from our gods, had we not stood by them.’ Soon they will know, when they sight the punishment, who is further astray from the [right] way
"He well-nigh leads us astray from our gods, had we not been constant to them." But they shall know, when they see the torment, who errs most from the path
He almost led us away from our gods, if we had not persevered on them. They will know who is more off the (right) way when they see the punishmen
“Indeed he would have nearly misled us from our gods, had we not been so devoted to them.” Soon they will know when they see the penalty who it is that is most misled
If we hadn’t been committed to our idols he would have lead us away from our gods.” They will know, who had gone astray from the path when they see the punishment.
He had almost led us astray from our gods, had we not remained firm in our faith with regard to them. " The time is not far when they will see the torment and realize who had strayed far from the truth
"Henearly diverted us from our gods had we not been patient for them." They will learn when they see the retribution who is on a path most astray
"Indeed, he would almost have led us away from our deities, had we not stood firmly with them!" And when they experience the punishment, they shall realize who it is that had strayed from the path
It was near that he would have made us astray from our gods if we had not persevered towards them. Now they wish to know, the day when they will see the torment that who was astray from the path.
"He almost diverted us from our gods, if it were not that we steadfastly persevered with them." They will certainly find out, when they see the retribution, who are the real strayers from the path.
He would have mislead us from our gods, if we had not been steadfast to them. ' But they shall know who is further astray from the Path when they see the punishment
He had well-nigh led us astray from our gods had we not adhered to them patiently! And they will know, when they see the chastisement, who is more astray from the path
That he was about to/almost to misguide us from our gods, except for that we were patient on it. And they will know when they see/understand the torture who (is) more misguided a way/path
They will continue: “He almost succeeded in misleading us. If we had not been perseverant in worshipping our gods, we would have been misled by now!” They will realize who is misled, when they come face to face with their punishment
“Possibly he would have misled us away from our gods had we not been firm upon them”; soon they will know, when they see the punishment, who was astray from the path
`He indeed had well-nigh led us astray from our gods, had we not steadily adhered to them.' And they shall no, when they see the punishment, who is most astray from the right path
He had nearly turned us away from our gods, had we not held fast to their (worship).’ And when they see the torment, they will soon realize who was astray
`He indeed had well-nigh led us astray from our gods if we had not adhered to them steadfastly.' And they shall soon know for certain, when they see the punishment who had completely lost the straight path
"He would have nearly misled us from our aliha (gods), had it not been that we were patient and constant in their worship!" And they will know when they see the torment, who it is that is most astray from the (Right) Path
Wellnigh he had led us astray from our gods, but that we kept steadfast to them.' Assuredly they shall know, when they see the chastisement, who is further astray from the way
Verily he had almost drawn us aside from the worship of our gods; if we had not firmly persevered in our devotion towards them. But they shall know hereafter, when they shall see the punishment prepared for them, who hath strayed more widely from the right path
he well-nigh leads us astray from our gods, had we not been patient about them.' But they shall know, when they see the torment, who errs most from the path
Indeed he had well nigh led us astray from our gods, had we not persevered steadfastly in their service." But in the end they shall know, when they shall see the punishment, who hath most strayed from the path
Had we not stood firm, he would have made us stray from our gods.‘ But when they face the scourge they shall realize who has strayed farther from the right path
He would certainly have misled us from our gods if we had not been devoted to them.” Soon they will know, when they see the punishment, who it is that is most astray from the path.
He almost led us away from our gods, if we had not acted so patient towards them." They will know who is furthest off the track when they see the torment!
He could almost have led us astray from our deities, had we not been steadfastly attached to them!' But in time, when they see the suffering, they will come to know who it was that went farthest astray.
“Had we not been steadfast (upon our deities) he (the Rasul) would have lead us astray from our gods”... When they see the suffering they will know whose path is astray.
'He would have led us astray from our gods if we had not been staunch to them!' And soon they will know, when they see the chastisement, who is it that is most misled in path
"He almost succeeded", they add, "in influencing our thoughts against our gods and he nearly made us err and our sober wishes almost learned to stray, had it not been for our firmness and constancy". But on the day they are confronted with the torment laid upon the damned they shall then realize who had been lost in the blind mazes of entangled wood
And when they see you, they do not take you for anything but mockery (saying), "Is this the one whom Allah has raised as a messenger?
"He indeed would well-nigh have misled us from our gods, had it not been that we were constant to them!" - Soon will they know, when they see the Penalty, who it is that is most misled in Path
