| Arabic | | وَالَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّار |  |

| And those who | | wa-alladhīna | | وَالَّذِينَ | | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| (are) patient, | | ṣabarū | | صَبَرُوا | | ص ب ر | |
| seeking | | ib'tighāa | | ابْتِغَاءَ | | ب غ ى | |
| (the) Face | | wajhi | | وَجْهِ | | و ج ه | |
| (of) their Lord | | rabbihim | | رَبِّهِمْ | | ر ب ب | |
| and establish | | wa-aqāmū | | وَأَقَامُوا | | ق و م | |
| the prayer | | l-ṣalata | | الصَّلَوةَ | | ص ل و | |
| and spend | | wa-anfaqū | | وَأَنْفَقُوا | | ن ف ق | |
| from what | | mimmā | | مِمَّا | | م م ا | |
| We have provided them, | | razaqnāhum | | رَزَقْنَاهُمْ | | ر ز ق | |
| secretly | | sirran | | سِرًّا | | س ر ر | |
| and publicly | | waʿalāniyatan | | وَعَلَانِيَةً | | ع ل ن | |
| and they repel | | wayadraūna | | وَيَدْرَءُونَ | | د ر ا | |
| with the good | | bil-ḥasanati | | بِالْحَسَنَةِ | | ح س ن | |
| the evil - | | l-sayi-ata | | السَّيِّئَةَ | | س و ء | |
| those | | ulāika | | أُولَئِكَ | | ا و ل ا ء | |
| (is) the final attainment | | ʿuq'bā | | عُقْبَى | | ع ق ب | |
| (of) the Home - | | l-dāri | | الدَّارِ | | د و ر | |
