شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدى ً لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَات ٍ مِنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ فَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَنْ كَانَ مَرِيضاً أَوْ عَلَى سَفَر ٍ فَعِدَّة ٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلاَ يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Shahru RamaĐāna Al-Ladhī 'Unzila Fīhi Al-Qur'ānu Hudáan Lilnnāsi Wa Bayyinātin Mina Al-Hudá Wa Al-Furqāni Faman Shahida Minkumu Ash-Shahra Falyaşumhu Wa Man Kāna MarīĐāan 'Aw `Alá Safarin Fa`iddatun Min 'Ayyāmin 'Ukhara Yurīdu Allāhu Bikumu Al-Yusra Wa Lā Yurīdu Bikumu Al-`Usra Wa Litukmilū Al-`Iddata Wa Litukabbirū Allāha `Alá Mā Hadākum Wa La`allakum Tashkurūna
A month of aspiration, in which the Qur'an was revealed; as a guide to the people and clarities from the guidance and the Criterion. Therefore, whoever of you witnesses the month, then let him fast therein. And whoever is ill or traveling, then the same number from different days. God wants to bring you ease and not to bring you hardship; and so that you may complete the count, and glorify God for what He has guided you, that you may be thankful.
18:73
قَالَ لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِمَا نَسِيتُ وَلاَ تُرْهِقْنِي مِنْ أَمْرِي عُسْرا ً
Qāla Lā Tu'uākhidhnī Bimā Nasītu Wa Lā Turhiqnī Min 'Amrī `Usrāan
He said: "Forgive me for what I forgot, and do not be hard upon my request with you."
65:7
لِيُنفِقْ ذُو سَعَة ٍ مِنْ سَعَتِه ِِ وَمَنْ قُدِرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُه ُُ فَلْيُنفِقْ مِمَّا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ لاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسا ً إِلاَّ مَا آتَاهَا سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْر ٍ يُسْرا ً
Liyunfiq Dhū Sa`atin Min Sa`atihi Wa Man Qudira `Alayhi Rizquhu Falyunfiq Mimmā 'Ātāhu Allāhu Lā Yukallifu Allāhu Nafsāan 'Illā Mā 'Ātāhā Sayaj`alu Allāhu Ba`da `Usrin Yusrāan
The rich shall provide support in accordance with his means, and the poor shall provide according to the means that God bestowed upon him. Goddoes not burden any soul more than He has given it. God will provide ease after difficulty.
94:5
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرا ً
Fa'inna Ma`a Al-`Usri Yusrāan
So with hardship comes ease.
94:6
إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرا ً
'Inna Ma`a Al-`Usri Yusrāan
With hardship comes ease.

الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ الْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَكَانَ يَوْماً عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ عَسِيرا ً
Al-Mulku Yawma'idhin Al-Ĥaqqu Lilrraĥmani Wa Kāna Yawmāan `Alá Al-Kāfirīna `Asīrāan
The true kingship on that Day will be to the Almighty. And it is a Day which will be very hard on the rejecters.
54:8
مُهْطِعِينَ إِلَى الدَّاعِ يَقُولُ الْكَافِرُونَ هَذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِر ٌ
Muhţi`īna 'Ilá Ad-Dā`i Yaqūlu Al-Kāfirūna Hādhā Yawmun `Asirun
Hastening towards the caller, the rejecters will say: This is a difficult Day.
74:9
فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِير ٌ
Fadhālika Yawma'idhin Yawmun `Asīrun
That will be a very difficult Day.

Fasanuyassiruhu Lil`usrá
We will make for him the difficult path.

2:280
وَإِنْ كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَة ٍ فَنَظِرَة ٌ إِلَى مَيْسَرَة ٍ وَأَنْ تَصَدَّقُوا خَيْر ٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa 'In Kāna Dhū `Usratin Fanažiratun 'Ilá Maysaratin Wa 'An Taşaddaqū Khayrun Lakum 'In Kuntum Ta`lamūna
If the person is facing insolvency, then you shall wait until he becomes able. And if you relinquish it as a charity it is better for you if only you knew.
9:117
لَقَدْ تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنصَارِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوه ُُ فِي سَاعَةِ الْعُسْرَةِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيق ٍ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّه ُُ بِهِمْ رَءُوف ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Laqad Tāba Allāhu `Alá An-Nabīyi Wa Al-Muhājirīna Wa Al-'Anşāri Al-Ladhīna Attaba`ūhu Fī Sā`ati Al-`Usrati Min Ba`di Mā Kāda Yazīghu Qulūbu Farīqin Minhum Thumma Tāba `Alayhim 'Innahu Bihim Ra'ūfun Raĥīmun
God has pardoned the prophet and the emigrants and the supporters who had followed him in the darkest hour, even though the hearts of some of them nearly deviated, but then He pardoned them. He is towards them Compassionate, Merciful.

أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُمْ مِنْ وُجْدِكُمْ وَلاَ تُضَارُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ وَإِنْ كُنَّ أُولاَتِ حَمْل ٍ فَأَنْفِقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَأْتَمِرُوا بَيْنَكُمْ بِمَعْرُوف ٍ وَإِنْ تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهُ~ُ أُخْرَى
'Askinūhunna Min Ĥaythu Sakantum Min Wujdikum Wa Lā TuĐārrūhunna LituĐayyiqū `Alayhinna Wa 'In Kunna 'Ūlāti Ĥamlin Fa'anfiqū `Alayhinna Ĥattá YaĐa`na Ĥamlahunna Fa'in 'ArĐa`na Lakum Fa'ātūhunna 'Ujūrahunna Wa 'Tamirū Baynakum Bima`rūfin Wa 'In Ta`āsartum FasaturĐi`u Lahu 'Ukhrá
You shall let them reside in the dwelling you were in when you were together, and do not coerce them to make them leave. And if they are pregnant, you shall spend on them until they give birth. Then, if they nurse the infant, you shall give them their due payment. And you shall maintain the amicable relations between you. If you disagree, then another woman may nurse the child.
