| spreading (their wings) | | ṣāffātin | | صَافَّاتٍ | | ص ف ف | |
| and folding? | | wayaqbiḍ'na | | وَيَقْبِضْنَ | | ق ب ض | |
| holds them | | yum'sikuhunna | | يُمْسِكُهُنَّ | | م س ك | |
| the Most Gracious. | | l-raḥmānu | | الرَّحْمَنُ | | ر ح م | |
| Indeed, He | | innahu | | إِنَّهُ | | ا ن ن | |
| (is) of every | | bikulli | | بِكُلِّ | | ك ل ل | |
