2:7
خَتَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَة ٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Khatama Allāhu `Alá Qulūbihim Wa `Alá Sam`ihim, Wa `Alá 'Abşārihim Ghishāwatun, Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
God has sealed their hearts and their ears, and over their eyes are covers. They will incur a great retribution.
2:49
وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ وَفِي ذَلِكُمْ بَلاَء ٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa 'Idh Najjaynākum Min 'Āli Fir`awna Yasūmūnakum Sū'a Al-`Adhābi Yudhabbiĥūna 'Abnā'akum Wa Yastaĥyūna Nisā'akum Wa Fī Dhālikum Balā'un Min Rabbikum `Ažīmun
And We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, they were afflicting you with the worst punishment; they used to slaughter your children, and rape your women. In that was a great test from your Lord.
2:105
مَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَلاَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَنْ يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ خَيْر ٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
Mā Yawaddu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Wa Lā Al-Mushrikīna 'An Yunazzala `Alaykum Min Khayrin Min Rabbikum Wa Allāhu Yakhtaşşu Biraĥmatihi Man Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-FaĐli Al-`Ažīmi
Neither do those who have rejected from among the people of the Book, nor from among the polytheists, wish that any good comes down to you from your Lord. But God chooses with His mercy whom He wishes; and from God is the greatest grace.
2:114
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ مَنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ أَنْ يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُه ُُ وَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَا أُوْلَائِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَنْ يَدخُلُوهَا إلا خَائِفِينَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْي ٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa Man 'Ažlamu Mimman Mana`a Masājida Allāhi 'An Yudhkara Fīhā Asmuhu Wa Sa`á Fī Kharābihā 'Ūlā'ika Mā Kāna Lahum 'An Yadkhulūhā 'Ilā Khā'ifīna Lahum Fī Ad-Dunyā Khizyun Wa Lahum Fī Al-'Ākhirati `Adhābun `Ažīmun
And who are more wicked than those who prevent the temples of God that His name be mentioned in them; and they seek their destruction? They will not be able to enter them except in fear; they will have humiliation in this world and in the Hereafter a painful retribution.
2:255
اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُه ُُ سِنَة ٌ وَلاَ نَوْم ٌ لَه ُُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ~ُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِه ِِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْء ٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ~ِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَئُودُه ُُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allāhu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-Ĥayyu Al-Qayyūmu, Lā Ta'khudhuhu Sinatun Wa Lā Nawmun, Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'ArĐi, Man Dhā Al-Ladhī Yashfa`u `Indahu 'Illā Bi'idhnihi, Ya`lamu Mā Bayna 'Aydīhim Wa Mā Khalfahum, Wa Lā Yuĥīţūna Bishay'in Min `Ilmihi 'Illā Bimā Shā'a, Wasi`a Kursīyuhu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'ArĐa, Wa Lā Ya'ūduhu Ĥifžuhumā, Wa Huwa Al-`Alīyu Al-`Ažīmu
God, there is no god except He, the Living, the Sustainer. No slumber or sleep overtakes Him; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who will intercede with Him except with His permission? He knows their present and their future, and they do not have any of His knowledge except for what He wishes. His Throne encompasses all of the heavens and the earth and it is easy for Him to preserve them. He is the Most High, the Great.
3:74
يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
Yakhtaşşu Biraĥmatihi Man Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-FaĐli Al-`Ažīmi
He singles out with His mercy whom He chooses, and God is with Great Bounty.
3:105
وَلاَ تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَأُوْلَائِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Tafarraqū Wa Akhtalafū Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-Bayyinātu Wa 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
And do not be like those who separated and differed after the clarity had come to them. And for them is a painful retribution.
3:172
الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا مِنْهُمْ وَاتَّقَوْا أَجْرٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Al-Ladhīna Astajābū Lillāhi Wa Ar-Rasūli Min Ba`di Mā 'Aşābahumu Al-Qarĥu Lilladhīna 'Aĥsanū Minhum Wa Attaqaw 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
Those who have answered God and the messenger after they were afflicted with wounds. For those of them who did good and were righteous is a great recompense.
3:174
فَانْقَلَبُوا بِنِعْمَة ٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْل ٍ لَمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوء ٌ وَاتَّبَعُوا رِضْوَانَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Fānqalabū Bini`matin Mina Allāhi Wa FaĐlin Lam Yamsas/hum Sū'un Wa Attaba`ū RiĐwāna Allāhi Wa Allāhu Dhū FaĐlin `Ažīmin
So they came back with a recompense from God and a bounty, no harm would touch them. And they had followed the pleasure of God, and God is the One with great pleasure.
3:176
وَلاَ يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللَّهَ شَيْئا ً يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَلاَّ يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظّا ً فِي الآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa Lā Yaĥzunka Al-Ladhīna Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Kufri 'Innahum Lan YaĐurrū Allāha Shay'āan Yurīdu Allāhu 'Allā Yaj`ala Lahum Ĥažžāan Fī Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
And do not be saddened by those who rush into disbelief. They will not harm God in the least. God does not wish to make for them any share in the Hereafter, and they will have a painful retribution.
3:179
مَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَجْتَبِي مِنْ رُسُلِه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِه ِِ وَإِنْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Mā Kāna Allāhu Liyadhara Al-Mu'uminīna `Alá Mā 'Antum `Alayhi Ĥattá Yamīza Al-Khabītha Mina Aţ-Ţayyibi Wa Mā Kāna Allāhu Liyuţli`akum `Alá Al-Ghaybi Wa Lakinna Allāha Yajtabī Min Rusulihi Man Yashā'u Fa'āminū Billāhi Wa Rusulihi Wa 'In Tu'uminū Wa Tattaqū Falakum 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
God was not to leave the believers as they were without distinguishing the rotten from the good. And God was not to let you know the future, but God chooses from His messengers whom He wishes; so believe in God and His messengers. And if you believe and are righteous, then you will have a great recompense.
4:13
تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَه ُُ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Tilka Ĥudūdu Allāhi Wa Man Yuţi`i Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Yudkhilhu Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa Dhalika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
These are the boundaries of God, and whoever obeys God and His messenger, He will admit him to estates with rivers flowing beneath them, abiding therein. This is the great triumph.
4:27
وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الشَّهَوَاتِ أَنْ تَمِيلُوا مَيْلاً عَظِيما ً
Wa Allāhu Yurīdu 'An Yatūba `Alaykum Wa Yurīdu Al-Ladhīna Yattabi`ūna Ash-Shahawāti 'An Tamīlū Maylāan `Ažīmāan
And God wants to pardon you, but those who follow desires want that you would be diverted into a great diversion.
4:40
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّة ٍ وَإِنْ تَكُ حَسَنَة ً يُضَاعِفْهَا وَيُؤْتِ مِنْ لَدُنْهُ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
'Inna Allāha Lā Yažlimu Mithqāla Dharratin Wa 'In Taku Ĥasanatan YuĐā`ifhā Wa Yu'uti Min Ladunhu 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
Indeed, God does not wrong the weight of an atom; and if it is good He will double it. And He grants from Himself a great recompense.
4:48
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَغْفِرُ أَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِه ِِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَمَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ افْتَرَى إِثْماً عَظِيما ً
'Inna Allāha Lā Yaghfiru 'An Yushraka Bihi Wa Yaghfiru Mā Dūna Dhālika Liman Yashā'u Wa Man Yushrik Billāhi Faqadi Aftará 'Ithmāan `Ažīmāan
God does not forgive that partners be set up with Him, and He forgives other than that for whom He pleases. Whoever sets up partners with God has indeed invented a great sin.
