wakadhālika fatannā baʿḍahum bibaʿḍin liyaqūlū ahāulāi manna l-lahu ʿalayhim min bayninā alaysa l-lahu bi-aʿlama bil-shākirīn
And thus We try some of them with others that they say, "Are these (whom) has favored Allah [upon them] from among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful?
For it is in this way that We try men through one another - to the end that they might ask, "Has God, then, bestowed His favour upon those others in preference to us?" Does not God know best as to who is grateful [to Him]
And even so do We try some of them by others, that they say: Are these they whom Allah favoureth among us? Is not Allah best Aware of the thanksgivers
Thus did We try some of them by comparison with others, that they should say: "Is it these then that Allah hath favoured from amongst us?" Doth not Allah know best those who are grateful
In this way We have tested some by means of others, so those ˹disbelievers˺ may say, “Has Allah favoured these ˹poor believers˺ out of all of us?” Does Allah not best recognize the grateful?
We have made some of them a test for others, to make the unbelievers say, "Is it these men that God has favored among us?" Does God not know best who is grateful [to Him]?
In this way We try some of them by means of others, so that they may ask, Are these [lowly ones] whom God has singled out for His favours from among us? Does God not know best who are the grateful ones
And thus do We try some of them by others so that they say: Are these they upon whom Allah has conferred benefit from among us? Does not Allah best know the grateful
Thus, We tried some of them with others that they should say: Is it these to whom God showed grace from among us? Is not God greater in knowledge of the ones who are thankful?
Even so do We try some of them by means of others, so they may say: "Are those the ones among us towards whom God has been gracious? Is God not quite Aware as to who are grateful?"
Thus We have tested some of them (poor believers) with others (chiefs of Quraish) so that they might say: “Are these (poor) people whom Allah has favored from amongst us?” Does not Allah know better the thankful ones?
Thus did We try some of them by means of others, that they might say, “Are these the ones whom God has graced among us?” Does God not know best those who are thankful
Thus We have tested some of them with some (others) so that they might say: “Are these (ordinary people) Allah has showered favour over them from amongst us?” Is not Allah One Who knows more about those who are grateful
That’s how We have made some of them (poor and slaves who accepted Islam) a means for testing the others (the chiefs of Qureysh), so that they should say: "Are these the people whom Allah favors among us (the poor, indigent and low class)?" Well, does Allah not know best those who are grateful
Thus We try some of them by means of others, that they may say, 'Are these the ones whom God has favored from among us?' Is God not aware of the appreciative
And thus We have tempted some of them by (others) (Literally: by some "others") that they may say, "Are these (the ones) Allah has been bounteous to among us?" Is not Allah the Best Knower of the thankful
We test some of them by the conditions of the others so that the rich and proud ones (seeing your poor and humble followers) would say, "Are these the ones from among all of us whom God has chosen to favor?" Does not God know those who give thanks (much better than others do)
Thus We have tested some of them through others, so that they should say, .Are these the ones among all of us whom Allah has chosen for His favour?. Yes, does Allah not know well who are the grateful
We thus let people distinguish one another's egos. The elite among them say, "Are these the people among us whom Allah has favored?" But, is not Allah best Aware of the appreciative
Thus, We test some of them by means of others. That is why they say, "Are these the ones among us whom Allah has chosen over us?" Isn´t Allah better Aware of the grateful ones
It is like this We have tried some of them by others, in case they may say: "Is it because Allah has favored these ones from among us?" Does Allah not know best those who are grateful
And thus We have tried some of them through others that the disbelievers might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful
And it is such that We test them with one another, so that they may Say: "Are these the ones whom God has blessed from amongst us" Is God not aware of the thankfu
We have made some of them a test for others, to make the disbelievers say, ‘Is it these men that God has favoured among us?’ Does God not know best who are the grateful ones
And Thus We have tried some of them by means of others, that they might say: are those they whom God hath favoured amongst us? Is not Allah the Best Knower of the thankful
Thus do We try men through one another so that they may ask: "Are these the ones of all of us who have been favoured by God?" Does God not know who are the grateful
In this way We try some of them by means of others so that they say, ´Are these the people among us to whom Allah has shown His favour?´ Does not Allah know best those who are thankful
And it is in this way that We try people through one another: so that they (who think that such things as wealth and social status are the means of superiority) say (of the believers who are poor and lacking in recognized social status): "Are these the ones among us on whom God has bestowed His favor?" Does God not know best who are the thankful (who recognize the real source and bestower of every good thing one receives, and act accordingly)
Thus do We test them by means of one another so that they should say, ‘Are these the ones whom Allah has favoured from among us?!’ Does not Allah know best the grateful?
