| Arabic | | وَلَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَصَبَرُوا عَلَىٰ مَا كُذِّبُوا وَأُوذُوا حَتَّىٰ أَتَاهُمْ نَصْرُنَا وَلَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكَ مِن نَّبَإِ الْمُرْسَلِين |  |

| but they were patient | faṣabarū | فَصَبَرُوا | ص ب ر | |
| they were rejected | kudhibū | كُذِّبُوا | ك ذ ب | |
| and they were harmed | waūdhū | وَأُوذُوا | ا ذ ى | |
| came to them | atāhum | أَتَاهُمْ | ا ت ى | |
| Our help. | naṣrunā | نَصْرُنَا | ن ص ر | |
| one (can) alter | mubaddila | مُبَدِّلَ | ب د ل | |
| (the) words | likalimāti | لِكَلِمَاتِ | ك ل م | |
| (of) Allah, | l-lahi | اللَّهِ | ا ل ه | |
| and surely | walaqad | وَلَقَدْ | ق د | |
| has come to you | jāaka | جَاءَكَ | ج ى ا | |
| of (the) news | naba-i | نَّبَإِى | ن ب ا | |
| (of) the Messengers. | l-mur'salīna | الْمُرْسَلِينَ | ر س ل | |