4:54
أَمْ يَحْسُدُونَ النَّاسَ عَلَى مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِه ِِ فَقَدْ آتَيْنَا آلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ مُلْكاً عَظِيما ً
'Am Yaĥsudūna An-Nāsa `Alá Mā 'Ātāhumu Allāhu Min FaĐlihi Faqad 'Ātaynā 'Āla 'Ibrāhīma Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa 'Ātaynāhum Mulkāan `Ažīmāan
Or do they envy the people for what God has given them of His bounty? We have given the descendants of Abraham the Book and the wisdom; We have given them a great kingship.
4:67
وَإِذا ً لَآتَيْنَاهُمْ مِنْ لَدُنَّا أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
Wa 'Idhāan La'ātaynāhum Min Ladunnā 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
Then We would have given them from Us a great recompense.
4:73
وَلَئِنْ أَصَابَكُمْ فَضْل ٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ لَيَقُولَنَّ كَأَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَه ُُ مَوَدَّة ٌ يَالَيْتَنِي كُنتُ مَعَهُمْ فَأَفُوزَ فَوْزاً عَظِيما ً
Wa La'in 'Aşābakum FaĐlun Mina Allāhi Layaqūlanna Ka'an Lam Takun Baynakum Wa Baynahu Mawaddatun Yā Laytanī Kuntu Ma`ahum Fa'afūza Fawzāan `Ažīmāan
And if grace from God benefits you, he will speak as if there had not been affection between you and him: "Oh, I wish I had been with them so I would have triumphed a great triumph."
4:74
فَلْيُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يَشْرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالآخِرَةِ وَمَنْ يُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُقْتَلْ أَوْ يَغْلِبْ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ~ِ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
Falyuqātil Fī Sabīli Allāhi Al-Ladhīna Yashrūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā Bil-'Ākhirati Wa Man Yuqātil Fī Sabīli Allāhi Fayuqtal 'Aw Yaghlib Fasawfa Nu'utīhi 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
Let those who seek to purchase the Hereafter rather than this world fight in the cause of God. And whoever fights in the cause of God and is killed or attains victory, then We will grant him a great recompense.
4:93
وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنا ً مُتَعَمِّدا ً فَجَزَاؤُه ُُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدا ً فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَه ُُ وَأَعَدَّ لَه ُُ عَذَاباً عَظِيما ً
Wa Man Yaqtul Mu'umināan Muta`ammidāan Fajazā'uuhu Jahannamu Khālidāan Fīhā Wa GhaĐiba Allāhu `Alayhi Wa La`anahu Wa 'A`adda Lahu `Adhābāan `Ažīmāan
And whoever kills a believer intentionally, then his recompense shall be Hell, abiding therein, and God will be angry with him, and curse him, and for him is prepared a great retribution.
4:95
لاَ يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُوْلِي الضَّرَرِ وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ دَرَجَة ً وَكُلاّ ً وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَى وَفَضَّلَ اللَّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
Lā Yastawī Al-Qā`idūna Mina Al-Mu'uminīna Ghayru 'Ūlī AĐ-Đarari Wa Al-Mujāhidūna Fī Sabīli Allāhi Bi'amwālihim Wa 'Anfusihim FaĐĐala Allāhu Al-Mujāhidīna Bi'amwālihim Wa 'Anfusihim `Alá Al-Qā`idīna Darajatan Wa Kullāan Wa`ada Allāhu Al-Ĥusná Wa FaĐĐala Allāhu Al-Mujāhidīna `Alá Al-Qā`idīna 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
Not equal are those who stayed behind from the believers; except those disabled; with those who strived in the cause of God with their money and lives. God has preferred those who strive with their money and lives over those who stayed behind by a grade; and to both God has promised goodness; and God has preferred those who strived over those who stayed behind by a great reward.
4:113
وَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُه ُُ لَهَمَّتْ طَائِفَة ٌ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِنْ شَيْء ٍ وَأَنزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمْ تَكُنْ تَعْلَمُ وَكَانَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ عَظِيما ً
Wa Lawlā FaĐlu Allāhi `Alayka Wa Raĥmatuhu Lahammat Ţā'ifatun Minhum 'An YuĐillūka Wa Mā YuĐillūna 'Illā 'Anfusahum Wa Mā YaĐurrūnaka Min Shay'in Wa 'Anzala Allāhu `Alayka Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa `Allamaka Mā Lam Takun Ta`lamu Wa Kāna FaĐlu Allāhi `Alayka `Ažīmāan
And had it not been for the grace of God upon you and His mercy, when a group of them were insistent on misguiding you; they would not have misguided except themselves, nor would they harm you in anything. And God has sent down to you the Book and the wisdom, and He has taught you what you did not know. And the grace of God upon you is great.
4:114
لاَ خَيْرَ فِي كَثِير ٍ مِنْ نَجْوَاهُمْ إِلاَّ مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلاَح ٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاةِ اللَّهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ~ِ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
Lā Khayra Fī Kathīrin Min Najwāhum 'Illā Man 'Amara Bişadaqatin 'Aw Ma`rūfin 'Aw 'Işlāĥin Bayna An-Nāsi Wa Man Yaf`al Dhālika Abtighā'a MarĐāati Allāhi Fasawfa Nu'utīhi 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
There is no good in most of what they privately confer, except whoever orders a charity or kindness or reconciliation between the people. And whoever does this seeking the grace of God, We will give him a great recompense.
4:146
إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَأَصْلَحُوا وَاعْتَصَمُوا بِاللَّهِ وَأَخْلَصُوا دِينَهُمْ لِلَّهِ فَأُوْلَائِكَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَسَوْفَ يُؤْتِ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
'Illā Al-Ladhīna Tābū Wa 'Aşlaĥū Wa A`taşamū Billāhi Wa 'Akhlaşū Dīnahum Lillāhi Fa'ūlā'ika Ma`a Al-Mu'uminīna Wa Sawfa Yu'uti Allāhu Al-Mu'uminīna 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
Except those who repent, and amend, and hold fast to God, and dedicate their system to God; then these will be with the believers. And God will give the believers a great recompense.
4:156
وَبِكُفْرِهِمْ وَقَوْلِهِمْ عَلَى مَرْيَمَ بُهْتَاناً عَظِيما ً
Wa Bikufrihim Wa Qawlihim `Alá Maryama Buhtānāan `Ažīmāan
And for their rejection and their saying about Mary a great falsehood.
4:162
لَكِنِ الرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَالْمُقِيمِينَ الصَّلاَةَ وَالْمُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ أُوْلَائِكَ سَنُؤْتِيهِمْ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
Lakini Ar-Rāsikhūna Fī Al-`Ilmi Minhum Wa Al-Mu'uminūna Yu'uminūna Bimā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Wa Mā 'Unzila Min Qablika Wa Al-Muqīmīna Aş-Şalāata Wa Al-Mu'utūna Az-Zakāata Wa Al-Mu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Al-Yawmi Al-'Ākhiri 'Ūlā'ika Sanu'utīhim 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
But those of them who are well founded in knowledge, and the believers, they believe in what was sent down to you and what was sent down before you; and those who hold the contact prayer, and those who contribute towards purification, and those who believe in God and the Last Day; to these We will give them their recompense greatly.
5:9
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَة ٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa`ada Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum Maghfiratun Wa 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
God has promised those who believe and do good works that they will have forgiveness and a great recompense.
5:33
إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ الَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَه ُُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَسَاداً أَنْ يُقَتَّلُوا أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوا أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ مِنْ خِلاَفٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْا مِنَ الأَرْضِ ذَلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْي ٌ فِي الدُّنيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
'Innamā Jazā'u Al-Ladhīna Yuĥāribūna Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Yas`awna Fī Al-'ArĐi Fasādāan 'An Yuqattalū 'Aw Yuşallabū 'Aw Tuqaţţa`a 'Aydīhim Wa 'Arjuluhum Min Khilāfin 'Aw Yunfaw Mina Al-'ArĐi Dhālika Lahum Khizyun Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Lahum Fī Al-'Ākhirati `Adhābun `Ažīmun
The recompense of those who fight God and His messenger, and seek to make corruption in the land, is that they will be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from alternate sides or that they be banished from the land; that is a disgrace for them in this world and in the Hereafter they will have a great retribution.
