| Arabic | | إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا لَوْلَا أَن صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلً |  |

| the punishment, | l-ʿadhāba | الْعَذَابَ | ع ذ ب | |
| (is) more astray | aḍallu | أَضَلُّ | ض ل ل | |
| (from the) way. | sabīlan | سَبِيلًا | س ب ل | |
