Then when both of them had submitted and he put him down upon his forehead,
But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face
Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face
So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice)
Then when they submitted ˹to Allah’s Will˺, and Abraham laid him on his forehead ˹for sacrifice˺,
But as soon as they had both submitted to [what they thought to be] God's will, and [Abraham] had laid [his son] down on the side of his face,
When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face
So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead
Then, when they both submitted themselves to God and he flung him on his brow
When they both had committed themselves peacefully [to God] and he had placed him face down,
Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to Allah), and he laid his son prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice);
But when they had submitted and Abraham had laid him upon his forehead
So when both submitted (themselves), and he (Ibrahim) made him (Ismaiel) ready for Al-Jabeen [the forehead (i.e., , the events which Ismaiel would face as a sacrifice in the Way of Allah)]
And when they both submitted to Allah and Abraham laid down his son prostrate upon his forehead for sacrifice
Then, when they had submitted, and he put his forehead down
So, as soon as they had both surrendered, and he dashed him upon his brow
When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering)
So, (it was a great episode) when both of them submitted themselves (to Allah‘s will), and he laid him on his forehead (to slaughter him)
As both of them had surrendered themselves (to Allah), he made Ishmael prostrate on his forehead in gratitude. (Contrary to popular tradition Abraham never envisioned or intended to slaughter his son)
When both agreed to submit (their wills to Allah), the father flung his son down on his face
Then, when they both had submitted their wills (to Allah’s Wish), and he (Ibrahim) had laid him (his son, Ismail) prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice)
And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead
So when they both had surrendered, and he put his forehead down
When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on the side of his face
Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple
When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple
Then when they had both submitted and he had lain him face down on the ground,
Then when both had submitted to God’s will, and Abraham had laid him down on the side of his forehead
So when they had both submitted [to Allah’s will], and he had laid him down on his forehead
So when they had both Surrendered (unto Allah in Islam) and he threw him down upon his face
So when they both submitted and he (Abraham) put him down on the forehead
So when they both submitted their wills, and he laid him prostrate on his forehead
When both submitted and Ibrahim laid him face down,
When both surrendered (to Allah´s command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead
So when they both had submitted, and he was laid by his forehead.
And then when they had both submitted to Allah's Will, and he (Abraham) had laid him (son) upon his forehead
Then when they both submitted to My command and the father laid down his son on forehead.
They both submitted, and he put his forehead down (to sacrifice him).
And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead
So when they both submitted and he had thrown him down upon his forehead
So when they (B) submitted/surrounded and he pulled/pushed/followed him to the foreheads
When they both submitted [to what they were thinking is the Lord’s order]….
Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail
And when they both submitted to the will of God, and Abraham had thrown him down on his forehead
So when both submitted (to the will of Allah i.e., both surrendered to Allah’s command), and Ibrahim (Abraham) laid him down on his forehead—(the subsequent sight has not been described;
Now, (it so happened) when both of them submitted themselves (to the will of God) and he (- Abraham) had laid him (- Ismail) down on his forehead
Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering)
When they had surrendered, and he flung him upon his brow
And when they had submitted themselves to the divine will, and Abraham had laid his son prostrate on his face
And when they were resigned, and Abraham had thrown him down upon his forehead
And when they had surrendered them to the will of God, he laid him down upon his forehead
And when they had both submitted, and he had laid him down upon his brow
After they had both peacefully agreed, and Abraham had laid the son face down,…
When they both had committed themselves peacefully [to Allah (God)] and he had placed his face down,
When the two of them had surrendered themselves to the will of God, and Abraham laid him prostrate on his forehead,
And when they had both submitted and he lay him (Ishmael) down upon his forehead...
So when they both submitted (to Our command) and he (Abraham) laid him (the son) prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice),
And when they both had given themselves up to the course of action imposed by Allah and Ibrahim positioned his son's forehead downwards
Then, when they both submitted and he (Ibrahim) laid him down on his forehead, (at that moment)
So when they had both submitted their wills (to God), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice)
Then when both of them had submitted and he put him down upon his forehead