Thus did We try some of them by (or in comparison with) others, that they may say, "Are these those unto whom Allah has been gracious amongst us?" Does not Allah know those who give thanks
And that is how We tested some of them by the others, so that they say: are these the ones whom God favored upon them among us? Does not God know the thankful ones better
So We tried some of them by comparison with others so that they would say, “Is it these then who God has favored from among us?” Does God not know best those who are grateful
That is how We test some of them by means of others, so they say, “Are these the ones that Allah has favoured over us?” Doesn’t Allah know best who is grateful
Thus We have made some of them a means for testing others so that they should say: ´Are these theones among us upon whom Allah has bestowed His favour?´ Yes, does Allah not know well who are the thankful
And it is such that We test them with one another, so that they may say: "Are these the ones whom God has blessed from among us?" Is God not aware of the thankful?
And thus have We tried some of them through others, so that they say, "Are these the peoplehupon whom Allah has conferred benefits from amongst us?" Does not Allah know who the grateful are!
And thus We made one of them a trial for the other on that the wealthy infidel may say seeing the needy Muslims, 'Are these people whom Allah has favoured among us? Does not Allah know well the grateful?
We thus test the people by each other, to let them say (mockingly), "Are these the people among us who are blessed by GOD?" Is GOD not aware of the appreciative ones?
As such We have made some of them a means for testing others, so that they should say: 'Are those whom Allah favors amongst us? ' But does not Allah best know the thankful
And thus do We try some of them by others so that they say: Are these they upon whom Allah has conferred benefit from among us? Does not Allah best know the grateful
And like that We tested/allured some of them with some, to say (P): "Are those (who) God blessed on them from between us?" Is God not more knowing with the thankful/grateful
This is how I (God) test people in their daily confrontations. Thus, the disbelievers [fail in the Lord's test when they mockingly] say: "Are these [less privileged] people the preferred ones by God?" Do they not know that God knows who is the grateful and who the ungrateful
And similarly We have made some as a trial for others - that the wealthy disbelievers upon seeing the needy Muslims say, “Are these whom Allah has favoured among us?” Does not Allah recognise those who are thankful
And in the like manner have WE tried some of them by others, that they may say, `Is it these whom ALLAH has favoured from among us?' Does not ALLAH know best those who are grateful
And in this way, We put to the test some of them by means of some others so that these (affluent disbelievers seeing the poor Muslims) say (mockingly): ‘Are these the ones from amongst us upon whom Allah has bestowed His favours?’ Does Allah not know best the grateful
In this way have We made a distinction in some of them from the other with the result that they say, `Are these the ones whom Allah has favoured (by choosing them) from among us?' Does not Allah know best the grateful
Thus We have tried some of them with others, that they might say: "Is it these (poor believers) that Allah has favoured from amongst us?" Does not Allah know best those who are grateful
Even so We have tried some of them by others that they may say, Are these the ones God has been gracious to among us?' Knows not God very well the thankful
And in the like manner have We tried some of them by others, that they may say, 'Is it these whom God has favoured from among us?' Does not God know best those who are grateful
So have we tried some of them by others, that they may say, 'Are these those unto whom God has been gracious amongst ourselves?' Does not God know those who give thanks
Thus have we made proof of some of them by others, that they may say, "Are these they among us to whom God hath been gracious?" Doth not God best know the thankful
And thus have We made some among them a means for testing others, so that they should say: ‘Are these the ones God has favoured among us?‘ But does not God best know the thankful
We tested some of them by [the conditions of] others, so they might say, “Among us, are these favored by Allah?” Doesn’t Allah know best who are grateful?
Even so do We try some of them by means of others, so they (the rich disbelievers) may say: "Are those (the poor believers) the ones among us towards whom Allah (God) has been gracious (by guiding them to Islam)? Is Allah (God) not quite Aware as to who are grateful?"
It is in this way that We try some of them by means of others, so that they may say: “Are these the ones upon whom God has bestowed His favour from among us?†Does not God know best as to who is truly grateful?
Hence we tried some with others, so they say, “Did Allah bestow upon these (needy ones with little income)?”... Does Allah not know best those who appreciate?
And thus did We try some of them by others so that they (mockingly) say: 'Are these they upon whom Allah has favoured from among us ? ' Does not Allah know best the grateful ?
Thus did We take matters of fact as they were and circumstanced them after Our own manner. We gathered the rich and the poor together to try them and expose the inclination of the one in the presence of the other. And there contemptuously, said the rich who were extravagant in their accounts of themselves: "Is it these whom Allah has graced among us!" Does Allah not know best the thankful who are actuated with the feeling of gratitude
And thus do We test some of them through others, so that they say, "Are these the persons upon whom Allah has showered His favour from among us?" Is not Allah the Best Knower of those who are grateful?
Thus did We try some of them by comparison with others, that they should say: "Is it these then that God hath favoured from amongst us?" Doth not God know best those who are grateful
And thus We try some of them with others that they say, "Are these (whom) Allah has favored [upon them] from among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful
