Dr. Munir Munshey
If He demands your wealth and continues to do so, you will be stingy and He will expose your weaknesses
Dr. Kamal Omar

If He were to ask you for your possessions and press you (in that regard), you would have grown niggardly, and Allah would have brought your failings to light
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad
If He asks you for it (your possession) and presses you, you will be stingy and He would bring out (expose) your grudges
Should He ask you for it (- your wealth) and press you (for it), you would show stinginess and this (niggardliness) will bring to surface your malice (and hatred towards the divine Faith)
If He asks you for this wealth and puts you under scarcity for that, then you will feel constrained (at heart and) become miserly. And in this way, He will expose your (inner) rust (which results from worldly pursuits)
If He had asked you (for all of it) and pressured you, you would have been stingy and (thus) He would have exposed your hatred.