5:41
يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ لاَ يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّاعُونَ لِقَوْم ٍ آخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِه ِِ يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَذَا فَخُذُوه ُُ وَإِنْ لَمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُوا وَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ فِتْنَتَه ُُ فَلَنْ تَمْلِكَ لَه ُُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئاً أُوْلَائِكَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْي ٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Ar-Rasūlu Lā Yaĥzunka Al-Ladhīna Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Kufri Mina Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Āmannā Bi'afwāhihim Wa Lam Tu'umin Qulūbuhum Wa Mina Al-Ladhīna Hādū Sammā`ūna Lilkadhibi Sammā`ūna Liqawmin 'Ākharīna Lam Ya'tūka Yuĥarrifūna Al-Kalima Min Ba`di MawāĐi`ihi Yaqūlūna 'In 'Ūtītum Hādhā Fakhudhūhu Wa 'In Lam Tu'utawhu Fāĥdharū Wa Man Yuridi Allāhu Fitnatahu Falan Tamlika Lahu Mina Allāhi Shay'āan 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Lam Yuridi Allāhu 'An Yuţahhira Qulūbahum Lahum Fī Ad-Dunyā Khizyun Wa Lahum Fī Al-'Ākhirati `Adhābun `Ažīmun
O messenger, do not be saddened by those who increase in disbelief from among those who said: "We believe" with their mouths while their hearts did not believe. And from among those who are Jewish, there are those who listened to lies; they listened to people who never came to you; they distort the words from their context, and they say: "If you are given this, then take it, but if you are given anything different, then beware!" And whoever God wants to test, then you will not possess anything for him against God. These are the ones whose hearts God did not want to cleanse; in this world they will have humiliation, and in the Hereafter they will have a great retribution.
5:119
قَالَ اللَّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّات ٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدا ً رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Qāla Allāhu Hādhā Yawmu Yanfa`u Aş-Şādiqīna Şidquhum Lahum Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā 'Abadāan RaĐiya Allāhu `Anhum Wa RaĐū `Anhu Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
God will say: "This is a Day when the truth will benefit the truthful; they will have estates with rivers flowing beneath them, abiding therein eternally; God has become pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. Such is the greatest victory."
6:15
قُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Qul 'Innī 'Akhāfu 'In `Aşaytu Rabbī `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin
Say: "I fear if I disobey my Lord, the retribution of a great Day!"
7:59
لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحا ً إِلَى قَوْمِه ِِ فَقَالَ يَاقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَه ٍٍ غَيْرُهُ~ُ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Laqad 'Arsalnā Nūĥāan 'Ilá Qawmihi Faqāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allāha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu 'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin
We had sent Noah to his people, so he said: "My people, serve God, you have no god besides Him. I fear for you the retribution of a great Day!"
7:116
قَالَ أَلْقُوا فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْا سَحَرُوا أَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَاءُوا بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Qāla 'Alqū Falammā 'Alqaw Saĥarū 'A`yuna An-Nāsi Wa Astarhabūhum Wa Jā'ū Bisiĥrin `Ažīmin
He said: "You cast." So when they cast, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and instilled terror in them, and they came with a great magic.
7:141
وَإِذْ أَنجَيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يُقَتِّلُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ وَفِي ذَلِكُمْ بَلاَء ٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa 'Idh 'Anjaynākum Min 'Āli Fir`awna Yasūmūnakum Sū'a Al-`Adhābi Yuqattilūna 'Abnā'akum Wa Yastaĥyūna Nisā'akum Wa Fī Dhālikum Balā'un Min Rabbikum `Ažīmun
And We had saved you from the people of Pharaoh, they were afflicting you with the worst punishment; they used to kill your children and rape your women; and in that was a great test from your Lord.
8:28
وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلاَدُكُمْ فِتْنَة ٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ~ُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa A`lamū 'Annamā 'Amwālukum Wa 'Awlādukum Fitnatun Wa 'Anna Allāha `Indahu 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
And know that your money and your children are a test, and that God has the greatest reward.
8:29
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ فُرْقَانا ً وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Tattaqū Allāha Yaj`al Lakum Furqānāan Wa Yukaffir `Ankum Sayyi'ātikum Wa Yaghfir Lakum Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-FaĐli Al-`Ažīmi
O you who believe, if you are aware of God, He will make a criterion for you, and He will cancel your sins and forgive you. God is possessor of great grace.
8:68
لَوْلاَ كِتَاب ٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَا أَخَذْتُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Lawlā Kitābun Mina Allāhi Sabaqa Lamassakum Fīmā 'Akhadhtum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
Had it not been previously ordained from God, then a severe punishment would have afflicted you for what you took.
9:20
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ
Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Hājarū Wa Jāhadū Fī Sabīli Allāhi Bi'amwālihim Wa 'Anfusihim 'A`žamu Darajatan `Inda Allāhi Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fā'izūna
Those who believed and emigrated and strived in the cause of God with their money and their lives are in a greater degree with God. These are the winners.
9:22
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدا ً إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ~ُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Khālidīna Fīhā 'Abadāan 'Inna Allāha `Indahu 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
Abiding therein eternally. With God there is a great reward.
9:63
أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّه ُُ مَنْ يُحَادِدِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَه ُُ فَأَنَّ لَه ُُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدا ً فِيهَا ذَلِكَ الْخِزْيُ الْعَظِيمُ
'Alam Ya`lamū 'Annahu Man Yuĥādidi Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Fa'anna Lahu Nāra Jahannama Khālidāan Fīhā Dhālika Al-Khizyu Al-`Ažīmu
Did they not know that whoever is hostile towards God and His messenger, he will have the fire of Hell, abiding therein. Such is the greatest humiliation.
9:72
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَة ً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْن ٍ وَرِضْوَان ٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Wa`ada Allāhu Al-Mu'uminīna Wa Al-Mu'umināti Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa Masākina Ţayyibatan Fī Jannāti `Adnin Wa RiĐwānun Mina Allāhi 'Akbaru Dhālika Huwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
God has promised the believing males and the believing females estates with rivers flowing beneath them, abiding therein, and pleasing homes in gardens of delight. And the acceptance from God is the most important; such is the great triumph.
9:89
أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
'A`adda Allāhu Lahum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
God has prepared for them estates with rivers flowing beneath them, abiding therein. Such is the great gain.
9:100
وَالسَّابِقُونَ الأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنصَارِ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُمْ بِإِحْسَان ٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدا ً ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Wa As-Sābiqūna Al-'Awwalūna Mina Al-Muhājirīna Wa Al-'Anşāri Wa Al-Ladhīna Attaba`ūhum Bi'iĥsānin RaĐiya Allāhu `Anhum Wa RaĐū `Anhu Wa 'A`adda Lahum Jannātin Tajrī Taĥtahā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā 'Abadāan Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
And those who came early and quickly from among the emigrants and the supporters, and those who followed them in goodness; God has accepted them, and they have accepted Him; and He has prepared for them estates with rivers flowing beneath them, abiding therein eternally. Such is the great triumph.
9:101
وَمِمَّنْ حَوْلَكُمْ مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ مُنَافِقُونَ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مَرَدُوا عَلَى النِّفَاقِ لاَ تَعْلَمُهُمْ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُهُمْ سَنُعَذِّبُهُمْ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَذَابٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Wa Mimman Ĥawlakum Mina Al-'A`rābi Munāfiqūna Wa Min 'Ahli Al-Madīnati Maradū `Alá An-Nifāqi Lā Ta`lamuhum Naĥnu Na`lamuhum Sanu`adhdhibuhum Marratayni Thumma Yuraddūna 'Ilá `Adhābin `Ažīmin
And from among the Nomads around you are hypocrites, and from among the people of the city, they persist in hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We know them. We will punish them twice, then they will be returned to a great punishment.
