| The Sovereignty, | | al-mul'ku | | الْمُلْكُ | | م ل ك | |
| that Day | | yawma-idhin | | يَوْمَئِذٍ | | ى و م | |
| (will be) truly, | | l-ḥaqu | | الْحَقُّ | | ح ق ق | |
| for the Most Gracious. | | lilrraḥmāni | | لِلرَّحْمَنِ | | ر ح م | |
| And (it will) be | | wakāna | | وَكَانَ | | ك و ن | |
| the disbelievers | | l-kāfirīna | | الْكَافِرِينَ | | ك ف ر | |
| difficult. | | ʿasīran | | عَسِيرًا | | ع س ر | |
