| 82:1 | | "When the sky is shattered," | | 82:2 | | "when the stars are scattered," | | 82:3 | | "when the oceans burst," | | 82:4 | | "and the graves are overturned," | | 82:5 | | (then) each soul will know what it has sent ahead and what it has left behind | | 82:6 | | "O human! What has deceived you about your Lord, the Generous One" | | 82:7 | | "Who created you, and shaped you in perfect balance and proportion," | | 82:8 | | and fashioned you in whatever form He pleased | | 82:9 | | "No, but you deny the Judgement," | | 82:10 | | "yet surely there are guardian (angels) over you," | | 82:11 | | "noble (angels) who write down (your actions)," | | 82:12 | | who know all that you do | | 82:13 | | "As for the righteous, they will be in great happiness," | | 82:14 | | and the wicked will be in Hell | | 82:15 | | "They will enter it on the Day of Judgement," | | 82:16 | | and they shall never escape from it | | 82:17 | | "Oh, what can make you understand what the Day of Judgement is?" | | 82:18 | | "Again, what can make you understand what th Day of Judgement is?" | | 82:19 | | "A day when no soul is able to help another soul in any way, and the absolute command on that day belongs to Allah." |