9:111
إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَى مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ وَعْداً عَلَيْهِ حَقّا ً فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنجِيلِ وَالْقُرْآنِ وَمَنْ أَوْفَى بِعَهْدِه ِِ مِنَ اللَّهِ فَاسْتَبْشِرُوا بِبَيْعِكُمُ الَّذِي بَايَعْتُمْ بِه ِِ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
'Inna Allāha Ashtará Mina Al-Mu'uminīna 'Anfusahum Wa 'Amwālahum Bi'anna Lahumu Al-Jannata Yuqātilūna Fī Sabīli Allāhi Fayaqtulūna Wa Yuqtalūna Wa`dāan `Alayhi Ĥaqqāan Fī At-Tawrāati Wa Al-'Injīli Wa Al-Qur'āni Wa Man 'Awfá Bi`ahdihi Mina Allāhi Fāstabshirū Bibay`ikumu Al-Ladhī Bāya`tum Bihi Wa Dhalika Huwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
God has purchased from the believers their very lives and their wealth, that they will have the Paradise; they fight in the cause of God so they kill and are killed; a promise that is true upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran. And whoever fulfills this pledge with God, then have good news of the pledge which you are concluded with. Such is the great triumph.
9:129
فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِي اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Fa'in Tawallaw Faqul Ĥasbī Allāhu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa `Alayhi Tawakkaltu Wa Huwa Rabbu Al-`Arshi Al-`Ažīmi
If they turn away, then say: "God is sufficient for me, there is no god except He, in Him I place my trust and He is the Lord of the great Throne."
10:15
وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَات ٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَيْرِ هَذَا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ قُلْ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَه ُُ مِنْ تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِي إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Wa 'Idhā Tutlá `Alayhim 'Āyātunā Bayyinātin Qāla Al-Ladhīna Lā Yarjūna Liqā'anā A'ti Biqur'ānin Ghayri Hādhā 'Aw Baddilhu Qul Mā Yakūnu Lī 'An 'Ubaddilahu Min Tilqā'i Nafsī 'In 'Attabi`u 'Illā Mā Yūĥá 'Ilayya 'Innī 'Akhāfu 'In `Aşaytu Rabbī `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin
And when Our clear revelations were recited to them, those who do not wish to meet Us said: "Bring a Qur'an other than this, or change it!" Say: "It is not for me to change it of my own accord, I merely follow what is inspired to me. I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, the retribution of a great Day!"
10:64
لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ لاَ تَبْدِيلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Lahumu Al-Bushrá Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Fī Al-'Ākhirati Lā Tabdīla Likalimāti Allāhi Dhālika Huwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
For them are glad tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. There is no changing the words of God. Such is the great triumph.
12:28
فَلَمَّا رَأَى قَمِيصَه ُُ قُدَّ مِنْ دُبُر ٍ قَالَ إِنَّه ُُ مِنْ كَيْدِكُنَّ إِنَّ كَيْدَكُنَّ عَظِيم ٌ
Falammā Ra'á Qamīşahu Qudda Min Duburin Qāla 'Innahu Min Kaydikunna 'Inna Kaydakunna `Ažīmun
So when he saw that his shirt was torn from behind, he said: "This is from your female planning, your female planning is indeed great!"
14:6
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ أَنجَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ وَفِي ذَلِكُمْ بَلاَء ٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Adhkurū Ni`mata Allāhi `Alaykum 'Idh 'Anjākum Min 'Āli Fir`awna Yasūmūnakum Sū'a Al-`Adhābi Wa Yudhabbiĥūna 'Abnā'akum Wa Yastaĥyūna Nisā'akum Wa Fī Dhālikum Balā'un Min Rabbikum `Ažīmun
And Moses said to his people: "Remember the blessings of God upon you that He saved you from the people of Pharaoh; they were afflicting you with the worst punishment, and they used to slaughter your children, and rape your women. And in that was a great test from your Lord."
15:87
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعا ً مِنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynāka Sab`āan Mina Al-Mathānī Wa Al-Qur'āna Al-`Ažīma
And We have given you seven of the dual, and the great Qur'an.
16:94
وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلا ً بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَم ٌ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا السُّوءَ بِمَا صَدَدْتُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa Lā Tattakhidhū 'Aymānakum Dakhalāan Baynakum Fatazilla Qadamun Ba`da Thubūtihā Wa Tadhūqū As-Sū'a Bimā Şadadtum `An Sabīli Allāhi Wa Lakum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
And do not use your oaths as a means of deception between you, that a foot will slip after it has been made firm, and you will taste the evil of turning away from the path of God, and you will have a great retribution.
16:104
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ لاَ يَهْدِيهِمُ اللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم ٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Lā Yahdīhimu Allāhu Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun
Those who do not believe in the revelations of God, God will not guide them, and they will have a painful retribution.
17:40
أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِالْبَنِينَ وَاتَّخَذَ مِنَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنَاثا ً إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلاً عَظِيما ً
'Afa'aşfākum Rabbukum Bil-Banīna Wa Attakhadha Mina Al-Malā'ikati 'Ināthāan 'Innakum Lataqūlūna Qawlāan `Ažīmāan
Has your Lord preferred for you the males, while He takes the females as angels? You are indeed saying a grave thing!
19:37
فَاخْتَلَفَ الأَحْزَابُ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ فَوَيْل ٌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ مَشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Fākhtalafa Al-'Aĥzābu Min Baynihim Fawaylun Lilladhīna Kafarū Min Mash/hadi Yawmin `Ažīmin
So the parties disputed between them. Therefore, woe to those who have rejected from the scene of a terrible Day.
21:76
وَنُوحا ً إِذْ نَادَى مِنْ قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَه ُُ فَنَجَّيْنَاه ُُ وَأَهْلَه ُُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
Wa Nūĥāan 'Idh Nādá Min Qablu Fāstajabnā Lahu Fanajjaynāhu Wa 'Ahlahu Mina Al-Karbi Al-`Ažīmi
And Noah when he called out before that, thus We responded to him, and We saved him and his family from the great distress.
22:1
يَاأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu Attaqū Rabbakum 'Inna Zalzalata As-Sā`ati Shay'un `Ažīmun
O people, be aware of your Lord, for the quaking of the Hour is a terrible thing.
23:86
قُلْ مَنْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Qul Man Rabbu As-Samāwāti As-Sab`i Wa Rabbu Al-`Arshi Al-`Ažīmi
Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the great Throne?"
24:11
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالإِفْكِ عُصْبَة ٌ مِنْكُمْ لاَ تَحْسَبُوه ُُ شَرّا ً لَكُمْ بَلْ هُوَ خَيْر ٌ لَكُمْ لِكُلِّ امْرِئ ٍ مِنْهُمْ مَا اكْتَسَبَ مِنَ الإِثْمِ وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّى كِبْرَه ُُ مِنْهُمْ لَه ُُ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Jā'ū Bil-'Ifki `Uşbatun Minkum Lā Taĥsabūhu Sharrāan Lakum Bal Huwa Khayrun Lakum Likulli Amri'in Minhum Mā Aktasaba Mina Al-'Ithmi Wa Al-Ladhī Tawallá Kibrahu Minhum Lahu `Adhābun `Ažīmun
Those who have brought forth the false accusation were a group from among you. Do not think it is bad for you, for it is good for you. Every person among them will have what he deserves of the sin. And as for he who had the greatest portion of it, he will have a great retribution.
24:14
وَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُه ُُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِي مَا أَفَضْتُمْ فِيه ِِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa Lawlā FaĐlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Lamassakum Fī Mā 'AfaĐtum Fīhi `Adhābun `Ažīmun
And had it not been for the grace of God upon you, and His mercy in this world and the Hereafter, a great retribution would have touched you for what you have spoken.
