And We have enjoined (upon) man for his parents - carried him his mother (in) weakness upon weakness, and his weaning (is) in two years that "Be grateful to Me and to your parents; towards Me (is) the destination.
“And [God says:] ‘We have enjoined upon man goodness towards his parents: his mother bore him by bearing strain upon strain, and his utter dependence on her lasted two years: [hence, O man,] be grateful towards Me and towards thy parents, [and remember that] with Me is all journeys’ end
And We have enjoined upon man concerning his partners - His mother beareth him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years - Give thanks unto Me and unto thy parents. Unto Me is the journeying

We have made the (care of) parents incumbent upon man. His mother carried him through the fatigue (of pregnancy) followed by the hardship (of labor). And the weaning takes two (more) years. Thank Me and your parents. (Remember)! Towards Me is your return
And We have commanded man (to be good) to his parents: In weakness and hardship his mother bore him, and in two years (after) was his weaning: (So the command of Allah is), "Show thankfulness to Me and to your parents: To Me is (your final) Destination

Now that the subject centers around the children’s’ obedience,] I have Myself made it a duty for the mankind to show the utmost respect toward his parents; especially the mother. She bears him while being always sick [due to the nature of the pregnancy.] Then it takes two years of intensive care of the mother so that the baby turns into a child. [That is why I say:] “Be grateful to your Lord and your parents.” Know that to Me is your return
And We ordained upon man concerning his parents; his mother bore him enduring weakness upon weakness, and his suckling is up to two years – therefore be thankful to Me and to your parents; finally towards Me is the return
