| 87:1 | | Glorify the name of thy Lord, the Most High | | 87:2 | | Who creates man and perfects him | | 87:3 | | And Who determines his capacities and furnishes him with appropriate guidance | | 87:4 | | And Who brings forth the pasturage | | 87:5 | | Then turns it into black stubble | | 87:6 | | WE shall teach thee the Qur'an and thou shalt not forget it | | 87:7 | | Except as what ALLAH wills. Surely, HE knows what is manifest and what is hidden | | 87:8 | | And WE shall provide thee with every facility | | 87:9 | | So keep on admonishing people. Surely, admonition is, indeed, profitable | | 87:10 | | He who fears will heed | | 87:11 | | But the most wretched will turn aside from it | | 87:12 | | He who will enter the great Fire | | 87:13 | | Then he will neither die therein nor live | | 87:14 | | Verily, he, indeed, will prosper who purifies himself | | 87:15 | | And remembers the name of his Lord and offer Prayers | | 87:16 | | But you prefer the life of this world | | 87:17 | | Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting | | 87:18 | | This, indeed, is what is taught in the former Scriptures | | 87:19 | | The Scriptures of Abraham and Moses |