24:15
إِذْ تَلَقَّوْنَه ُُ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَتَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِكُمْ مَا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِه ِِ عِلْم ٌ وَتَحْسَبُونَه ُُ هَيِّنا ً وَهُوَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَظِيم ٌ
'Idh Talaqqawnahu Bi'alsinatikum Wa Taqūlūna Bi'afwāhikum Mā Laysa Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Wa Taĥsabūnahu Hayyināan Wa Huwa `Inda Allāhi `Ažīmun
For you have cast it with your tongues, and you say with your mouths what you have no knowledge of, and you think it is a minor issue, while with God it was great.
24:16
وَلَوْلاَ إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوه ُُ قُلْتُمْ مَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa Lawlā 'Idh Sami`tumūhu Qultum Mā Yakūnu Lanā 'An Natakallama Bihadhā Subĥānaka Hādhā Buhtānun `Ažīmun
And when you heard it you should have said: "It was not right for us to speak of this. Glory be to You, this is a great lie."
24:23
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلاَتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yarmūna Al-Muĥşanāti Al-Ghāfilāti Al-Mu'umināti Lu`inū Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
Surely, those who accuse the independent innocent believing females, they will be cursed in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have a painful retribution.
26:63
فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنِ اضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْق ٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ
Fa'awĥaynā 'Ilá Mūsá 'Ani AĐrib Bi`aşāka Al-Baĥra Fānfalaqa Fakāna Kullu Firqin Kālţţawdi Al-`Ažīmi
So We inspired to Moses: "Strike the sea with your staff." So it split into two, each side like a great mountain.
26:135
إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin
"I fear for you the retribution of a great day"
26:156
وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوء ٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Wa Lā Tamassūhā Bisū'in Faya'khudhakum `Adhābu Yawmin `Ažīmin
"And do not afflict her with harm, else the retribution of a great day will seize you."
26:189
فَكَذَّبُوه ُُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ إِنَّه ُُ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Fakadhdhabūhu Fa'akhadhahum `Adhābu Yawmi Až-žullati 'Innahu Kāna `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin
But they denied him, so the retribution of the day of shadow took them. It was the retribution of a terrible day.
27:23
إِنِّي وَجَدتُّ امْرَأَة ً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيم ٌ
'Innī Wa Jadttu Amra'atan Tamlikuhum Wa 'Ūtiyat Min Kulli Shay'in Wa Lahā `Arshun `Ažīmun
"I found them ruled by a woman, and she was given all possessions, and she had a great throne."
27:26
اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Allāhu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Rabbu Al-`Arshi Al-`Ažīmi
"God, there is no god except He, the Lord of the supreme Throne."
28:79
فَخَرَجَ عَلَى قَوْمِه ِِ فِي زِينَتِه ِِ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنيَا يَالَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ قَارُونُ إِنَّه ُُ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيم ٍ
Fakharaja `Alá Qawmihi Fī Zīnatihi Qāla Al-Ladhīna Yurīdūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā Yālayta Lanā Mithla Mā 'Ūtiya Qārūnu 'Innahu Ladhū Ĥažžin `Ažīmin
Then he came out among his people draped in his ornaments. Those who preferred this worldly life said: "Oh, if only we were given similar to what Qaroon has been given. Indeed, he is very fortunate."
31:13
وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِه ِِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُه ُُ يَابُنَيَّ لاَ تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa 'Idh Qāla Luqmānu Liābnihi Wa Huwa Ya`ižuhu Yā Bunayya Lā Tushrik Billāhi 'Inna Ash-Shirka Lažulmun `Ažīmun
And Luqmaan said to his son, while he was advising him: O my son, do not set up any partners withGod; for setting up partners is an immense wrongdoing.
33:29
وَإِنْ كُنْتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَه ُُ وَالدَّارَ الآخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَاتِ مِنْكُنَّ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
Wa 'In Kuntunna Turidna Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Ad-Dāra Al-'Ākhirata Fa'inna Allāha 'A`adda Lilmuĥsināti Minkunna 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
But if you are seeking God and His messenger, and the abode of the Hereafter, then God has prepared for the righteous among you a great reward.
33:35
إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْقَانِتَاتِ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالصَّادِقَاتِ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّابِرَاتِ وَالْخَاشِعِينَ وَالْخَاشِعَاتِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقَاتِ وَالصَّائِمِينَ وَالصَّائِمَاتِ وَالْحَافِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَالْحَافِظَاتِ وَالذَّاكِرِينَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرا ً وَالذَّاكِرَاتِ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَة ً وَأَجْراً عَظِيما ً
'Inna Al-Muslimīna Wa Al-Muslimāti Wa Al-Mu'uminīna Wa Al-Mu'umināti Wa Al-Qānitīna Wa Al-Qānitāti Wa Aş-Şādiqīna Wa Aş-Şādiqāti Wa Aş-Şābirīna Wa Aş-Şābirāti Wa Al-Khāshi`īna Wa Al-Khāshi`āti Wa Al-Mutaşaddiqīna Wa Al-Mutaşaddiqāti Wa Aş-Şā'imīna Wa Aş-Şā'imāti Wa Al-Ĥāfižīna Furūjahum Wa Al-Ĥāfižāti Wa Adh-Dhākirīna Allāha Kathīrāan Wa Adh-Dhākirāti 'A`adda Allāhu Lahum Maghfiratan Wa 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
Surely, the submitting males, and the submitting females, the believing males, and the believing females, the dutiful males, and the dutiful females, the truthful males, and the truthful females, the patient males, and the patient females, the humble males, and the humble females, the charitable males, and the charitable females, the fasting males, and the fasting females, the males who keep covered their private parts, and the females who similarly keep covered, and the males who commemorate God frequently, and the commemorating females; God has prepared for them a forgiveness and a great recompense.
33:53
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِرِينَ إِنَاه ُُ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانْتَشِرُوا وَلاَ مُسْتَأْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيث ٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّبِيَّ فَيَسْتَحْيِ مِنْكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لاَ يَسْتَحْيِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعا ً فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَاب ٍ ذَلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَنْ تُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلاَ أَنْ تَنْكِحُوا أَزْوَاجَه ُُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ~ِ أَبَدا ً إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَظِيما ً
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tadkhulū Buyūta An-Nabīyi 'Illā 'An Yu'udhana Lakum 'Ilá Ţa`āmin Ghayra Nāžirīna 'Ināhu Wa Lakin 'Idhā Du`ītum Fādkhulū Fa'idhā Ţa`imtum Fāntashirū Wa Lā Musta'nisīna Liĥadīthin 'Inna Dhālikum Kāna Yu'udhī An-Nabīya Fayastaĥyi Minkum Wa Allāhu Lā Yastaĥyi Mina Al-Ĥaqqi Wa 'Idhā Sa'altumūhunna Matā`āan Fās'alūhunna Min Warā'i Ĥijābin Dhālikum 'Aţharu Liqulūbikum Wa Qulūbihinna Wa Mā Kāna Lakum 'An Tu'udhū Rasūla Allāhi Wa Lā 'An Tankiĥū 'Azwājahu Min Ba`dihi 'Abadāan 'Inna Dhālikum Kāna `Inda Allāhi `Ažīmāan
O you who believe, do not enter the homes of the prophet unless you are invited to a meal, without you forcing such an invitation. But if you are invited, you may enter. And when you finish eating, you shall leave, without staying to wait for a narrative. This used to bother the prophet, and he was shy to tell you. But God does not shy away from the truth. And if you ask his wives for something, ask them from behind a barrier. This is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not for you to harm the messenger of God, nor that you should marry his wives after him. This is indeed a gross offence withGod.
33:71
يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَه ُُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزاً عَظِيما ً
Yuşliĥ Lakum 'A`mālakum Wa Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum Wa Man Yuţi`i Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Faqad Fāza Fawzāan `Ažīmāan
He will then direct your works, and forgive your sins. And whoever obeys God and His messenger has triumphed a great triumph.
