| Arabic | | مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِن وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَٰهٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُون |  |

| and surely would have overpowered, | | walaʿalā | | وَلَعَلَا | | ع ل و | |
| some of them | | baʿḍuhum | | بَعْضُهُمْ | | ب ع ض | |
| Glory be | | sub'ḥāna | | سُبْحَانَ | | س ب ح | |
| (to) Allah | | l-lahi | | اللَّهِ | | ا ل ه | |
| they attribute! | | yaṣifūna | | يَصِفُونَ | | و ص ف | |
