| Arabic | | وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَىٰ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَهُمْ فَنَسُوا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُون |  |

| but they forgot | fanasū | فَنَسُوا | ن س ى | |
| they were reminded | dhukkirū | ذُكِّرُوا | ذ ك ر | |
| So We aroused | fa-aghraynā | فَأَغْرَيْنَا | غ ر و | |
| between them | baynahumu | بَيْنَهُمُ | ب ى ن | |
| [the] enmity | l-ʿadāwata | الْعَدَاوَةَ | ع د و | |
| and [the] hatred | wal-baghḍāa | وَالْبَغْضَاءَ | ب غ ض | |
| (the) Day | yawmi | يَوْمِ | ى و م | |
| (of) the Resurrection. | l-qiyāmati | الْقِيَامَةِ | ق و م | |
| And soon | wasawfa | وَسَوْفَ | س و ف | |
| will inform them | yunabbi-uhumu | يُنَبِّئُهُمُ | ن ب ا | |
| they used to | kānū | كَانُوا | ك و ن | |
| do. | yaṣnaʿūna | يَصْنَعُونَ | ص ن ع | |