37:60
إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
'Inna Hādhā Lahuwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
Such is the great triumph.
37:76
وَنَجَّيْنَاه ُُ وَأَهْلَه ُُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
Wa Najjaynāhu Wa 'Ahlahu Mina Al-Karbi Al-`Ažīmi
And We saved him and his family from the great disaster.
37:107
وَفَدَيْنَاه ُُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Wa Fadaynāhu Bidhibĥin `Ažīmin
And We ransomed him with a great animal sacrifice.
37:115
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
Wa Najjaynāhumā Wa Qawmahumā Mina Al-Karbi Al-`Ažīmi
And We saved them and their people from the great disaster.
38:67
قُلْ هُوَ نَبَأٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Qul Huwa Naba'un `Ažīmun
Say: "It is an awesome news."
39:13
قُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Qul 'Innī 'Akhāfu 'In `Aşaytu Rabbī `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin
Say: I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, the retribution of a great Day.
40:9
وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْ تَقِي السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَه ُُ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Wa Qihimu As-Sayyi'āti Wa Man Taqī As-Sayyi'āti Yawma'idhin Faqad Raĥimtahu Wa Dhalika Huwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
And save them from the sins. And whoever You save from the sins, on that Day, You have granted him mercy. And such is the great triumph.
41:35
وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلاَّ ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيم ٍ
Wa Mā Yulaqqāhā 'Illā Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Wa Mā Yulaqqāhā 'Illā Dhū Ĥažžin `Ažīmin
And none can attain this except those who are patient. And none can attain this except those who are extremely fortunate.
42:4
لَه ُُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'ArĐi Wa Huwa Al-`Alīyu Al-`Ažīmu
To Him belongs all what is in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Most High, the Great.
43:31
وَقَالُوا لَوْلاَ نُزِّلَ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى رَجُل ٍ مِنَ الْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيم ٍ
Wa Qālū Lawlā Nuzzila Hādhā Al-Qur'ānu `Alá Rajulin Mina Al-Qaryatayni `Ažīmin
And they said: If only this Quran was sent down to a man of greatness from the two towns!
44:57
فَضْلا ً مِنْ رَبِّكَ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
FaĐlāan Min Rabbika Dhālika Huwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
As a blessing from your Lord. Such is the great triumph.
45:10
مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَلاَ يُغْنِي عَنْهُمْ مَا كَسَبُوا شَيْئا ً وَلاَ مَا اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Min Warā'ihim Jahannamu Wa Lā Yughnī `Anhum Mā Kasabū Shay'āan Wa Lā Mā Attakhadhū Min Dūni Allāhi 'Awliyā'a Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
Waiting for them is Hell. And that which they earned will not help them, nor those whom they have taken as allies besides God, and for them is a terrible retribution.
46:21
وَاذْكُرْ أَخَا عَاد ٍ إِذْ أَنْذَرَ قَوْمَه ُُ بِالأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ~ِ أَلاَّ تَعْبُدُوا إِلاَّ اللَّهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Wa Adhkur 'Akhā `Ādin 'Idh 'Andhara Qawmahu Bil-'Aĥqāfi Wa Qad Khalati An-Nudhuru Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Min Khalfihi 'Allā Ta`budū 'Illā Allāha 'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin
And recall that the brethren of `Aad warned his people at the dunes, while numerous warnings were also delivered before him and with him: You shall not serve except God. For I fear for you the retribution of a great day.
48:5
لِيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ فَوْزاً عَظِيما ً
Liyudkhila Al-Mu'uminīna Wa Al-Mu'umināti Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa Yukaffira `Anhum Sayyi'ātihim Wa Kāna Dhālika `Inda Allāhi Fawzāan `Ažīmāan
That He may admit the believing males and believing females into gardens with rivers flowing beneath them, abiding therein, and He will forgive their sins for them. And with God this is a great triumph.
48:10
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُبَايِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُونَ اللَّهَ يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَمَنْ نَكَثَ فَإِنَّمَا يَنْكُثُ عَلَى نَفْسِه ِِ وَمَنْ أَوْفَى بِمَا عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهُ اللَّهَ فَسَيُؤْتِيهِ~ِ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yubāyi`ūnaka 'Innamā Yubāyi`ūna Allāha Yadu Allāhi Fawqa 'Aydīhim Faman Nakatha Fa'innamā Yankuthu `Alá Nafsihi Wa Man 'Awfá Bimā `Āhada `Alayhu Allāha Fasayu'utīhi 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
Those who pledge allegiance to you, are in-fact pledging allegiance to God; the hand of God is above their hands. Those of them who violate such a pledge, are violating it only for themselves. And whoever fulfills what he has pledged to God, then He will grant him a great re ward.
48:29
مُحَمَّد ٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ~ُ أَشِدَّاءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ رُحَمَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ تَرَاهُمْ رُكَّعا ً سُجَّدا ً يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلا ً مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانا ً سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ ذَلِكَ مَثَلُهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِي الإِنجِيلِ كَزَرْعٍ أَخْرَجَ شَطْأَه ُُ فَآزَرَه ُُ فَاسْتَغْلَظَ فَاسْتَوَى عَلَى سُوقِه ِِ يُعْجِبُ الزُّرَّاعَ لِيَغِيظَ بِهِمُ الْكُفَّارَ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْهُمْ مَغْفِرَة ً وَأَجْراً عَظِيما ً
Muĥammadun Rasūlu Allāhi Wa Al-Ladhīna Ma`ahu 'Ashiddā'u `Alá Al-Kuffāri Ruĥamā'u Baynahum Tarāhum Rukka`āan Sujjadāan Yabtaghūna FaĐlāan Mina Allāhi Wa RiĐwānāan Sīmāhum Fī Wujūhihim Min 'Athari As-Sujūdi Dhālika Mathaluhum Fī At-Tawrāati Wa Mathaluhum Fī Al-'Injīli Kazar`in 'Akhraja Shaţ'ahu Fa'āzarahu Fāstaghlaža Fāstawá `Alá Sūqihi Yu`jibu Az-Zurrā`a Liyaghīža Bihimu Al-Kuffāra Wa`ada Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Minhum Maghfiratan Wa 'Ajrāan `Ažīmāan
Mohammed is the messenger of God, and those who are with him are severe against the rejecters, but merciful between themselves. You see them kneeling and prostrating, they seek the blessings and approval of God. Their distinction is in their faces, as a result of prostrating. Such is their example in the Torah. And their example in the Gospel is like a plant which shoots out and becomes strong and thick and it stands straight on its trunk, pleasing to the farmers. That He may enrage the rejecters with them. God promises those among them who believe and do good works a forgiveness and a great reward.
49:3
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَاتَهُمْ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُوْلَائِكَ الَّذِينَ امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَى لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَة ٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيم ٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna YaghuĐĐūna 'Aşwātahum `Inda Rasūli Allāhi 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Amtaĥana Allāhu Qulūbahum Lilttaqwá Lahum Maghfiratun Wa 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
Surely, those who lower their voices with the messenger of God, they are the ones whose hearts have been tested by God for righteousness. They have deserved forgiveness and a great recompense.
56:46
وَكَانُوا يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى الْحِنثِ الْعَظِيمِ
Wa Kānū Yuşirrūna `Alá Al-Ĥinthi Al-`Ažīmi
And they persisted in the great oathbreaking.
56:74
فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ
Fasabbiĥ Biāsmi Rabbika Al-`Ažīmi
You shall glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.
56:76
وَإِنَّه ُُ لَقَسَم ٌ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa 'Innahu Laqasamun Law Ta`lamūna `Ažīmun
This is an oath, if only you knew, that is great.
56:96
فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ
Fasabbiĥ Biāsmi Rabbika Al-`Ažīmi
You shall glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.
