| Then We caused to swallow up, | | fakhasafnā | | فَخَسَفْنَا | | خ س ف | |
| and his home, | | wabidārihi | | وَبِدَارِهِ | | د و ر | |
| the earth. | | l-arḍa | | الْأَرْضَ | | ا ر ض | |
| (to) help him | | yanṣurūnahu | | يَنْصُرُونَهُ | | ن ص ر | |
| those who (could) defend themselves. | | l-muntaṣirīna | | الْمُنْتَصِرِينَ | | ن ص ر | |
