They said, "O Aziz! Indeed, he has a father old [great], so take one of us (in) his place. Indeed, we [we] see you of the good-doers."
They said: "O thou great one! Behold, he has a father, a very old man: detain, therefore, one of us in his stead. Verily, we see that thou art a doer of good!"
They said: O ruler of the land! Lo! he hath a very aged father, so take one of us instead of him. Lo! we behold thee of those who do kindness
They said: "O exalted one! Behold! he has a father, aged and venerable, (who will grieve for him); so take one of us in his place; for we see that thou art (gracious) in doing good."
They appealed, “O Chief Minister! He has a very old father, so take one of us instead. We surely see you as one of the good-doers.”
They said, “Honorable governor, he has a father who is a very old man. Therefore, detain one of us instead. We can see that you are a very good man.”
They said, O exalted one, he has a very aged father, take one of us in his place. We can see that you are a very good man
They said: O chief! he has a father, a very old man, therefore retain one of us in his stead; surely we see you to be of the doers of good
They said: O the great one! Truly, for him is an old man as his father so take one of us in his place. Truly, we consider thee among the ones who are doers of good.
They said: "Sir, he has a father who is an elderly gentleman. Take one of us in his place; we see you are someone who acts kindly."
They said: “O mighty one! Surely, he (Benjamin) has a very old father (who will grieve for him); so take one of us in his place. Indeed we think you are one of the righteous people.”
They said, “O viceroy! He has a venerable, aged father; so take one of us in his place. Truly we see you as being among the virtuous.
They pleaded, “O Noble one, he has an elderly father, so take one of us in his place. We see you as a good-doer.”
They said, 'O noble prince, he has a father, a very old man, so take one of us in his place. We see that you are a good person.'
They said: “O you Al-Aziz! Verily, for him (is his) father, a very, very old man, so detain one of us in his place. Indeed we: we see you out of those who do righteousness in perfection.”
- They said: "O noble prince! He (Benjamin) has a very aged father who may not be able to survive without him, so please take one of us instead of him. We see that you are one of those who do good to others."
They said, "O you mighty (Governor), (Literally: the ever-Mighty Al-caziz) surely he has a father, aged and great with years; so take one of us in his place; surely we see that you are one of the fair-doers."
They said, "Noble Prince, his father is very old so please take one of us in his place. We believe that you are a righteous person"
They said, .O ‘Aziz, he has a father, a very old man. So, take one of us in his place. We see you are a generous man
They said to Joseph, "O Noble one! He has an aged father, so take one of us instead of him. We see that you are a doer of good."
They said, "Oh chief, his father is really very old. Keep one of us in his stead! We find you to be a kind hearted person!"
They said (to the king): "O high one! Verily! He has an old and respected father, (who will feel very sad without him); So take (and keep) one of us in his place; Indeed, we see that you are (kind) in doing good."
They said, "O 'Azeez, indeed he has a father [who is] an old man, so take one of us in place of him. Indeed, we see you as a doer of good."
They said: "O Governor, he has an elderly father, so take one of us in his place. Indeed we see you as one of the good doers."
They said, ‘Mighty governor, he has an elderly father. Take one of us in his place. We can see that you are a very good man.’
They said: Aziz! verily he hath a father, an old man very aged; So take one of us in his stead; verily we behold thee to be of the well-doers
They said: "O Minister, he has an aged father, so keep one of us in his place. We see you are a virtuous man."
They said, ´Your Eminence! He has an old and venerable father, so take one of us instead of him. We see without a doubt that you are of the people who do good.´
"O minister!" they said: "He has a father, a very old man; so take one of us in his place. We see that you are indeed of those devoted to selfless kindness."
They said, ‘O emir! Indeed he has a father, a very old man; so take one of us in his place. Indeed we see that you are a virtuous man.’
They said, "O exalted one (ruler, minister)! Verily, he has a father, aged and venerable (who will grieve). Take then one of us instead of him; verily, we can see that you are of those who do good."
They said: “The powerful one, indeed he has a very old father, so take one of us in his place, as indeed we see you are of the good doers.”
They said, “O exalted one, behold, he has a father who is very old, so take one of us in his place, for we see that you graciously do good.
“Your Lordship,” they said, “his father is an old man, so arrest one of us instead. We consider you to be a gracious person.”
They said: "O powerful chief (al-aziz)! His father is an age-stricken man, (and in order that he may not suffer) seize one of us in his stead. We indeed consider you an excellent person."
