To repel, revert, drive off; put off, avert, overcome, combat, quarrel, urge, rush suddenly, repel in a quarrel, disagree.
Yadra'u

You quarelled among yourselves; differed among yourselves

13:22
وَالَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَأَنفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرّا ً وَعَلاَنِيَة ً وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ أُوْلَائِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Abtighā'a Wajhi Rabbihim Wa 'Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Anfaqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Sirrāan Wa `Alāniyatan Wa Yadra'ūna Bil-Ĥasanati As-Sayyi'ata 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Uqbá Ad-Dāri
And those who are patient seeking the face of their Lord; and they hold the contact prayer, and they spend from what We have bestowed upon them secretly and openly, and they counter evil with good; these will have an excellent abode.
24:8
وَيَدْرَأُ عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ أَنْ تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَات ٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّه ُُ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ
Wa Yadra'u `Anhā Al-`Adhāba 'An Tash/hada 'Arba`a Shahādātin Billāhi 'Innahu Lamina Al-Kādhibīna
And the punishment will be averted from her if she bears witness four times by God that he is of the liars.
28:54
أُوْلَائِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُمْ مَرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
'Ūlā'ika Yu'utawna 'Ajrahum Marratayni Bimā Şabarū Wa Yadra'ūna Bil-Ĥasanati As-Sayyi'ata Wa Mimmā Razaqnāhum Yunfiqūna
To these We grant twice the reward for that they have been patient. And they counter evil with good, and from Our provisions to them, they give.

3:168
الَّذِينَ قَالُوا لِأخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوا لَوْ أَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُوا قُلْ فَادْرَءُوا عَنْ أَنْفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Al-Ladhīna Qālū Li'khwānihim Wa Qa`adū Law 'Aţā`ūnā Mā Qutilū Qul Fādra'ū `An 'Anfusikumu Al-Mawta 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna
Those who remained and said to their brothers: "If they obeyed us they would not have been killed." Say: "Then avert death away from yourselves if you are truthful!"

2:72
وَإِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسا ً فَادَّارَأْتُمْ فِيهَا وَاللَّهُ مُخْرِج ٌ مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ
Wa 'Idh Qataltum Nafsāan Fa Addāra'tum Fīhā Wa Allāhu Mukhrijun Mā Kuntum Taktumūna
And you had murdered a person, then disputed in the matter; God was to bring out what you were keeping secret.
