And among them (are some) who listen to you. But (can) you cause to hear the deaf even though they [were] (do) not use reason?
And there are among them such as (pretend to] listen to thee: but canst thou cause the deaf to hearken even though they will not use their reason
And of them are some who listen unto thee. But canst thou make the deaf to hear even though they apprehend not
Among them are some who (pretend to) listen to thee: But canst thou make the deaf to hear,- even though they are without understanding
Some of them listen to what you say, but can you make the deaf hear even though they do not understand?
Some of them listen to you, but, can you cause the deaf to hear if they do not understand?
Some of them appear to be listening to you; but can you make the deaf hear, incapable as they are of understanding
And there are those of them who hear you, but can you make the deaf to hear though they will not understand
And among them are some who listen to thee. So hast thou caused someone unwilling to hear, to hear if they had not been reasonable?
Some of them however do listen to you. Yet can you make the deaf hear, even though they do not use their reason?

And among them are those who listen to thee. But dost thou make the deaf to hear, though they understand not
And out of them are those who listen to you. Could you then make the deaf to hear even though they had been (those who) do not use intellect
There are some among them who pretend to hear what you say: but can you make the deaf listen to you, incapable as they are of understanding
And among them are those who listen to you. But can you make the deaf hear, even though they do not understand
And of them are the ones who listen to you; will you then make the deaf to hear (even) if they do not consider?
Some of them will listen to you, but are you supposed to make the deaf hear even if they have no understanding
And among them there are those who listen to you. Would you, then, make the deaf hear, even though they lack understanding
Among them are those who apparently listen to you. (But their thoughts are wandering). Can you make those deaf to hear who do not use reason? (47:16)
Among them are those who seem to hear you. Would you then, try to make the deaf hear, even though he understands nothing

Among them are some who hear you, but can you cause the deaf to hear when they are without understanding
Some of them pretend to listen to you. Can you make the deaf hear? Especially those who don’t think?
Of them some seem to give heed to you; will you, then, make the deaf hear even though they understand nothing?
And there are some of them who listen to you; but can you make the deaf hear, if they do not comprehend?
And there are those of them who appear to be listening to you. But can you make the deaf to listen even when they cannot understand
And of them are some who give ear to you, then will you make the deaf hear, even though they understand not?

And from them who listen/hear to you, so do you make the deaf hear/listen and (even) if they were not reasoning/understanding
Among the disbelievers, they are those who (due to their prejudices, have already made up their mind not to hear what you say but) just listen. Can you make the deaf (who is also suffering from lack of understanding) to hear what you say
And among them are some who listen to you; so will you make the deaf hear even if they do not have any sense
And among them are some who give ear to thee. But canst thou make the deaf hear, even though they understand not
And there are some amongst them who (apparently) lend you their ears, but will you make the deaf hear even though they do not have a little capability to understand
And some of them (appear to) give ear to you. Can you make the deaf hear, even though they would not (care to) perceive (in order to be guided aright)
And among them are some who listen to you, but can you make the deaf to hear, even though they apprehend not

Among them are some who listen to your discourse on practical divinity but they counsel deaf. Therefore, do you think you will be able to communicate with those whose their hearts' ears are closed and they fail to reflect