They said: "O governor, he has an elderly father, so take one of us in his place. Indeed we see you as one of the good doers."
They said, "Sir! He has a very old father; so, retain one of us in his place. We do indeed see you as a good man."
They said, 'O Aziz, he has a father, aged and advanced in years, so take one of us in his place. No doubt we are seeing your favours.
They said, "O you noble one, he has a father who is elderly; would you take one of us in his place? We see that you are a kind man."
They said: 'Mighty prince, his father is old, advanced in years, take one of us instead of him. We can see you are amongst the gooddoers.
They said: O chief, he has a father, a very old man, so take one of us in his place. Surely we see thee to be of the doers of good
They said: "You, you Elaziz/Egyptian ruler, that to him (is) an old aged big father, so take/receive any of us (in) his place/position, that we, we see you from the good doers."
The brothers said: “Your highness, he has a very old father (which may have a heart attack or something, hearing his baby is enslaved.) You are a kind man; take one of us in his place.”
They said, "O governor! He has a very aged father, so take one of us in his stead; indeed we witness your favours."
They said, `O noble chief, he has a very aged father, so take one of us in his place; for we see thee to be one of those who are benevolent.
They said: ‘O ‘Aziz (of Egypt), his father is an aged, elderly person. So detain any one of us in his stead. Surely, we have seen that you are of the generous (and benevolent) people.
(Brothers of Joseph) said, `O noble chief! surely he has an old father, advanced in years, so retain one of us in his place. Surely, we see you to be of the doers of good (to all).
They said: "O ruler of the land! Verily, he has an old father (who will grieve for him); so take one of us in his place. Indeed we think that you are one of the Muhsinoon (good-doers - see V.2:112)."
They said, 'Mighty prince, he has a father, aged and great with years; so take one of us in his place; we see that thou art one of the good-doers.
They said unto Joseph, noble lord, verily this lad hath an aged father; wherefore take one of us in his stead; for we perceive that thou art a beneficent person
They said, 'O prince! Verily, he has a father, a very old man; take then one of us instead of him; verily, we can see that thou art of those who do good.
They said, "O Prince! Verily he hath a very aged father; in his stead, therefore, take one of us, for we see that thou art a generous person."
They said: ‘Noble prince, he has an aged father; take one of us, instead of him. We can see you are a man of virtue
They said, “O mighty one! He indeed has an old notable father therefore hold one of us in his stead. We indeed see that you are of those who are excellent in deeds.”
They said: ‘O’ mighty prince, he has a very aged father, so take one of us in his place. We see you one of those who pursue righteousness and perfection in Faith’.
They said: oh governor, he has a very old father, so take one of us in his place, we consider you of those who do good.
They said, “O exalted one, his father is certainly quite old, so detain one of us in his place. Truly, we see that you are kind.”
They said, “O mighty governor, he has a father (who is) a very old man, so take one of us in his place; we see that you are of those who excel in doing good.”
They said: "Sir, he has a father who is an elderly gentleman. Take one of us in his place; we see you are someone who acts kindly." Joseph Part 13
They said, “O The Cherished Man, he has a father, a very old man, so take one of us in his place. Surely, We see you among the benefactors.”
They said: 'Chief Minister, this lad has a father who is very old. Take one of us instead of him. We see that you are indeed a generous man.'
(The brothers) said, “O Azeez... Indeed, he has a father who is very old... Take one of us in his stead... Indeed, we see you as a doer of good.”
They said: 'O' 'Aziz! He has a father, aged and advanced in years, so take one of us in his place; verily we see you of the doers of good'.
Yusuf said: "O you noble one, he has a father who is carried through the stealing steps of age to advanced life. Take one of us in his stead, we do see you a man of piety and we see in you virtue in its true signification."
They said, “O you who are mighty ! He has a father a very old man, so you seize one of us in his place, we see you to be of the doers of good.”
They said, 'O Aziz! Indeed, he has a father, a very old man; take then one of us instead of him; indeed we, we see you are of the good-doers.'
They said: "O exalted one! Behold! he has a father, aged and venerable, (who will grieve for him); so take one of us in his place; for we see that thou art (gracious) in doing good."
They said, "O Aziz! Indeed, he has a father old [great], so take one of us (in) his place. Indeed, we [we] see you of the good-doers.
Qaloo ya ayyuha alAAazeezu inna lahu aban shaykhan kabeeran fakhuth ahadana makanahu inna naraka mina almuhsineena
