And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds
Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!"
If they were to see a ˹deadly˺ piece of the sky fall down ˹upon them˺, still they would say, “˹This is just˺ a pile of clouds.”
Even if they were to see a piece the sky falling, they would say, "Just a heap of clouds."
If they should see a part of the heavens falling down, they would say, A mass of clouds

Even a great miracle such as falling a part of the sky will be justified by them as “a mass of cloud advancing.”
And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.”
And if they should see a fragment of the sky falling down, they would say, just clouds piled up
And if they see a fragment of the sky falling (on them, even then) they will say: ‘It is a layered (thick) cloud.