57:10
وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلاَّ تُنْفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ لاَ يَسْتَوِي مِنْكُمْ مَنْ أَنْفَقَ مِنْ قَبْلِ الْفَتْحِ وَقَاتَلَ أُوْلَائِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَة ً مِنَ الَّذِينَ أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ بَعْدُ وَقَاتَلُوا وَكُلاّ ً وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَى وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِير ٌ
Wa Mā Lakum 'Allā Tunfiqū Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa Lillahi Mīrāthu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'ArĐi Lā Yastawī Minkum Man 'Anfaqa Min Qabli Al-Fatĥi Wa Qātala 'Ūlā'ika 'A`žamu Darajatan Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Anfaqū Min Ba`du Wa Qātalū Wa Kullāan Wa`ada Allāhu Al-Ĥusná Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Khabīrun
And why do you not spend in the cause of God, when God possesses all wealth in the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the victory and fought. They attained a greater rank than those who spent after the victory and fought. And for each, Godpromises goodness. And God is Expert in everything you do.
57:12
يَوْمَ تَرَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَسْعَى نُورُهُمْ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِمْ بُشْرَاكُمُ الْيَوْمَ جَنَّات ٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Yawma Tará Al-Mu'uminīna Wa Al-Mu'umināti Yas`á Nūruhum Bayna 'Aydīhim Wa Bi'aymānihim Bushrākumu Al-Yawma Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Dhālika Huwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
The Day will come when you see the believing males and the believing females with their light radiating around them and to their right. Good news is yours today, you will have estates with rivers flowing beneath them; abiding therein. This is the great triumph!
57:21
سَابِقُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَة ٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ أُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِه ِِ ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
Sābiqū 'Ilá Maghfiratin Min Rabbikum Wa Jannatin `ArĐuhā Ka`arĐi As-Samā'i Wa Al-'ArĐi 'U`iddat Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Billāhi Wa Rusulihi Dhālika FaĐlu Allāhi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-FaĐli Al-`Ažīmi
You shall race towards forgiveness from your Lord, and a Paradise whose width is as the width of the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believed in God and His messengers. Such is the grace of God that He bestows upon whoever He wills. God is the Possessor of Infinite Grace.
57:29
لِئَلاَّ يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَلاَّ يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَى شَيْء ٍ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَأَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
Li'allā Ya`lama 'Ahlu Al-Kitābi 'Allā Yaqdirūna `Alá Shay'in Min FaĐli Allāhi Wa 'Anna Al-FaĐla Biyadi Allāhi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-FaĐli Al-`Ažīmi
So that the followers of the Book should know that they have no power over the grace of God, and that all grace is in the hand of God. He bestows it upon whoever He wills. God is Possessor of Infinite Grace.
61:12
يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَة ً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْن ٍ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum Wa Yudkhilkum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Wa Masākina Ţayyibatan Fī Jannāti `Adnin Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
He will then forgive your sins, and admit you into estates with rivers flowing beneath them, and beautiful mansions in gardens of delight. This is the great triumph.
62:4
ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
Dhālika FaĐlu Allāhi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-FaĐli Al-`Ažīmi
Such is the grace of God, which He bestows upon whoever He wills. God is Possessor of Infinite Grace.
64:9
يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحا ً يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِه ِِ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدا ً ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Yawma Yajma`ukum Liyawmi Al-Jam`i Dhālika Yawmu At-Taghābuni Wa Man Yu'umin Billāhi Wa Ya`mal Şāliĥāan Yukaffir `Anhu Sayyi'ātihi Wa Yudkhilhu Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā 'Abadāan Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
The Day when He will gather you; the Day of Gathering; that is the Day of mutual blaming. And whoever believes in God and does good works, He will forgive his sins, and will admit him into estates with rivers flowing beneath them, abiding therein eternally. Such is the great triumph.
64:15
إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلاَدُكُمْ فِتْنَة ٌ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ~ُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيم ٌ
'Innamā 'Amwālukum Wa 'Awlādukum Fitnatun Wa Allāhu `Indahu 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
Your money and children are a test, and with Godis a great recompense.
68:4
وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلى خُلُقٍ عَظِيم ٍ
Wa 'Innaka La`alá Khuluqin `Ažīmin
And you are of a high moral character.
69:33
إِنَّه ُُ كَانَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
'Innahu Kāna Lā Yu'uminu Billāhi Al-`Ažīmi
For he did not believe in God, the Great.
69:52
فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ
Fasabbiĥ Biāsmi Rabbika Al-`Ažīmi
Therefore, you shall glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.
73:20
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَى مِنْ ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَه ُُ وَثُلُثَه ُُ وَطَائِفَة ٌ مِنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَنْ لَنْ تُحْصُوه ُُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَلِمَ أَنْ سَيَكُونُ مِنْكُمْ مَرْضَى وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَنا ً وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأنْفُسِكُمْ مِنْ خَيْر ٍ تَجِدُوه ُُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرا ً وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرا ً وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
'Inna Rabbaka Ya`lamu 'Annaka Taqūmu 'Adná Min Thuluthayi Al-Layli Wa Nişfahu Wa Thuluthahu Wa Ţā'ifatun Mina Al-Ladhīna Ma`aka Wa Allāhu Yuqaddiru Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra `Alima 'An Lan Tuĥşūhu Fatāba `Alaykum Fāqra'ū Mā Tayassara Mina Al-Qur'āni `Alima 'An Sayakūnu Minkum MarĐá Wa 'Ākharūna YaĐribūna Fī Al-'ArĐi Yabtaghūna Min FaĐli Allāhi Wa 'Ākharūna Yuqātilūna Fī Sabīli Allāhi Fāqra'ū Mā Tayassara Minhu Wa 'Aqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Ātū Az-Zakāata Wa 'AqriĐū Allāha QarĐāan Ĥasanāan Wa Mā Tuqaddimū Li'nfusikum Min Khayrin Tajidūhu `Inda Allāhi Huwa Khayrāan Wa 'A`žama 'Ajrāan Wa Astaghfirū Allāha 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
Your Lord knows that you rise a little less than two thirds of the night, and half of it, and one third of it; and a group of those who are with you. And God measures the night and the day. He knows that you will not be able to keep-up, so He pardons you. So read what is made easy of the Quran. He knows that there will be sick among you, and others that go forth in the land seeking from the bounty of God, and others who are fighting in the cause of God, so read what you can of it. And hold the contact prayer and contribute towards purification and lend God a loan of righteousness. And whatever you put forth yourselves, you will find it with God, for it is better and a greater reward. And seek the forgiveness of God, for God is Forgiving, Merciful.

أَوْ كَالَّذِي مَرَّ عَلَى قَرْيَة ٍ وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَى عُرُوشِهَا قَالَ أَنَّى يُحْيِي هَذِهِ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا فَأَمَاتَهُ اللَّهُ مِائَةَ عَام ٍ ثُمَّ بَعَثَه ُُ قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَ قَالَ لَبِثْتُ يَوْماً أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْم ٍ قَالَ بَلْ لَبِثْتَ مِائَةَ عَام ٍ فَانظُرْ إِلَى طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْ وَانظُرْ إِلَى حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ آيَة ً لِلنَّاسِ وَانظُرْ إِلَى الْعِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوهَا لَحْما ً فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَه ُُ قَالَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ قَدِير ٌ
'Aw Kālladhī Marra `Alá Qaryatin Wa Hiya Khāwiyatun `Alá `Urūshihā Qāla 'Anná Yuĥyī Hadhihi Allāhu Ba`da Mawtihā Fa'amātahu Allāhu Miā'ata `Āmin Thumma Ba`athahu Qāla Kam Labithta Qāla Labithtu Yawmāan 'Aw Ba`Đa Yawmin Qāla Bal Labithta Miā'ata `Āmin Fānžur 'Ilá Ţa`āmika Wa Sharābika Lam Yatasannah Wa Anžur 'Ilá Ĥimārika Wa Linaj`alaka 'Āyatan Lilnnāsi Wa Anžur 'Ilá Al-`Ižāmi Kayfa Nunshizuhā Thumma Naksūhā Laĥmāan Falammā Tabayyana Lahu Qāla 'A`lamu 'Anna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun
Or the one who passed through a town which had become ruins. He said: "How can God possibly revive this after it had died?" So God put him to death for one hundred years, then He resurrected him. He said: "How long have you stayed here?" He said: "I have stayed here a day or part of a day." He said: "No, you have stayed here for one hundred years! Look at your food and drink, they have not changed, but look at your donkey! And We will make you a sign for the people; and look at the bones how We expand them, then We cover them with flesh." So when it was clear to him what happened, he said: "I now know that God is capable of all things!"
