| Arabic | | لَٰكِنِ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ جَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ وَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ الْخَيْرَاتُ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُون |  |

| the Messenger | | l-rasūlu | | الرَّسُولُ | | ر س ل | |
| and those who | | wa-alladhīna | | وَالَّذِينَ | | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| believed | | āmanū | | ءَامَنُوا | | ا م ن | |
| strove | | jāhadū | | جَاهَدُوا | | ج ه د | |
| with their wealth | | bi-amwālihim | | بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ | | م و ل | |
| and their lives. | | wa-anfusihim | | وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ | | ن ف س | |
| And those, | | wa-ulāika | | وَأُولَئِكَ | | ا و ل ا ء | |
| (are) the good things, | | l-khayrātu | | الْخَيْرَاتُ | | خ ى ر | |
| and those - | | wa-ulāika | | وَأُولَئِكَ | | ا و ل ا ء | |
| (are) the successful ones. | | l-muf'liḥūna | | الْمُفْلِحُونَ | | ف ل ح | |
