| their hearts | | qulūbihim | | قُلُوبِهِمْ | | ق ل ب | |

| their vision | | abṣārihim | | أَبْصَارِهِمْ | | ب ص ر | |
| (is) a veil. | | ghishāwatun | | غِشَاوَةٌ | | غ ش ى | |
| And for them | | walahum | | وَلَهُمْ | | ل | |
| (is) a punishment | | ʿadhābun | | عَذَابٌ | | ع ذ ب | |
| great. | | ʿaẓīmun | | عَظِيمٌ | | ع ظ م | |
