| Arabic | | يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِي وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا قَالُوا شَهِدْنَا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِنَا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَشَهِدُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَافِرِين |  |

| O assembly | | yāmaʿshara | | يَامَعْشَرَ | | ع ش ر | |
| (of) [the] jinn | | l-jini | | الْجِنِّ | | ج ن ن | |
| and [the] men! | | wal-insi | | وَالْإِنْسِ | | ا ن س | |
| Did (there) not | | alam | | أَلَمْ | | ل م | |
| come to you | | yatikum | | يَأْتِكُمْ | | ا ت ى | |
| Messengers | | rusulun | | رُسُلٌ | | ر س ل | |
| from (among) you, | | minkum | | مِنْكُمْ | | م ن | |
| relating | | yaquṣṣūna | | يَقُصُّونَ | | ق ص ص | |
| to you | | ʿalaykum | | عَلَيْكُمْ | | ع ل ى | |
| My Verses | | āyātī | | ءَايَاتِي | | ا ى ا | |
| and warning you | | wayundhirūnakum | | وَيُنْذِرُونَكُمْ | | ن ذ ر | |
| (of the) meeting | | liqāa | | لِقَاءَ | | ل ق ى | |
| (of) your day | | yawmikum | | يَوْمِكُمْ | | ى و م | |
| They will say, | | qālū | | قَالُوا | | ق و ل | |
| "We bear witness | | shahid'nā | | شَهِدْنَا | | ش ه د | |
| ourselves." | | anfusinā | | أَنْفُسِنَا | | ن ف س | |
| And deluded them | | wagharrathumu | | وَغَرَّتْهُمُ | | غ ر ر | |
| the life | | l-ḥayatu | | الْحَيَوةُ | | ح ى ى | |
| (of) the world, | | l-dun'yā | | الدُّنْيَا | | د ن و | |
| and they will bear witness | | washahidū | | وَشَهِدُوا | | ش ه د | |
| themselves | | anfusihim | | أَنْفُسِهِمْ | | ن ف س | |
| that they | | annahum | | أَنَّهُمْ | | ا ن ن | |
| disbelievers. | | kāfirīna | | كَافِرِينَ | | ك ف ر | |
