| Arabic | | وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَىٰ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِير |  |

| (is) the Guidance." | l-hudā | الْهُدَى | ه د ى | |
| And if | wala-ini | وَلَئِنِ | ل ا ن | |
| you follow | ittabaʿta | اتَّبَعْتَ | ت ب ع | |
| their desires | ahwāahum | أَهْوَاءَهُمْ | ه و ى | |
| what | alladhī | الَّذِي | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| has come to you | jāaka | جَاءَكَ | ج ى ا | |
| the knowledge, | l-ʿil'mi | الْعِلْمِ | ع ل م | |
| protector | waliyyin | وَلِيٍّ | و ل ى | |
| any helper. | naṣīrin | نَصِيرٍ | ن ص ر | |
