Then if they endure, the Fire (is) an abode for them; and if they ask for favor, then not they (will be) of those who receive favor.
And then, [even] if they endure [their lot] in patience, the fire will still be their abode; and if they pray to be allowed to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so
And though they are resigned, yet the Fire is still their home; and if they ask for favour, yet they are not of those unto whom favour can be shown
If, then, they have patience, the Fire will be a home for them! and if they beg to be received into favour, into favour will they not (then) be received
Even if they endure patiently, the Fire will ˹always˺ be their home. And if they ˹beg to˺ appease ˹their Lord˺, they will never be allowed to.
So [even] if they are patient, the Fire will be their home, and if they plead for a favor, none will be given them,
Even if they are patient, the Fire will still be their homes. And if they pray to be allowed to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so
Then if they will endure, still the fire is their abode, and if they ask for goodwill, then are they not of those who shall be granted goodwill
Then, even if they endure patiently, yet the fire will be the place of lodging for them. And if they ask for favor, yet they will not be of the ones to whom favor is shown.
Even if they are patient, the Fire will still be a lodging for them, while if they want their case to be reviewed, they will not be granted any review;
Then, whether they have patience (or not), the fire will be a home for them, and if they beg to be excused, they are not those who will ever be excused.
Then if they are patient, the Fire shall be an abode for them. And if they seek favor, they will not be granted favor
If they endure patiently, the Fire is their destination. If they try to justify themselves, they won’t be pardoned.
If they endure patiently, the Fire will be their residence; and if they make up excuses, they will not be pardoned
And (even) if they showed patience, yet the Fire is their abode. And if they bring an excuse, then they are not whose excuse is entertained
Then, whether they have patience or not, the fire will still be their home, and even if they beg for pardon, it shall not be granted to them
So in case they (endure) patiently, then the Fire will be a lodging for them, and in case they ask amends, yet in no way will they be (allowed) to make amends
Even if they were to exercise patience, their dwelling would still be hell fire. Even if they were to seek favors, they would receive none
Now, if they endure patiently, even then the Fire is their abode, and if they seek forgiveness, they are not among those (who could be) forgiven
And even if they bear with patience, the Fire will be their home. And if they ask to be allowed to make amends, their request will not be granted. (16:84)
(It does not matter) even if you bear your punishment patiently. The hellfire would be your abode! And if you seek to atone and make amends, you would not be excused
Then, let them have patience, then (later) the Fire will be a Home for them! And if they beg to be received to please (Allah); They will not be among those who will ever please (Him)
So [even] if they are patient, the Fire is a residence for them; and if they ask to appease [ Allah ], they will not be of those who are allowed to appease
If they wait, then the Fire will be their destiny, and if they beg to be excused, they will not be excused
The Fire will still be their home, even if they resign themselves to patience, and if they pray to be allowed to make amends, they will not be given permission to do so
Then if they are patient, the Fire is their home, and if they seek to please Allah, they will not be of those who are allowed to please Allah
Even if they are patient, their abode is Hell; and if they beg for favour, none will favour them
If they are steadfast, the Fire will still be their residence! If they ask for favour, no favour will be given.
If they endure it (or do not endure it), still the Fire will be an everlasting dwelling for them. If they ask for favor (to be saved from it, or do not ask), still they are not of those who will be shown favor (and saved)
Should they be patient, the Fire is their abode; and should they seek to propitiate, they will not be redeemed
Then though they are resigned, still the fire is their abode, and if they ask for favour, yet are they not of those unto whom favour can be shown
And if they are patient, then (they will find out that) the fire is the place for them, and if they want to plea (to appease God), they are not of those whose plea is accepted.
Even if then they have patience, the fire will be a home for them, and if they beg for favor, favor they will not receive
Even if they are patient now, the Fire will be their home. No matter how much forgiveness they seek, they won’t be pardoned
In this state, whether they bear with patience (or not), Fire alone shall be their abode. And if they seek to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so
If they wait, then the Fire will be their destiny, and if they beg to be excused, they will not be excused
Whether they patiently bear their suffering or not, they shall continue to abide is Hell! And if they beg for favour, they shall not be among the recepients thereof
Then if they endure, the fire is their destination. And they beg to please Allah, then none would accept their pleasing.
If they continue the way they are, Hell will be their destiny, and if they make up excuses, they will not be excused.
Even if they are patient the Fire shall still be their lodging, and if they seek pardon, they shall not be among those who are pardoned
Then if they are patient, the Fire is their abode. And if they ask for goodwill, they are not of those who are granted goodwill
So if they be patient so the fire (is a) residence/dwelling for them, and if they offer reconciliation , so they are not from the permitted to offer reconciliation
If the disbelievers insist upon their attitude and way of life, they will end up in Hell no matter what excuse they come up with
Then if they are patient, even then the fire is their home; and if they plead, none will listen to their pleading
Now if they can endure, the Fire is their abode; and if they ask for favour, they are not of those whom favour will be shown
Now even if they keep patience, their abode is Hell; and if they seek to earn (Allah’s) pleasure (by turning to Him in repentance), even then they will not be amongst those who attain to Allah’s pleasure
Now, if (in this state of theirs) they show patience (even then) the Fire is their resort. And if they ask to be allowed to approach the threshold (of God's Throne) they will not be of those who are allowed to approach the threshold (to seek His forgiveness and mercy)
Then, if they have patience, yet the Fire will be a home for them, and if they beg for to be excused, yet they are not of those who will ever be excused
Then if they persist, the Fire shall be a lodging for them; and if they ask amends yet no amends shall be made to them
Whether they bear their torment, hell fire shall be their abode; or whether they beg for favour, they shall not obtain favour
And if they are patient, still the fire is a resort for them; and if they ask for favour again, they shall not be taken into favour
And be they patient, still the fire shall be their abode: or if they beg for favour, yet shall they not be of favoured
If they persist, the Fire shall be their home: and if they sue for pardon, their suit shall not be granted
If they show patience, the fire is yet an abode for them and if they seek to be pleased with, they are not among those who will be pleased with.
So, if they endure (the punishment), still the Fire is their everlasting abode. And if they ask for favor, then are they of those who are barred from receiving favors.
So if they are patient, the fire is their home, and if they ask for reprieve, they will not be reprieved.
If they endure, the fire will be their residence. If they beg for favor, they will not be among those who receive favor.
So even if they endure patiently, the Fire is (still) a dwelling for them; and if they ask to make amends, they will not be allowed to amend.
Even if they are patient, the Fire will still be a lodging for them, while if they want their case to be reviewed, they will not be granted any review;
So, if they be patient, so the Fire is for them dwell; and if they are admonished (to appease God), so they are not among the allowed to appease God.
So even if they patiently endure it (thinking it will pass) the Fire is their abode! If they try to please (their Rabb, presenting excuses) they will not be of those whose excuses are accepted and appeased.
So if they are patient ( even ) then the fire is the home for them, and if they seek goodwill, then they will not be of those who will be granted goodwill.
And now if they prefer O Muhammad to sit like patience on a monument smiling at grief, nonetheless, they are destined to the abode in Hell. If they invoke Allah's forgiveness, never will heaven respond favourably to their invocation
Then if they are patient, then the fire is an abode for them; and if they ask to be regarded with favour, then they are not of those who are regarded with favour.
If, then, they have patience, the Fire will be a home for them! and if they beg to be received into favour, into favour will they not (then) be received
Then if they endure, the Fire (is) an abode for them; and if they ask for favor, then not they (will be) of those who receive favor
