General Root Meaning
to hasten forward, go along fearfully in looking fixedly at a point.
ahta'a - to walk fast while stretching the neck (camel).
   muh'ṭiʿīna   (2)

70:36
So what is with those who disbelieve, before you (they) hasten,

14:43
Racing ahead, raised up their heads, not returning towards them their gaze, and their hearts (are) empty.

54:8
Racing ahead towards the caller. Will say the disbelievers, "This (is) a Day difficult."
