Tobit said, “Brother, tell me what family and tribe you belong to.”

Then Tobit said to him, “Brother, of what family are you and from what tribe? Tell me, brother.”

But Raphael asked, Why do you need to know that? Tell me the truth, said Tobit. What is your name, and who are you?

Then he entered, and greeted, or saluted, Tobit, and said to him, Joy be (for)ever(more) to thee! [and so gone in, saluted him, and said, Joy to thee evermore be!]

But he answered, “Are you looking for a tribe and a family or for a man whom you will pay to go with your son?” And Tobit said to him, “I should like to know, my brother, your people and your name.”

Then Tobit said to him, “Brother, of what family are you and from what tribe? Tell me, brother.”

Then Tobit said to him, ‘Brother, of what family are you and from what tribe? Tell me, brother.’

Tobit said to him, “Brother, which family and which tribe do you come from? Tell me, brother!”

Tobit asked him, “Brother, tell me, please, from what family and tribe are you?”

But he answered, “Are you looking for a tribe and a family or for a man whom you will pay to go with your son?” And Tobit said to him, “I should like to know, my brother, your people and your name.”
