| the heavens | | l-samāwāti | | السَّمَاوَاتِ | | س م و | |
| and the earth | | wal-arḍa | | وَالْأَرْضَ | | ا ر ض | |
| in truth | | bil-ḥaqi | | بِالْحَقِّ | | ح ق ق | |
| and that may be recompensed | | walituj'zā | | وَلِتُجْزَى | | ج ز ى | |
| it has earned, | | kasabat | | كَسَبَتْ | | ك س ب | |
| will be wronged. | | yuẓ'lamūna | | يُظْلَمُونَ | | ظ ل م | |
