| Arabic | | وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُم مَّا نَدْرِي مَا السَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِين |  |

| and the Hour - | wal-sāʿatu | وَالسَّاعَةُ | س و ع | |

| the Hour (is). | l-sāʿatu | السَّاعَةُ | س و ع | |
| we think | naẓunnu | نَظُنُّ | ظ ن ن | |
| an assumption, | ẓannan | ظَنًّا | ظ ن ن | |
| (are) convinced." | bimus'tayqinīna | بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ | ى ق ن | |
