in huwa illā rajulun bihi jinnatun fatarabbaṣū bihi ḥattā ḥīni
Not he (is) but a man in him (is) madness, so wait concerning him until a time."
He is nothing but a madman: so bear with him for a while.”

(And some said): "He is only a man possessed: wait (and have patience) with him for a time."

"Indeed", they continued, "he is but a man ruinously imprudent, possessed or insane. Watch him for sometime with patience, his madness may subside or else he would deserve destruction"
So the leaders of those who did not believe from among his people said, "He is no more than a man like yourselves, he intends to achieve superiority over you, and had Allah willed He would have sent down angels, We have not heard this among our ancient forefathers.
(And some said): "He is only a man possessed: wait (and have patience) with him for a time."