6:146
وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُر ٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْم ٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُمْ بِبَغْيِهِمْ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
Wa `Alá Al-Ladhīna Hādū Ĥarramnā Kulla Dhī žufurin Wa Mina Al-Baqari Wa Al-Ghanami Ĥarramnā `Alayhim Shuĥūmahumā 'Illā Mā Ĥamalat žuhūruhumā 'Awi Al-Ĥawāyā 'Aw Mā Akhtalaţa Bi`ažmin Dhālika Jazaynāhum Bibaghyihim Wa 'Innā Laşādiqūna
And for those who are Jewish We have made unlawful all that have claws; and from the cattle and the sheep We made unlawful their fat except what is attached to the back, or entrails, or mixed with bone. That is a punishment for their rebellion, and We are truthful.
17:49
وَقَالُوا أَئِذَا كُنَّا عِظَاما ً وَرُفَاتاً أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقا ً جَدِيدا ً
Wa Qālū 'A'idhā Kunnā `Ižāmāan Wa Rufātāan 'A'innā Lamab`ūthūna Khalqāan Jadīdāan
And they said: "When we are bones and fragments, will we then be resurrected to a new creation?"
17:98
ذَلِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَقَالُوا أَئِذَا كُنَّا عِظَاما ً وَرُفَاتاً أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقا ً جَدِيدا ً
Dhālika Jazā'uuhum Bi'annahum Kafarū Bi'āyātinā Wa Qālū 'A'idhā Kunnā `Ižāmāan Wa Rufātāan 'A'innā Lamab`ūthūna Khalqāan Jadīdāan
Such is their recompense that they rejected Our revelations, and they said: "If we are bones and fragments, will we be sent into a new creation?"
19:4
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ الْعَظْمُ مِنِّي وَاشْتَعَلَ الرَّأْسُ شَيْبا ً وَلَمْ أَكُنْ بِدُعَائِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيّا ً
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī Wahana Al-`Ažmu Minnī Wa Ashta`ala Ar-Ra'su Shaybāan Wa Lam 'Akun Bidu`ā'ika Rabbi Shaqīyāan
He said: "My Lord, my bones have gone frail, and my hair has turned white, and I have never been mischievous in imploring You my Lord."
23:14
ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَة ً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَة ً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظَاما ً فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظَامَ لَحْما ً ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَاه ُُ خَلْقا ً آخَرَ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ
Thumma Khalaqnā An-Nuţfata `Alaqatan Fakhalaqnā Al-`Alaqata MuĐghatan Fakhalaqnā Al-MuĐghata `Ižāmāan Fakasawnā Al-`Ižāma Laĥmāan Thumma 'Ansha'nāhu Khalqāan 'Ākhara Fatabāraka Allāhu 'Aĥsanu Al-Khāliqīna
Then We created the seed into an embryo, then We created the embryo into a fetus, then We created the fetus into bone, then We covered the bone with flesh, then We brought forth a new creation. So glory be to God, the best of creators.
23:14
ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَة ً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَة ً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظَاما ً فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظَامَ لَحْما ً ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَاه ُُ خَلْقا ً آخَرَ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ
Thumma Khalaqnā An-Nuţfata `Alaqatan Fakhalaqnā Al-`Alaqata MuĐghatan Fakhalaqnā Al-MuĐghata `Ižāmāan Fakasawnā Al-`Ižāma Laĥmāan Thumma 'Ansha'nāhu Khalqāan 'Ākhara Fatabāraka Allāhu 'Aĥsanu Al-Khāliqīna

23:35
أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَابا ً وَعِظَاماً أَنَّكُمْ مُخْرَجُونَ
'Aya`idukum 'Annakum 'Idhā Mittum Wa Kuntum Turābāan Wa `Ižāmāan 'Annakum Mukhrajūna
"Does he promise you that if you die and become dust and bones that you will be brought out?"
23:82
قَالُوا أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابا ً وَعِظَاماً أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
Qālū 'A'idhā Mitnā Wa Kunnā Turābāan Wa `Ižāmāan 'A'innā Lamab`ūthūna
They said: "If we are dead and become dust and bones, will we then be resurrected?"
36:78
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلا ً وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَه ُُ قَالَ مَنْ يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيم ٌ
Wa Đaraba Lanā Mathalāan Wa Nasiya Khalqahu Qāla Man Yuĥyī Al-`Ižāma Wa Hiya Ramīmun
And he puts forth an example for Us, while forgetting his own creation! He says: Who can resurrect the bones while they are dust?
37:16
أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابا ً وَعِظَاماً أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
'A'idhā Mitnā Wa Kunnā Turābāan Wa `Ižāmāan 'A'innā Lamab`ūthūna
Can it be that after we die and become dust and bones, that we are resurrected?
37:53
أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابا ً وَعِظَاماً أَئِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
'A'idhā Mitnā Wa Kunnā Turābāan Wa `Ižāmāan 'A'innā Lamadīnūna
That if we die and turn into dust and bones, that we would be called to account?
56:47
وَكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابا ً وَعِظَاماً أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
Wa Kānū Yaqūlūna 'A'idhā Mitnā Wa Kunnā Turābāan Wa `Ižāmāan 'A'innā Lamab`ūthūna
And they used to say: After we die and turn to dust and bones, we will get resurrected?
75:3
أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَلَّنْ نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ
'Ayaĥsabu Al-'Insānu 'Allan Najma`a `Ižāmahu
Does man think that We will not gather his bones?
79:11
أَئِذَا كُنَّا عِظَاما ً نَخِرَة ً
'A'idhā Kunnā `Ižāmāan Nakhirahan
Even after we were crumbled bones?

ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ يُعَظِّمْ حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيْر ٌ لَه ُُ عِنْدَ رَبِّه ِِ وَأُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الأَنعَام إِلاَّ مَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الأَوْثَانِ وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ
Dhālika Wa Man Yu`ažžim Ĥurumāti Allāhi Fahuwa Khayrun Lahu `Inda Rabbihi Wa 'Uĥillat Lakumu Al-'An`ām 'Illā Mā Yutlá `Alaykum Fājtanibū Ar-Rijsa Mina Al-'Awthāni Wa Ajtanibū Qawla Az-Zūri
Thus, and whoever honors the restrictions of God, then it is better for him with His Lord. And the livestock has been made lawful for you; except what is being recited to you; so avoid the foulness of idols and avoid saying false statements.
22:32
ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ
Dhālika Wa Man Yu`ažžim Sha`ā'ira Allāhi Fa'innahā Min Taqwá Al-Qulūbi
Thus, and whoever honors the symbols of God, then it is from the piety of the hearts.

ذَلِكَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ أَنزَلَهُ~ُ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِه ِِ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهُ~ُ أَجْرا ً
Dhālika 'Amru Allāhi 'Anzalahu 'Ilaykum Wa Man Yattaqi Allāha Yukaffir `Anhu Sayyi'ātihi Wa Yu`žim Lahu 'Ajrāan
This is the command of God that He sends down to you. And anyone who is aware of God, He will forgive his sins, and will improve his reward.
