He said, "You will sow (for) seven years, as usual, and that which you reap so leave it in its ears except a little from which you (will) eat.
[Joseph] replied: "You shall sow for seven years as usual; but let all [the grain] that you harvest remain [untouched] in its ear, excepting only a little, whereof you may eat
He said: Ye shall sow seven years as usual, but that which ye reap, leave it in the ear, all save a little which ye eat
(Joseph) said: "For seven years shall ye diligently sow as is your wont: and the harvests that ye reap, ye shall leave them in the ear,- except a little, of which ye shall eat
Joseph replied, “You will plant ˹grain˺ for seven consecutive years, leaving in the ear whatever you will harvest, except for the little you will eat.
[Joseph] replied, "You will sow for seven years as usual, but let all [the grain] that you harvest remain [untouched] in its spikes, except for a little that you may eat.
Joseph said, You shall sow for seven consecutive years as usual, but leave in the ear the harvest that you reap, except for a little which you may eat
He said: You shall sow for seven years continuously, then what you reap leave it in its ear except a little of which you eat
He said: You will sow for seven years in like previous manner and of what you reaped, then, forsake ears of wheat, but a little of it that you may eat.
He said: "You will farm for seven years as usual, and with anything you harvest, leave it in its ear except for a little which you may eat.
He (Joseph) said: “For 7 years, you will sow as usual and that (the harvest) which you reap, you should leave in ears, except a little of it which you may eat.
“Joseph, O truthful one! Give us thine opinion concerning seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones, and seven green heads of grain, and others dry, that haply I may return to the people, that they might know.
(Yusuf) said: “You shall sow seven years as usual, then what ever you harvested, so leave it in ears except a small portion from which you may eat
He replied: "You will cultivate for seven consecutive years. During this time you should leave the corn you reap in the ear, except what may be sufficient for your food.
He said, 'You will farm for seven consecutive years. But whatever you harvest, leave it in its spikes, except for the little that you eat.'
He said, "You will plant seven years after your steadfast manner; so, what you have harvested, then leave out in the ear, excepting a little of which you eat
(Joseph) said, "Cultivate your lands for seven years as usual and preserve the produce with its ears each year except the little amount that you will consume
He said, .You will grow crops for seven years consecutively. So, what you have harvested, leave it in its ear, except a little which you eat
Joseph (without blaming him for his forgetfulness) told him the meaning and the way to avert the oncoming famine, "Work hard on agriculture for seven seasons. When you harvest the crop, only reap the amount you need. Leave the rest of the grains in the spikes."
(Yusuf) said, "You will reap bumper crops for seven years. So leave the grain you harvest in its ear. Store it, except for what you need to eat."
(Yusuf) said: "For seven consecutive years you shall carefully sow (and grow) as you are used to (doing): And the crops that you reap, you will leave them in the ear— Except a little, from which you will eat
[Joseph] said, "You will plant for seven years consecutively; and what you harvest leave in its spikes, except a little from which you will eat
He said: "You will plant regularly for seven years, and whatever you harvest you must leave it in its pods, except for the little that you will eat."
then I can return to the people to inform them.’ Joseph said, ‘You will sow for seven consecutive years as usual. Store all that you reap, left in the ear, apart from the little you eat
He said: ye shall sow seven years as is your went; and that which ye reap leave in its ears, except a little whereof ye may eat
He said: "Sow as usual for seven years, and after reaping leave the corn in the ears, except the little you need for food
He said, ´Sow for seven years in the normal way and leave that which you harvest in the ear except for a small amount from which you eat.
He said: "You shall sow for seven years as usual, but that which you have harvested, leave it in the ear, all save a little which you eat
He said, ‘You will sow for seven consecutive years. Then leave in the ear whatever [grain] you harvest, except a little that you eat

Joseph said, “For seven years you will diligently sow as you will, and the harvests of what you reap, you will leave in the ear, except a little of which you will eat
Yusuf said, “For seven years you will plant crops as normal, but you will leave what you harvest in the ears, except for a small amount that you will eat.
Joseph said: "You will cultivate consecutively for seven years. Leave in the ears all that you have harvested except the little out of which you may eat
He said: "You will plant regularly for seven years, and whatever you harvest you must leave it in its pods, except for the little that you will eat."
Joseph explained, "You shall sow for seven years continuously, then leave what you reap in ears, except the little that you need for immediate consumption."
He said. 'You will do cultivation for seven continuous years, then what you reap, leave it in its ear, but a little which you may eat.
He said, "What you cultivate during the next seven years, when the time of harvest comes, leave the grains in their spikes, except for what you eat.
He replied: 'You shall sow for seven years as is your way. Leave in the ear (of corn) you reap, except a little which you eat
He said: You shall sow for seven years as usual, then that which you reap, leave it in its ear, except a little which you eat
He said: "You sow/seed/plant seven years habitually/consistently, so what you harvested/gathered, so leave it in its ear/spike (of corn, barley etc.), except little from what you eat."
Joseph replied: “Whatever you harvest, during the next seven years, consume a part of it and save the remainder.”
He said, "You will cultivate for seven years continuously; so leave all that you harvest in the ear, except a little which you eat."
Joseph replied, `You shall sow for seven years, working diligently throughout; then leave, what you reap in its ear, except a little which you shall eat
Yusuf (Joseph) said: ‘You will cultivate as usual, consecutively for seven years. So whatever you reap, keep it (in storage), leaving the grains in their ears except a small quantity (to thresh) for your (yearly) consumption
He (- Joseph) replied, `You shall sow for seven years working hard and continuously and let what you have harvested remain in its ear excepting a little whereof you may eat
((Yoosuf (Joseph)) said: "For seven consecutive years, you shall sow as usual and that (the harvest) which you reap you shall leave in ears, (all) - except a little of it which you may eat
He said, 'You shall sow seven years after your wont; what you have harvested leave in the ear, excepting a little whereof you eat
Joseph answered, ye shall sow seven years as usual: And the corn which ye shall reap, do ye leave in its ear, except a little whereof ye may eat
He said, 'Ye shall sow for seven years, as is your wont; but what ye reap, let it remain in the ear, except a little whereof ye shall eat
He said, "Ye shall sow seven years as is your wont, and the corn which ye reap leave ye in its ear, except a little of which ye shall eat
He said: ‘You shall sow for seven consecutive years. Leave in the ear the corn you reap, except a little which you may eat.
(Joseph) explained, “For seven years you should plant diligently. At harvest time, you should preserve the ears except the least amount for eating.
He said: "You will farm for seven years as usual, and with anything you harvest, leave it in its ear except for a little which you may eat.
He replied: 'You shall sow for seven consecutive years, but let the grain you harvest remain in its ear, except for the little which you may eat.
(Joseph) said, “Cultivate for seven years as you are accustomed to... And leave what you harvest in the ear, except for a little, of which you will eat.”
He said: 'You shall sow for seven consecutive years and that which you have harvested you leave it in its ear, except a little whereof you eat'.
Yusuf did not only tell him of what people should expect but also suggested the safe measures to be taken. He said: "You shall sow the land in diligent labouring and when it is the season for reaping and gathering in the ripened grain, leave it in its ears and lay it up in store except a little which you will eat."
He said, “You will sow for seven consecutive years, then leave in the ears (the grain) which you reap, except a small quantity from which you will eat.
(Joseph) said: "For seven years shall ye diligently sow as is your wont: and the harvests that ye reap, ye shall leave them in the ear,- except a little, of which ye shall eat
