That he may know that I not [I] betray him in secret, and that Allah (does) not guide (the) plan (of) the betrayers."
[When Joseph learned what had happened, he said: "I asked for] this, so that [my former master] might know that I did not betray him behind his back, and that God does not bless with His guidance the artful schemes of those who betray their trust
(Then Joseph said: I asked for) this, that he (my lord) may know that I betrayed him not in secret, and that surely Allah guideth not the snare of the betrayers
"This (say I), in order that He may know that I have never been false to him in his absence, and that Allah will never guide the snare of the false ones
From this, Joseph should know that I did not speak dishonestly about him in his absence, for Allah certainly does not guide the scheming of the dishonest.
[When Joseph learned what had happened, he said, "I asked for] this so that [my former master] can know that I did not betray him behind his back. God does not guide the mischief of the treacherous.
From this, said Joseph, [The nobleman] should know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that God does not guide the plotting of the treacherous
This is that he might know that I have not been unfaithful to him in secret and that Allah does not guide the device of the unfaithful
Joseph said: That is so that the great one know that I betray him not in his absence. And that God guides not the cunning of the ones who are traitors.
That was so he may know that I have not betrayed him during his absence, and that God does not guide traitors.
(Joseph) said: “(I asked for this enquiry) in order that he (Al-Aziz) may know that I did not betray him in secret. Allah does not guide the plot of the betrayers.
He said, “What was your purpose when you sought to lure Joseph from himself?” They said, “God be praised! We know no evil against him.” The viceroy’s wife said, “Now the truth has come to light. It was I who sought to lure him from himself, and verily he is among the truthful.
This I say, so that he (i.e.,Yusuf) comes to know that I have not betrayed him in absence (as he is still staying in the prison of his own), and that Allah fulfils not the plot of the betrayers
Joseph said, "By this inquiry I meant to let him (Al-Aziz) know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah does not let the snare of the treacherous succeed."
'This is that he may know that I did not betray him in secret, and that God does not guide the scheming of the betrayers.'
That (is so); so that he may know I did not betray him in (his) absence, and that Allah does not guide the plotting of the treacherous
(Joseph said), "This proves that I was not disloyal to the King in his absence. God does not grant success to the efforts of disloyal people
(Then Yusuf said), .That was because he (the governor) may know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah does not lead the guile of betrayers to success
(When Joseph learned this) He said, "I hope that the governor will realize that I never betrayed him in his absence. And Allah never leads to success those who betray Him and betray the trust of people."
(Yusuf said), "Just so the truth comes out! I did not betray my master´s trust in his absence. Surely, Allah does not guide the disloyal and the faithless!"
"(I say) this, so that he may know that I have never been false to him in his absence, and that Allah will never help the plots set by the false ones
That is so al-'Azeez will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allah does not guide the plan of betrayers
"That is so he knows that I will not betray him while he is not present and that God does not guide the scheming of the betrayers."
[Joseph said, ‘This was] for my master to know that I did not betray him behind his back: God does not guide the mischief of the treacherous
He said: that did in order that he may know that I betrayed him not in secret, and that Allah guideth not the guile of betrayers
(At this Joseph remarked:) "From this (the Minister) should know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that God does not surely let the wiles of those who betray ever succeed
In this way he may know at last that I did not dishonour him behind his back and that Allah most surely does not guide the deviousness of the dishonourable.
(Joseph was informed of the women’s confessions and the declaration of his innocence. He explained why he had asked for the inquiry:) "This was so that he (my former lord) should know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that God never guides the schemes of the treacherous (to success)
[Joseph said], [I initiated] this [inquiry], that he may know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah does not further the schemes of the treacherous
(The wife said) "This, I asked that he (my lord) might know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah guides not the guile of the betrayers
(And Joseph said:) this was for him to know that I did not betray him in his absence, and indeed God does not guide the plot of the betrayers
“That in order that he may know that I have never betrayed him in his absence, and that God will never assist the plans of betrayal. (End of Part 12
Yusuf said, “All this was so that my master would know I didn’t betray him in his absence,” and Allah does not guide the schemers of cunning plots.
Joseph said: "I did this so that he [i.e. the chief) may know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah does not allow the design of the treacherous to succeed
"That is so he knows that I will not betray him while he is not present and that God does not guide the planning of the betrayers."
"This is to let him (Joseph) know that I have not betrayed him behind his back and that Allah guides not the scheme of the betrayers."
Yusuf said, 'I have done this because Aziz should know that I betrayed him not behind his back, and Allah allows not the guile of betrayers.
"I hope that he will realize that I never betrayed him in his absence, for GOD does not bless the schemes of the betrayers.
This (I have done) so that he will know I did not secretly betray him, and that Allah does not guide the guile of the treacherous
This is that he might know that I have not been unfaithful to him in secret, and that Allah guides not the device of the unfaithful
That (it is) to him to know that I, I did not betray/become unfaithful to him with the unseen/hidden and that God does not guide the betrayer's/unfaithful's plot/conspiracy
Joseph said: “The reason for which I asked for this enquiry is to prove once and forever to my ex-master that I did not take advantage of his trust; after all, God never guides those who betray the trust.”
Said Yusuf, "I did this so that the governor may realise that I did not betray him behind his back, and Allah does not let the deceit of betrayers be successful."
Joseph said, I ask for this inquiry to be made so that the Aziz might know that I was not unfaithful to him in his absence and that ALLAH suffers not the device of the unfaithful to succeed
(Yusuf [Joseph]) said: ‘I have done this) so that he (‘Aziz of Egypt, who has been my master and benefactor,) may know that I have not betrayed his trust in his absence, and surely Allah lets not the plots of those who betray trusts prove successful
(When the news was brought to Joseph he said,) `This (course of action I adopted) so that he (- the `Aziz) might know that I had not betrayed him in (his) absence and that Allah suffers not the device of the unfaithful to succeed.
(Then Yoosuf (Joseph) said: "I asked for this enquiry) in order that he (Al-Azeez) may know that I betrayed him not in secret. And, verily! Allah guides not the plot of the betrayers
'That, so that he may know I betrayed him not secretly, and that God guides not the guile of the treacherous
And when Joseph was acquainted therewith he said, this discovery hath been made, that my lord might know that I was not unfaithful unto him in his absence, and that God directeth not the plot of the deceivers
'That' (said Joseph) 'was that he might know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that God guides not the craft of those who do betray
"By this" (said Joseph) "may my lord know that I did not in his absence play him false, and that God guideth not the machinations of deceivers
From this,‘ said Joseph, ‘my lord will know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that God does not guide the mischief of the treacherous
I say this so that he may know that I have never lied about him behind his back. God will never guide the plan of liars.
That was so he (my husband) may know that I have not betrayed him during his absence, and that Allah (God) does not guide traitors.
From this he will know that I did not betray him behind his back, and that God does not bless with His guidance the schemes of those who betray their trust.
“This is so my master knows I did not betray him and Allah does not allow the deceit of the betrayers to be successful.”
(Yusuf said): That, so that he(the 'Aziz)may know that I have not betrayed him in secret, and that Allah does not guide the device of the treacherous.
"I declare the truth", she added, "so that he knows that I did not advantage myself of his absence and betray him or relate to him falsehood. Allah does not cause the cunning of the deceitful and the dishonest attain its end."
(Yusuf said, “All)that (was done), because he (my master) should know that I did not betray him in secret (behind his back) and Allah certainly does not guide the betrayers (in their) plot.
"This (say I), in order that He may know that I have never been false to him in his absence, and that God will never guide the snare of the false ones
